Features This unit is an audio transmitter using Bluetooth technology. You can enjoy music wirelessly by transmitting the audio signals to a Bluetooth receiving device (headset, car stereo, speaker, stereo component system, etc.)*1, if you connect this unit to the Walkman with the WM-PORT*2 (22 pin). *1 Bluetooth receiving devices are required to support A2DP (Advanced Audio

Basic operation of Bluetooth devices

e following example describes how you can transmit music played on a Walkman connected to this unit, and listen on a Bluetooth receiving device (headset).

Pairing Enables a Bluetooth receiving device and this unit to recognize one another. You do not need to recognize one another next time if you did once.

Location and Function of Parts

Connecting to a Walkman Connect this unit to the WM-PORT of a Walkman firmly.

To turn on this unit Connect this unit to the Walkman, then the power of this unit will turn on automatically. If the power of this unit is off while the unit is connected to the Walkman, press and hold the units power button for about 2 seconds to turn it on. When this unit turns on, the indicator flashes twice.

To turn off this unit To turn off this unit, press and hold this units power button for about 2 seconds. The indicator flashes once and this unit turns off. Tip Maximum Communication time or standby time may vary depending on your Walkman. Notes To listen to music from the headphone jack of the Walkman, disconnect this unit

from the Walkman. While this unit is turned on, it consumes power from the Walkman. We

recommend turning off this unit when not using the Bluetooth function. If you turn off this unit while the Walkman is playing back, playback will stop. There is no need to charge this unit as it will receive power from the connected

Walkman. It is recommended to check the Walkmans remaining battery before using. Depending on the Walkman model, you may not be able to connect the

headphone to it when this unit is connected to the Walkman.

Pairing

What is pairing? Bluetooth devices need to be paired with each other beforehand. Once Bluetooth devices are paired, there is no need for pairing again, except in the following cases: Pairing information is deleted after repair, etc. This unit is paired with 9 or more receiving devices.

This unit can be paired with up to 8 Bluetooth receiving device. If a new device is paired after 8 devices have been paired, the device whose latest connection time is the oldest among the 8 paired devices is replaced by the new one.

This unit is initialized. All pairing information is deleted (page 18).

Pairing procedures

1 Connect this unit to the Walkman (page 7). The power of this unit turns on.

2 Press and hold the power button of this unit for about 2 seconds to turn it off.

3 Place this unit and the Bluetooth receiving device to be paired together within 1 m.

4 Set the Bluetooth receiving device to enter Pairing in process. (See the operating instructions supplied with the Bluetooth receiving device.)

Note Passcode* of this unit is fixed at 0000. Depending on the Bluetooth receiving device, it may be necessary to input the passcode (in this case, 0000). This unit cannot be paired with a Bluetooth receiving device whose passcode is not 0000.

* Passcode may be called Passkey, PIN code, PIN number, or Password.

5 Press and hold the power button of this unit for more than about 7 seconds to enter Pairing in process. After about 2 seconds, the indicator will flash twice but keep pressing the power button.

When the indicator of this unit flashes quickly, stop pressing it. This unit enters Pairing in process. This units indicator status will vary as follows, and pairing is established with the Bluetooth receiving device. Indicator flashes quickly: Pairing in process Indicator flashes when responding to the Bluetooth receiving device. (Paring successful) Indicator flashes (at about 5-second intervals): Connectable Notes Pairing in process of this unit is released after about 5 minutes. If pairing is

not established within about 5 minutes, repeat the above procedure from step . To enter Pairing in process, you need to turn off the power of this unit first.

When not completed paring Repeat the procedure from step .

To quit Pairing in process Press and hold the power button of this unit for about 2 seconds to turn off this unit.

Tip When paring this unit with a number of Bluetooth receiving devices, repeat steps and for each device individually.

Note Depending on the Bluetooth receiving device, the unit may not enter Connectable automatically. In this case, see the operating instructions supplied with the device.

Listening to music

Bluetooth Connecting / Playing back You can listen to music of the Walkman connected to this unit on the Bluetooth receiving device (headset, etc.).

