Spreadaclothonthefloortoavoiddamagingthefloorwhenyou assemblethespeakers. 1 Placethebase()onthelowerpartofthespeaker(),andsecureitwithfour

screws(). Be sure use four screws for each speaker. There is an arrow mark at the bottom of the base (). Before installing the base to the speaker, make sure the arrow direction is facing the front of the speaker.

2 Threadthespeakercordoftheupperpartofthespeaker()intothetopof thelowerpartofthespeaker(),thenpullthespeakercordfrombelowthe base().

3 Placetheupperpartofthespeaker()ontothelowerpartofthespeaker() whilegentlypullingthespeakercordfrombelowthebase.Thensecurethe upperandlowerpartsofthespeakerwithascrew().

4 Removeanyslackofthespeakercordinthespeakerbygentlypullingitfrom belowthebase().

Caution Contact a screw shop or installer regarding the wall material or screws to be

used. Use screws that are suitable for the wall material and strength. As a plaster board

wall is especially fragile, attach the screws securely to a beam and fasten them to the wall. Install the speakers on a vertical and flat wall where reinforcement is applied. Sony is not responsible for accidents or damage caused by improper installation,

insufficient wall strength or improper screw installation, natural calamity, etc. 1 Forthetall-typespeakersonly(BDV-E6100/E4100only):Removetheprotection

sheetfromthedouble-sidedtapeonthespeaker-bottomcover,thenattachthe speaker-bottomcovertothebottomoftheupperpartofthetall-typespeaker.

2 Preparescrews(notsupplied)thataresuitablefortheholeonthebackofeach speaker.

3 Fastenthescrewstothewall. Leave a space of about 5 mm to 7 mm (7/32 in to 9/32 in) between the wall and the head of the screw. For the center speaker and tall-type speakers, measure the distance between the screws before fastening the screws to the wall. For the center speaker: 126 mm (5 in) (BDV-E6100/E4100/E3100 only) 110 mm (4 3/8 in) (BDV-E2100 only)

For the tall-type speakers: 170 mm (6 3/4 in)

Attention Adressez-vous une quincaillerie ou un installateur pour connatre le matriau

du mur ou les vis utiliser. Utilisez des vis adaptes au matriau et la rsistance du mur. Comme les

plaques de pltre sont particulirement fragiles, fixez fermement les vis une poutre et fixez-les au mur. Installez les haut-parleurs sur une paroi verticale et plane au niveau dun renforcement. Sony ne peut tre tenu responsable de tout accident ou dgt entran par une

installation incorrecte, une rsistance insuffisante du mur, une mauvaise fixation des vis, une catastrophe naturelle, etc.

1 Pourleshaut-parleurscolonnesuniquement(BDV-E6100/E4100uniquement): Retirezlafeuilledeprotectiondeladhsifdoublefaceducouvercleinfrieur duhaut-parleur,puisfixezcedernieraudessousdelapartiesuprieuredu haut-parleurcolonne.

2 Prparezdesvis(nonfournies)adapteslorificesituaudosdechaque haut-parleur.

3 Fixezlesvisaumur. Laissez un espace denviron 5 mm 7 mm (7/32 po 9/32 po) entre le mur et la tte de la vis. Pour le haut-parleur central et les haut-parleurs colonnes, mesurez la distance entre les vis avant de les fixer au mur. Pour le haut-parleur central : 126 mm (5 po) (BDV-E6100/E4100/E3100 uniquement) 110 mm (4 3/8 po) (BDV-E2100 uniquement)

Pour les haut-parleurs colonnes : 170 mm (6 3/4 po)

4 Suspendezlehaut-parleurla/auxvis.

Precaucin Consulte en una tienda de tornillos o a un instalador respecto al material de la

pared o de los tornillos que se deben utilizar. Use tornillos que sean apropiados para el material y la resistencia de la pared.

Puesto que una pared de yeso es especialmente frgil, instale los tornillos firmemente en una viga y fjelos a la pared. Instale los altavoces sobre una pared vertical y plana que est reforzada. Sony no se responsabiliza de accidentes o daos causados por una instalacin
