Power Saver Mode

The Power Saver Modes switches the printer/copier to a standby mode by lowering the temperature of the Fuser and/or disconnecting the power to the Control Panel, thereby reducing power consumption.

You can select the type of Power Saver Mode and set the entry times.

The power consumption ratios and exit times for each Power Saver Mode listed in Table 4 were measured at the Mode Entry Time: 5 minutes. If you change the Mode Entry Time, the power consumption ratios will be different.

The power consumption ratio (%) of each Power Saver Mode is to the power consumed when the Power Saver Mode feature is not activated.

The exit time for the Power Saver Mode is the period it takes to return to the Ready to Copy status.

The values listed in Table 4 vary depending on the operating environments.

Replacing the Dry Ink (Toner) Cartridge

As you make copies, the dry ink (toner) will gradually be used up. When it has reached a low level, the message, Please replace dry ink (toner) cartridge xx will be displayed. The xx refers to either yellow, magenta, cyan, or black dry ink (toner).

The 5750 can make about 40 to 50 copies after this message is displayed. The number of copies depends on the size and color areas of the originals.

Replace the indicated dry ink (toner) cartridge as soon as possible.

CAUTION: Do not use warm or hot water, or cleaning solvents, to remove dry ink (toner) from your skin or clothing. This sets the dry ink (toner) and makes it difficult to remove. If any dry ink (toner) gets on your skin or clothing, use a brush to remove it, or blow it off, or wash it off with cold water and mild soap.

To ensure your safety in operating the 5750, read the warning and caution labels inside the printer/copier carefully.