Before starting operation, complete pairing this unit and the Bluetooth receiving device (page ).

1 Set the Bluetooth receiving device to Connectable for the Bluetooth connection. (See the operating instructions supplied with the Bluetooth receiving device.)

2 Connect this unit to the Walkman then turn on the Walkman. This units indicator status will vary as follows, and the Bluetooth connection between this unit and the Bluetooth receiving device is established.

If the Bluetooth connection is not established within 5 minutes, this unit automatically turns itself off. In this case, turn it on again by pressing and holding the power button for about 2 seconds.

Note If the Bluetooth connection cannot be established with the device paired already, try pairing again.

3 Start playback on the Walkman connected to this unit. The music of the Walkman is played back on the Bluetooth receiving device.

Tip You can control the volume on the Bluetooth receiving device.

Notes Depending on your Walkman, when the Walkman is in Sleep status, you may

need to keep pressing the play button in order to start playback. Even if you control the volume on the Walkman, sound from the Bluetooth

receiving device will not change. If the Bluetooth receiving device is supported by AVRCP (Vol +/-), you can control its volume. (For more details, see page 13.)

When this unit establishes the Bluetooth connection with the Walkman, AVLS (Automatic Volume Limiter System) is deactivated and beep sounds are not emitted.

If this unit and the Bluetooth receiving device become out of range and the Bluetooth connection terminates, repeat the procedure from step 1. Note, however, that if the unit and the Bluetooth receiving device come into connectable range again within about 10 minutes, Bluetooth connection will be reestablished automatically.

When you listen to FM broadcast received by a Walkman with a built-in FM tuner through the Bluetooth receiving device, make sure to connect the headphone to the Walkman, as the headphone cord works as an antenna, otherwise FM signals cannot be received.

If the recording level of audio data on the Walkman is too high, the output sound quality from the Bluetooth receiving device, may not meet the user customized settings, e.g., Equalizer etc.

Playback through a Bluetooth connection may cause noise, sound break, or playback speed change depending on the location and the usage (page 14).

About the MODE switch You can select the sound quality or wireless communication stability preferentially. MODE 1: Sound quality takes priority. MODE 2: Reception stability takes priority.

Notes When you set the MODE switch to MODE 1, and experience interference from

other wireless communication devices or sound breaks, set to MODE 2. Sound break may occur depending on your Bluetooth receiving device when

switching between MODE 1 and 2.

Controlling by the Remote When connecting (Bluetooth connecting) to devices that support AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile) You can control the Walkman using the control button of the Bluetooth headset, also adjust the volume of the Bluetooth speaker using the control button of the Walkman. For details, see the operating instructions supplied with the Bluetooth devices.

Before starting remote control operation, check that step 1 and of Bluetooth Connecting / Playing back are completed (page 11). Remote control for the Walkman by the Bluetooth receiving device.

Tip When you stop playing back the Walkman, this unit enters Connectable. While in Connectable, you can turn on the Walkman by using the Bluetooth receiving device.

When operating the Walkman by remote control, do not cover this unit with hands. When operating the Walkman for the Bluetooth receiving device remote control,

point this unit toward the Bluetooth receiving device. You may not be able to change the volume by the remote control from the

Walkman depending on your Bluetooth receiving device. Do not cover this unit with hands.

Because Bluetooth devices and wireless LAN (IEEE802.11b/g) use the same frequency, microwave interference may occur and resulting in communication speed deterioration, noise, or invalid connection if this unit is used near a wireless LAN device. In such a case, perform the following.

What is Bluetooth technology? Bluetooth wireless technology is a short- range wireless technology that enables wireless data communication between digital devices, such as a computer or digital camera. Bluetooth wireless technology operates within a range of about 10 meters (about 30 feet). You do not need to use a cable for connection since Bluetooth technology is a wireless technology, nor is it necessary for the devices to face one another, such is the case with infrared technology. For example, you can use such a device in a bag or pocket. Bluetooth technology is an international standard supported by thousands of companies all over the world, and employed by various companies worldwide.

