English Before connecting the speakers, attach the speaker stand to the speaker.

Notes Be sure to use the correct speaker cords when connecting the speakers.

For details, refer to the operating instructions supplied with this receiver. For front speaker, use the short post with large base and the speaker cords with white / red connector. For surround speaker, use the long post with small base and the speaker cords with blue / grey

connector. Spread a cloth on the oor to avoid damaging the oor.

1 Fold the speaker cord and twist it together. Thread the speaker cord through the hole in the base and post.

Be careful with the orientation of the post. Thread the speaker cord into the end of the post that has two holes.

2 Attach the post cover to the other end of the post. Orient the slot toward you, attach the post cover so that the slot of the post engages with

the tab of the post cover, then secure with the screw. 3 Lay the post in the slot of the speaker, slide the post to the end of the slot, then

secure the post with the bracket and screws. 4 Connect the speaker cords to the speaker.

Extend the twisted speaker cord as before. 5 Attach the post to the base. Insert and rotate the post slightly so that the slit on the lower part of the post aligns with the

projection of the base, then secure the post with two screws. 6 Adjust the height of the speaker and the length of the speaker cord. Loosen (but do not remove) the screws on the bracket, adjust the height of the speaker,

then secure the screws. Adjust the speaker of one side, then adjust another speaker by checking the lines as a guide.

Note When adjusting the height of the speaker, grasp the speaker so that the speaker does not fall.

Franais Avant de raccorder les enceintes, xez le support sur celles-ci.

Remarques Veillez utiliser les cordons denceinte adquats pour raccorder les enceintes. Pour plus de dtails,

reportez-vous au mode demploi fourni avec cet ampli-tuner. Pour lenceinte avant, utilisez le montant court dot dune base large et les cordons comportant un

connecteur blanc/rouge. Pour lenceinte surround, utilisez le montant long dot dune petite base et les cordons comportant un

connecteur bleu/gris. Etalez un chiffon sur le sol pour viter de labmer.

1 Pliez le cordon denceinte et torsadez-le. Faites passer le cble denceinte dans lori ce situ sur la base, puis dans celui situ sur le montant.

Vri ez lorientation du montant. Faites passer le cble denceinte lextrmit du montant comportant deux ori ces.

2 Fixez le cache du montant sur lautre extrmit du montant. Orientez la fente vers vous, xez le cache du montant de sorte que lergot du cache du montant

sencliquette dans la fente de celui-ci, puis xez avec les vis. 3 Placez le montant dans la fente de lenceinte, faites glisser le montant vers

lextrmit de la fente, puis xez le montant avec le support et les vis. 4 Raccordez les cordons denceinte lenceinte. Droulez le cble denceinte pralablement torsad. 5 Fixez le montant sur la base. Insrez le montant et faites-le pivoter lgrement de faon ce que la fente situe sur la

partie infrieure du montant saligne sur la partie saillante de la base, puis xez le montant laide de deux vis.

6 Ajustez la hauteur de lenceinte et la longueur du cordon denceinte. Dvissez les vis du support (sans les retirer), ajustez la hauteur de lenceinte, puis serrez

les vis. Ajustez les enceintes une une en vous aidant des repres. Remarque Lorsque vous ajustez la hauteur de lenceinte, tenez-la pour quelle ne tombe pas.

Note on TV connection If your TV is compatible with Audio Return Channel (ARC) function, the TV sound will output from the speakers connected to the receiver when you set ARC to ARC ON in SET HDMI menu. Otherwise, refer to the operating instructions for the audio connection of the TV to the receiver. For details on the TV settings, refer to the operating instructions of the TV.

5 Press V/v repeatedly until A.CAL START appears, then press .

The Auto Calibration starts in a few seconds. The measurement process will take approximately 30 seconds to complete. When the measurement ends, a beep

sounds and SAVE EXIT appears on the display. 6 Press to save the measurement results.
