What is Bluetooth wireless technology? BluetoothTM wireless technology is a short-range wireless technology that enables wireless data communication between digital devices, such as a computer or digital camera. Bluetooth wireless technology operates within a range of about 10 meters (about 30 feet). Connecting two devices as necessary is common, but some devices can be connected to multiple devices at the same time. You do not need to use a cable for connection, nor is it necessary for the devices to face one another, such is the case with infrared technology. For example, you can use such a device in a bag or pocket. Bluetooth standard is an international standard supported by thousands of companies all over the world, and employed by various companies worldwide.

Due to the characteristic of Bluetooth wireless technology, the sound played on this product is slightly delayed from the sound played on the Bluetooth device during listening to the music or talking on the telephone.

Features This product is an audio kit comprising of a transmitter and headset using Bluetooth wireless technology. You can enjoy music wirelessly by transmitting the audio signals to a headset by connecting the Bluetooth transmitter to iPod (see page 3 for compatible iPod models) with the iPod connector* (30 pin). * iPod connector is a dedicated multiple connector for connecting accessories to
your iPod.
This products features are as follows: Wireless headset and transmitter for streaming of high-quality
stereo music from iPod. Transmits music to headset using Bluetooth wireless technology. Headset and transmitter have been pre-paired for easy connection
and use. Comfortable and lightweight headset ideal for music listening. Basic remote control operation (play, pause, etc.) of iPod
functions by included headset via Bluetooth connection. Transmitter power supplied from iPod so no additional battery or
charging is needed (for transmitter only). You can enjoy listening to music wirelessly by using the
transmitter and the headset separately to be used together with other Bluetooth devices*.
* The connected Bluetooth device is required to support A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile).

The headset contains a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery, which should be charged before using for the first time.
1 Connect the supplied AC power adaptor to the DC IN 3 V jack on the headset.

When the AC power adaptor is connected to an AC outlet, charging starts.
Tips If the AC power adaptor is connected to an AC outlet while the headset is
turned on, the headset will be turned off automatically. The headset cannot be turned on while charging.
2 Make sure that headset indicator (red) lights up while charging.
Charging is completed in about 3 hours* and the headset indicator (red) goes off automatically. * Time required for empty battery to recharge.

Caution If the headset detects a problem while charging, the headset indicator (red) may turn off, although charging is not complete. Check for the following causes:
Ambient temperature exceeds the range of 0 C 40 C (32 F 104 F). There is a problem with the battery.
In this case, charge again within the above-mentioned temperature range. If the problem persists, consult your nearest Sony dealer.
Notes If the battery is not used for a long time, battery may be quickly depleted,
however, after a few recharges, battery life will improve. If the life of the built-in rechargeable battery drops to half the normal length, the
battery should be replaced. Consult your nearest Sony dealer for replacement of the rechargeable battery.
Avoid exposure to temperature extremes, direct sunlight, moisture, sand, dust or mechanical shock. Never leave in a car parked in the sun.
Use only the supplied AC power adaptor. Do not use any other AC power adaptor.

Checking the remaining battery When pressing the POWER button while the headset is turned on, the headset indicator (red) flashes. You can check the remaining battery by the number of times the headset indicator (red) flashes.

1 Unfold the left and right neckband as illustrated.
2 Lift up and open up the remaining half of the neckband.
Notes Do not pull open this way.
Be careful not to hit your face or eyes with the top of the neckband.
Folding
1 Hold near the foldable part with both hands and lift up the left housing to fold it as illustrated. Fold the right housing in the same manner.
2 Close the folded left and right neckband.

1 Place the neckband on the neck. The headset with the POWER button is the right housing (for the right ear).
2 Lift up the headset slightly above the ear level, put down the neckband so that it hooks on your ears and put the ear pads on your ears.
3 Adjust the angle and position of the neckband so that the headset is fitted comfortably on your ears.

Connecting to an iPod Connect the transmitter to the dock connector port of an iPod (see page 3 for compatible iPod models) firmly.

To turn on the transmitter 1 Connect the transmitter to the iPod.
2 Press the power button of the transmitter for about 1 second to turn it on, or start to play back on iPod. When the transmitter turns on, the indicator flashes twice.
Note If the transmitter cannot turn on, operate the iPod.
To turn off the transmitter To turn off the transmitter, press and hold the transmitters power button for about 1 second. The transmitter indicator flashes once and the transmitter turns off. Tip Maximum communication time or standby time may vary depending on your iPod.

Notes To listen to music from the headphone jack of the iPod, disconnect the
transmitter from the iPod. While the transmitter is turned on, it consumes power from the iPod. We
recommend disconnect the transmitter from iPod when not using the Bluetooth function.
If the headphone is connected to the iPod while the iPod is playing back, it consumes power from iPod.
If you turn off the transmitter while the iPod is playing back, iPod will power off. It is not recommended to turn off iPod as the linkage will lost between the
transmitter and the Bluetooth receiving device. There is no need to charge the transmitter as it will receive power from the connected
iPod. It is recommended to check the iPods remaining battery before using.