If this unit is used within about 10 meters (about 30 feet) of a wireless LAN device, turn off the wireless LAN device.

cannot be guaranteed. A device featuring Bluetooth

function is required to conform to the Bluetooth standard specified by Bluetooth SIG, and be authenticated.

Even if the connected device conforms to the above mentioned Bluetooth standard, some devices may not be connected or work correctly, depending on the features or specifications of the device.

Depending on the device to be connected, communication may take some time.

On safety Do not drop, hit, or otherwise expose

the unit to strong shock of any kind. This could damage the product. Do not disassemble or attempt to open

any parts of the unit.

Notes on using in a car Do not attempt to connect this unit, or to operate this unit, an audio output device or a car radio while driving or waiting at a traffic signal.

Cleaning Clean the unit with a soft, dry cloth, or a soft cloth lightly moistened with a mild detergent solution. Do not use any type of solvent, such as alcohol or benzene, which may damage the finish.

Troubleshooting If you run into any problem using this unit, disconnect the unit from the Walkman, then reconnect it after a while (reset). Furthermore, turn off the Walkman and the Bluetooth receiving device then turn them on again. (For details on how to operate, see the operating instructions supplied with either device.) Also check the following list. Should any problem persist, consult your nearest Sony dealer.

Symptom Cause / Remedy

This unit is not turned on. (or turns off shortly after turning on.)

Check the remaining battery of the Walkman. If the remaining battery is not enough, charge the Walkman.

No sound Check the connection between this unit and the Walkman.

Check that both this unit and the Bluetooth receiving device are turned on.

Ensure that this unit is not too far from the Bluetooth receiving device, or this unit is not receiving interference from a wireless LAN, other 2.4 GHz wireless device, or microwave oven.

Pair this unit and the Bluetooth receiving device again.

Low sound level Turn up the volume of the Bluetooth receiving device as high as possible to the extent that sound is not distorted. For details on volume adjustment, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the Bluetooth receiving device.

Cannot change the volume.

Change the volume on the Bluetooth receiving device.

Symptom Cause / Remedy

Distorted sound Turn down the volume of the Bluetooth receiving device to the point where the sound is no longer distorted. For details on volume adjustment, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the Bluetooth receiving device.

Sound break, noise or playback speed change

If a device that generates electromagnetic radiation, such as a wireless LAN, other Bluetooth device(s), or a microwave oven is nearby, move away from such sources.

Remove any obstacle between this unit and other Bluetooth device or move away from the obstacle.

Locate this unit and other Bluetooth device(s) as near as possible.

Re-position or re-orient this unit. Re-position or re-orient other Bluetooth device.

Pairing cannot be established.

Locate this unit and other Bluetooth device(s) as near as possible.

Check if you input correct passcode (page 8).

Bluetooth connection cannot be established with a device that has been paired before.

This unit tries to connect with either of the last two devices recognized before. If this unit cannot establish the Bluetooth connection with a paired device, operate the connecting procedures on the Bluetooth receiving device or pair the device again.

Pairing information may be deleted. Pair the device again.

Initializing this unit You can reset this unit to its default and delete all pairing information.

1 Connect the unit to the Walkman while pressing and holding the power button on the unit.

2 Continue to press and hold the power button for more than about 15 seconds. The indicator flashes 4 times, and this unit is reset to the default setting. All pairing information is deleted.

Raccordement un Walkman Raccordez fermement lappareil au WM-PORT du Walkman.

Mise sous tension de lappareil Lappareil se met automatiquement sous tension ds que vous le raccordez un Walkman. Si cet appareil est mis hors tension alors quil est raccord au Walkman, appuyez sur linterrupteur de lappareil et maintenez la pression pendant environ 2 secondes pour le mettre sous tension. Lorsque cet appareil est mis sous tension, lindicateur clignote deux fois.

Remarques Pour couter de la musique via la prise de casque du Walkman, dbranchez cet

appareil du Walkman. Lorsque cet appareil est sous tension, il consomme lnergie du Walkman. Nous

vous recommandons de mettre cet appareil hors tension lorsque vous nutilisez pas la fonction Bluetooth.

Si vous mettez cet appareil hors tension lors de la lecture de chansons sur le Walkman, la lecture sarrte.

Il est inutile de recharger cet appareil dans la mesure o il est aliment par le Walkman raccord. Il est recommand de vrifier lautonomie restante des piles du Walkman avant de lutiliser.

Selon le modle du Walkman, il se peut que le raccordement du casque soit impossible lorsque cet appareil est raccord au Walkman.

Pairage Quest-ce que le pairage ?

Les priphriques Bluetooth doivent pralablement tre jumels . Une fois que les appareils Bluetooth se sont dtects mutuellement, il nest plus ncessaire de procder cette opration par la suite, lexception des cas suivants : Lorsque les informations de pairage sont supprimes aprs une

rparation, etc. Lorsque cet appareil est jumel avec 9 priphriques de rception

ou plus. Cet appareil peut tre jumel avec 8 priphriques de rception Bluetooth maximum. Si un nouveau priphrique est jumel alors que 8 autres priphriques le sont dj, le priphrique dont la date de la dernire connexion est la plus ancienne parmi les 8 priphriques est remplac par le nouveau.

Lorsque lappareil est rinitialis. Toutes les informations de pairage sont supprimes (page 18).

Procdures de pairage

1 Raccordez lappareil au Walkman (page 7). Lappareil est mis sous tension.

2 Appuyez sur linterrupteur de lappareil et maintenez la pression pendant 2 secondes environ pour le mettre hors tension.

3 Placez lappareil et le priphrique de rception Bluetooth dans un rayon d1 mtre pour effectuer le pairage.

4 Rglez le priphrique de rception Bluetooth de sorte passer en mode Pairage en cours . (Reportez-vous au mode demploi fourni avec le priphrique de rception Bluetooth.)

Remarque Le code dauthentification* dfini pour cet appareil est 0000 . Selon le priphrique de rception Bluetooth, il peut savrer ncessaire de saisir le code dauthentification (dans ce cas, 0000 ). Cet appareil ne peut pas tre jumel avec un priphrique de rception Bluetooth dont le code dauthentification nest pas 0000 .

5 Appuyez sur linterrupteur de lappareil et maintenez la pression pendant plus de 7 secondes environ pour passer en mode Pairage en cours . Aprs 2 secondes environ, lindicateur clignote deux fois. Maintenez linterrupteur enfonc.

3 Commencez la lecture sur le Walkman raccord cet appareil. La musique du Walkman est lue sur le priphrique de rception Bluetooth.

Conseil Vous pouvez rgler le volume sur le priphrique de rception Bluetooth.

Remarques Selon votre Walkman, lorsque celui-ci est en tat de Veille, il est possible que vous

soyez oblig de maintenir la touche de lecture enfonce pour lancer la lecture. Mme si vous rglez le volume du Walkman, le son du priphrique de rception

Bluetooth ne change pas. Si le priphrique de rception Bluetooth est pris en charge par le profil de tlcommande multimdia AVRCP (Vol +/-), vous pouvez rgler son volume. (Pour plus de dtails, reportez-vous la page 13.)

Lorsque cet appareil tablit la connexion Bluetooth avec le Walkman, la fonction AVLS (systme automatique de limitation du volume) est dsactive et les bips sonores ne sont pas mis.

Lorsque cet appareil et le priphrique de rception Bluetooth sont hors de porte et que la connexion Bluetooth prend fin, recommencez la procdure partir de ltape 1. Notez nanmoins que si lappareil et le priphrique de rception Bluetooth sont de nouveau dans un champ rendant la connexion possible avant environ 10 minutes, la connexion Bluetooth est de nouveau automatiquement tablie.

Si vous coutez des missions de radio FM sur un Walkman dot dun tuner FM intgr par lintermdiaire du priphrique de rception Bluetooth, veillez raccorder le casque au Walkman car le cordon du casque sert dantenne. Sinon, vous ne pourrez pas recevoir les signaux FM.

Si le niveau denregistrement des donnes audio sur le Walkman est trop lev, il se peut que la qualit du son mis par le priphrique de rception Bluetooth ne prenne pas en compte les rglages personnaliss de lutilisateur, comme par exemple Egaliseur (lEgaliseur), etc.

La lecture via une connexion Bluetooth peut entraner des parasites, des interruptions du son ou une modification de la vitesse de lecture selon lemplacement et lutilisation (page 14).

A propos du commutateur MODE Selon vos prfrences, vous pouvez privilgier la qualit sonore ou la stabilit dune communication sans fil. MODE 1 : La qualit sonore est prioritaire. MODE 2 : La stabilit de la rception est prioritaire.

Remarques Si vous rglez le commutateur MODE sur MODE 1 et que vous recevez des

interfrences provenant dautres priphriques de communication sans fil ou si le son est intermittent, rglez-le sur MODE 2.

Selon votre priphrique de rception Bluetooth, le son peut tre interrompu lorsque vous basculez entre MODE 1 et 2.

Commande avec la tlcommande Lors de la connexion (Bluetooth) avec des priphriques qui prennent en charge la fonction AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile) (profil de tlcommande multimdia) Vous pouvez commander le Walkman laide de la touche de commande situe sur le casque Bluetooth. Dpannage Si vous rencontrez des problmes lis lutilisation de cet appareil, dbranchez lappareil du Walkman, puis branchez-le de nouveau aprs quelques instants (rinitialisation). De plus, mettez le Walkman et le priphrique de rception Bluetooth hors tension, puis de nouveau sous tension. (Pour obtenir plus dinformations sur le fonctionnement, reportez-vous au mode demploi fourni avec chaque priphrique.) Vrifiez galement la liste suivante. Im folgenden Beispiel wird erlutert, wie Sie Musik, die auf einem mit diesem Gert verbundenen Walkman abgespielt wird, an ein Bluetooth-Empfangsgert (Headset) bertragen und auf diese Weise wiedergeben lassen knnen.

Pairing Dieser Prozess ermglicht es einem Bluetooth-Empfangsgert und diesem Gert, einander zu erkennen. Wenn das Pairing einmal durchgefhrt wurde, braucht es nicht wiederholt zu werden.

Verbinden mit einem Walkman Schlieen Sie dieses Gert fest an den WM-PORT eines Walkman an.

So schalten Sie dieses Gert ein Sobald Sie dieses Gert an den Walkman anschlieen, schaltet es sich automatisch ein. Wenn dieses Gert mit einem Walkman verbunden und ausgeschaltet ist, halten Sie die Ein-/Ausschalttaste am Gert zum Einschalten ca. 2 Sekunden lang gedrckt. Wenn sich das Gert einschaltet, blinkt die Anzeige zweimal. So schalten Sie dieses Gert aus Halten Sie zum Ausschalten des Gerts die Ein-/Ausschalttaste ca. 2 Sekunden lang gedrckt. Die Anzeige blinkt einmal und das Gert schaltet sich aus.

Hinweise Wenn Sie ber die Kopfhrerbuchse des Walkman Musik wiedergeben lassen

wollen, trennen Sie dieses Gert vom Walkman. Solange dieses Gert eingeschaltet ist, bezieht es Strom vom Walkman. Daher empfiehlt

es sich, das Gert auszuschalten, wenn Sie die Bluetooth-Funktion nicht verwenden. Wenn Sie dieses Gert ausschalten, whrend auf dem Walkman die Wiedergabe

luft, stoppt die Wiedergabe. Dieses Gert braucht nicht aufgeladen zu werden, da es den ntigen Strom

vom angeschlossenen Walkman bezieht. Es empfiehlt sich, vor Gebrauch den Ladezustand des Akkus im Walkman zu berprfen.

Pairing

Was ist das Pairing? Bei Bluetooth-Gerten muss zunchst ein Pairing (eine Paarbildung) erfolgen. Ist das Pairing zwischen den Bluetooth-Gerten einmal erfolgt, braucht es nicht erneut ausgefhrt zu werden, auer in folgenden Fllen: Pairing-Informationen werden bei Reparaturen usw. gelscht. Bei diesem Gert hat ein Pairing mit 9 oder mehr Empfangsgerten stattgefunden.

Bei diesem Gert ist ein Pairing mit bis zu 8 Bluetooth-Empfangsgerten mglich. Wenn das Pairing bereits mit 8 Gerten erfolgte, wird beim erneuten Pairing das Gert, bei dem die letzte Verbindung unter den 8 Gerten am lngsten zurckliegt, durch das neue Gert ersetzt.

Das Gert wird initialisiert. Dabei werden alle Pairing-Informationen gelscht (Seite 18).

Pairing-Verfahren

1 Verbinden Sie dieses Gert mit dem Walkman (Seite 7). Dieses Gert schaltet sich ein.

2 Halten Sie die Ein-/Ausschalttaste an diesem Gert ca. 2 Sekunden lang gedrckt, so dass es sich ausschaltet.

3 Stellen Sie dieses Gert und das Bluetooth-Empfangsgert, mit dem das Pairing durchgefhrt werden soll, in einem Abstand von bis zu 1 m auf.

4 Aktivieren Sie am Bluetooth-Empfangsgert den Modus Pairing luft. (Nheres dazu finden Sie in der Bedienungsanleitung zum Bluetooth-Empfangsgert.)

Hinweis Das Passwort* dieses Gerts ist fest auf 0000 eingestellt. Je nach Bluetooth- Empfangsgert muss unter Umstnden ein Passwort eingegeben werden (in diesem Fall 0000). Das Pairing kann nur mit einem Bluetooth-Empfangsgert erfolgen, dessen Passwort ebenfalls 0000 ist.

* Das Passwort wird manchmal auch Kennwort, PIN-Code, PIN- Nummer oder Passcode genannt.

5 Halten Sie die Ein-/Ausschalttaste an diesem Gert mehr als ca. 7 Sekunden lang gedrckt, so dass das Gert in den Modus Pairing luft schaltet. Nach ca. 2 Sekunden blinkt die Anzeige zweimal. Halten Sie die Ein-/Ausschalttaste jedoch weiterhin gedrckt.

Wenn die Anzeige am Gert schnell blinkt, lassen Sie die Taste los. Dieses Gert wechselt in den Modus Pairing luft. Die Anzeige an diesem Gert wechselt folgendermaen und zeigt damit ein erfolgreiches Pairing mit dem Bluetooth-Empfangsgert an. aus. Wenn das Pairing innerhalb von ca. 5 Minuten nicht gelingt, gehen Sie erneut wie ab Schritt erlutert vor.

Damit das Gert in den Modus Pairing luft schaltet, mssen Sie es zunchst ausschalten.

Wenn das Pairing fehlschlgt Wiederholen Sie alle Schritte ab Schritt . So beenden Sie den Modus Pairing luft Halten Sie die Ein-/Ausschalttaste an diesem Gert ca. 2 Sekunden lang gedrckt, so dass es sich ausschaltet. Tipp Wenn Sie das Pairing fr dieses Gert mit mehreren Bluetooth-Empfangsgerten durchfhren wollen, fhren Sie Schritt und fr jedes Empfangsgert einzeln aus.

Hinweis Je nach Bluetooth-Empfangsgert wechselt dieses Gert nicht automatisch in den Modus Verbindung mglich. Schlagen Sie in diesem Fall in der mit dem Gert gelieferten Bedienungsanleitung nach.

Bluetooth-Verbindung/Wiedergabe Sie knnen Musik vom mit diesem Gert verbundenen Walkman ber das Bluetooth-Empfangsgert (Headset usw.) wiedergeben lassen.

Schlieen Sie vor dem Ausfhren von Funktionen das Pairing dieses Gerts mit dem Bluetooth-Empfangsgert ab (Seite ).

1 Schalten Sie fr das Bluetooth-Empfangsgert die Bluetooth- Verbindung auf Verbindung mglich. (Nheres dazu finden Sie in der Bedienungsanleitung zum Bluetooth-Empfangsgert.)

2 Verbinden Sie dieses Gert mit dem Walkman und schalten Sie dann den Walkman ein. Die Anzeige an diesem Gert wechselt folgendermaen, whrend die Bluetooth-Verbindung zwischen diesem Gert und dem Bluetooth-Empfangsgert hergestellt wird.

Wenn die Bluetooth-Verbindung nicht innerhalb von 5 Minuten zustande kommt, schaltet sich dieses Gert automatisch aus. Schalten Sie es in diesem Fall wieder ein, indem Sie die Ein-/Ausschalttaste ca. 2 Sekunden lang gedrckt halten.

Hinweis Wenn mit einem Gert, mit dem bereits ein Pairing durchgefhrt wurde, keine Bluetooth-Verbindung zustande kommt, fhren Sie das Pairing erneut durch.

3 Starten Sie die Wiedergabe an dem Walkman, der mit diesem Gert verbunden ist. Die Musik vom Walkman wird ber das Bluetooth-Empfangsgert wiedergegeben.

Tipp Sie knnen die Lautstrke des Bluetooth-Empfangsgerts einstellen.

Hinweise Je nach Walkman mssen Sie zum Starten der Wiedergabe mglicherweise die

Wiedergabetaste gedrckt halten, wenn sich der Walkman im Sleep-Modus befindet.

Wenn Sie die Lautstrke am Walkman ndern, hat dies keinen Einfluss auf die Wiedergabe am Bluetooth-Empfangsgert. Nur wenn das Bluetooth- Empfangsgert AVRCP (Vol +/-) untersttzt, knnen Sie seine Lautstrke einstellen. (Einzelheiten dazu finden Sie auf Seite 13.)

Wenn zwischen diesem Gert und dem Walkman eine Bluetooth-Verbindung besteht, wird AVLS (Automatic Volume Limiter System - Automatisches Lautstrkebegrenzungssystem) deaktiviert und es werden keine Signaltne ausgegeben.

Wenn der Abstand zwischen diesem Gert und dem Bluetooth-Empfangsgert zu gro wird und die Bluetooth-Verbindung abbricht, gehen Sie wieder wie ab Schritt 1 erlutert vor. Wenn sich der Abstand zwischen diesem Gert und dem Bluetooth- Empfangsgert innerhalb von ca. 10 Minuten wieder ausreichend verkleinert, wird die Bluetooth-Verbindung automatisch wieder hergestellt.

Wenn Sie an einem Walkman mit integriertem UKW-Tuner einen UKW-Sender einstellen und ber das Bluetooth-Empfangsgert wiedergeben lassen, mssen Sie die Kopfhrer an den Walkman anschlieen, da das Kopfhrerkabel als Antenne fungiert und andernfalls keine UKW-Signale empfangen werden.

Wenn der Aufnahmepegel der Audiodaten auf dem Walkman zu hoch ist, entspricht die Qualitt des ber das Bluetooth-Empfangsgert wiedergegebenen Tons mglicherweise nicht den Benutzereinstellungen wie Equalizer usw.

Bei der Wiedergabe ber eine Bluetooth-Verbindung kann es je nach Umgebungs- und Betriebsbedingungen zu Strrauschen, Tonunterbrechungen oder wechselnder Wiedergabegeschwindigkeit kommen (Seite 14).

Hinweis zum Schalter MODE Sie knnen auswhlen, ob die Tonqualitt oder die Stabilitt der Funkkommunikation Prioritt haben soll. MODE 1: Die Tonqualitt hat Prioritt. MODE 2: Die Empfangsstabilitt hat Prioritt.

Hinweise Wenn Sie den Schalter MODE auf MODE 1 stellen und Interferenzen von

anderen drahtlosen Kommunikationsgerten oder Tonunterbrechungen auftreten, stellen Sie den Schalter auf MODE 2.

Je nach Bluetooth-Empfangsgert kann es bei einem Wechsel zwischen MODE 1 und 2 zu Tonunterbrechungen kommen.

Fernsteuerungsfunktionen Bei einer Verbindung (Bluetooth-Verbindung) zu Gerten, die AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile) untersttzen Sie knnen den Walkman ber die Steuertaste am Bluetooth-Headset bedienen und die Lautstrke eines Bluetooth-Lautsprechers ber die Steuertaste am Walkman einstellen. Nheres dazu schlagen Sie bitte in den Bedienungsanleitungen zu den Bluetooth-Gerten nach. Bevor Sie die Fernsteuerungsfunktionen benutzen, vergewissern Sie sich, dass Schritt 1 und unter Bluetooth-Verbindung/Wiedergabe abgeschlossen wurden (Seite 11). Sie knnen den Walkman ber das Bluetooth-Empfangsgert fernsteuern.

Fernsteuerung (Wiedergabe, Stopp usw.)

Headset mit AVRCP Tipp Wenn Sie die Wiedergabe am Walkman stoppen, schaltet dieses Gert in den Modus Verbindung mglich. Im Modus Verbindung mglich knnen Sie den Walkman ber das Bluetooth-Empfangsgert einschalten. Sie knnen das Bluetooth-Empfangsgert ber den Walkman fernsteuern.

Lautsprecher mit AVRCPFernsteuerung (Lautstrke +, Lautstrke - usw.)Hinweise

Je nach Status des Walkman kann das Bluetooth-Empfangsgert mglicherweise nicht per Fernsteuerung bedient werden.

Wenn Sie die Lautstrke am Walkman ndern, hat dies keinen Einfluss auf die Lautstrke am Bluetooth-Empfangsgert, also z. B. am Headset.

Strungsbehebung Wenn an diesem Gert ein Problem auftritt, trennen Sie es vom Walkman und schlieen Sie es nach einer Weile wieder an (Rcksetzung). Emparejamiento Qu es el emparejamiento?

Los dispositivos Bluetooth deben emparejarse previamente entre s. Una vez que los dispositivos Bluetooth se han emparejado, no es necesario volver a hacerlo excepto en los casos siguientes: Si la informacin de emparejamiento se ha eliminado tras una

reparacin, etc. Cuando la unidad se ha emparejado con 9 o ms dispositivos receptores.

Esta unidad puede emparejarse con hasta 8 dispositivos Bluetooth receptores. Este dispositivo se puede emparejar hasta con otros 8, pero si se conecta otro ms ste reemplazar el que se haya conectado en primer lugar de los 8.

Cuando se ha inicializado la unidad. Se elimina toda la informacin de emparejamiento (pgina 18).

Procedimientos de emparejamiento

1 Conecte esta unidad al dispositivo Walkman (pgina 7). La unidad se encender.

2 Mantenga pulsado el botn de alimentacin de esta unidad durante unos 2 segundos para apagarla.

3 Coloque la unidad y el dispositivo Bluetooth receptor que va a emparejar a menos de 1 m.

4 Ajuste el dispositivo Bluetooth receptor para entrar en la funcin Emparejamiento en proceso.

2 Conecte la unidad al dispositivo Walkman y, a continuacin, encienda este ltimo. El estado del indicador de la unidad variar de la siguiente manera y la conexin Bluetooth entre esta unidad y el dispositivo Bluetooth receptor se establece.

Aunque controle el volumen en el dispositivo Walkman, el sonido emitido desde el dispositivo Bluetooth receptor no cambiar. Si el dispositivo Bluetooth receptor es compatible con el protocolo AVRCP (Vol +/-), podr controlar su volumen (para obtener ms informacin, consulte la pgina 13).

Cuando esta unidad establece la conexin Bluetooth con el dispositivo Walkman, el perfil AVLS (Automatic Volume Limiter System, Sistema limitador automtico del volumen) se desactiva y no se emiten pitidos.

Si esta unidad y el dispositivo Bluetooth receptor salen del rango de comunicacin y la conexin Bluetooth finaliza, repita el procedimiento desde el paso 1. Solucin de problemas Si detecta cualquier problema con la unidad, desconctela del dispositivo Walkman y, a continuacin, vulvala a conectar transcurridos unos instantes (reiniciar). 3 Avviare la riproduzione sul Walkman collegato al presente apparecchio. La musica del Walkman viene riprodotta sul dispositivo di ricezione Bluetooth.