Listening to music of the iPod You can listen to music of the iPod (see page 3 for compatible iPod models) on the headset.
1 Press and hold the POWER button on the headset for about 3 seconds. The headset indicator (blue) and headset indicator (red) flash together twice and the headset is turned on.
2 Connect the transmitter to the iPod then turn on the iPod and start playback on the iPod. The transmitter indicator status will vary as follows, and the Bluetooth connection between the transmitter and the headset is established. Transmitter indicator flashes twice: Power is on
Transmitter indicator flashes (at about 1-second intervals): Connecting in process
Transmitter indicator flashes twice slowly (at about 5-second intervals): Connected (Playback will start automatically) If the Bluetooth connection is not established within 5 minutes*, the transmitter automatically turns itself off. In this case, turn it on again by pressing and holding the power button on the transmitter for about 1 second. * iPod backlight may turn on in this 5 minutes.
Notes If the Bluetooth connection cannot be established with the headset paired
already, try pairing again (page 27). If playback cannot start automatically, try start playback on iPod. If you press and hold the power button on the transmitter for about 1
second, the transmitter will connect to the iPod and start playback automatically.

Tip You can control the volume on the headset. (The volume of the iPod is not changed.) You can also fast-forward or fast-rewind while playing back (page 20).
Notes Even if you control the volume on the iPod, sound from the headset will not
change. If the transmitter and the headset become out of range and the Bluetooth
connection terminates, repeat the procedure from step 1. Playback through a Bluetooth connection may cause noise, sound break, or
playback speed change depending on the location and the usage (page 33).

Controlling an iPod with the headset You can control an iPod (see page 3 for compatible iPod models) using the control button of the headset. Before starting remote control operation, check that step 1 and 2 of Listening to music of the iPod are completed (page 1).

Control for the iPod You can playback or pause the iPod by pressing the button on the headset. You can turn off the iPod and transmitter by pressing and holding the button on the headset for more than 2 seconds. Control music You can skip forward or backward each song on the iPod by pressing the / button. You can also fast-forward or fast-rewind songs by holding down the / button. Notes Even if you control the volume on the iPod, the volume of the headset does not
change. When operating the iPod by remote control, do not cover the transmitter with
your hands, etc. You may need to press the play/pause button twice depending on the Bluetooth
receiving device. You may need to press the play/pause button of the Bluetooth receiving device
twice when you operate the button on the iPod. Operation of the iPod with the transmitter by the Bluetooth receiving device will
vary depending on the Bluetooth receiving devices specification. When the iPod is playing a video or photo, remote control operation may
become unstable.
Tip When you press the pause button on the Bluetooth receiving device, the iPod goes to pause mode for 10 minutes and the iPod backlight is turns on and off at interval.
Do not cover the transmitter with hands.

Pairing with other Bluetooth devices What is pairing?
Bluetooth devices need to be paired with each other beforehand. Once Bluetooth devices are paired, there is no need for pairing again, except in the following cases: Pairing information is deleted after repair, etc. This product is paired with 9 or more receiving devices.
This product can be paired with up to 8 Bluetooth device respectively. If a new device is paired after 8 devices have been paired, the device whose latest connection time is the oldest among the 8 paired devices is replaced by the new one.
This product is initialized. All pairing information is deleted (page 38).
Pairing transmitter with other Bluetooth receiving devices
1 Turn on the power of iPod. (Make sure the iPod is in pause mode.)
2 Connect the transmitter to the iPod (page 16). 3 Place the transmitter and the Bluetooth receiving device to be
paired together within 1 m (3 ft).
4 Set the Bluetooth receiving device to enter Pairing in process. See the operating instructions supplied with the Bluetooth receiving device. Notes Passcode* of the transmitter is fixed at 0000, 1234, or 8888. Depending
on the Bluetooth receiving device, it may be necessary to input the passcode (in this case, 0000, 1234, or 8888). The transmitter cannot be paired with a Bluetooth receiving device whose passcode is not 0000, 1234, or 8888.
If the Bluetooth receiving device requires a passcode, input 0000.
* Passcode may be called Passkey, PIN code, PIN number, or Password.

5 Press and hold the power button of the transmitter for about 7 seconds or more to enter Pairing in process. After about 1 second, the transmitter indicator will flash twice, but keep pressing the power button. Notes When first power on the transmitter after initialized, the transmitter will
enter Pairing in process automatically. The pairing information is initialized if you press and hold the power button
for 15 seconds. The transmitter indicator lights up for 5 seconds before the initialization starts. Release the button immediately when the transmitter indicator lights up.
When the transmitter indicator flashes quickly, stop pressing. The transmitter enters Pairing in process. The transmitter indicator status will vary as follows, and pairing is established with the Bluetooth receiving device. The transmitter indicator flashes quickly: Pairing in process The transmitter indicator flashes (at about 1-second intervals) when responding to the Bluetooth receiving device: Connectable (Pairing successful) The transmitter indicator flashes (at about 5-second intervals): Connected Notes Pairing in process of the transmitter is released after about 5 minutes. If
pairing is not established within about 5 minutes, repeat the above procedure from step . iPod backlight may turn on in this 5 minutes.
To enter Pairing in process, you need to turn off the power of the transmitter first.
When not completed pairing Repeat the procedure from step 2.

To quit Pairing in process Press and hold the power button of the transmitter for about 1 second to turn off the transmitter.
Tip When pairing the transmitter with a number of Bluetooth receiving devices, repeat steps to for each device individually.
Note For using the Bluetooth function, it is required that the Bluetooth device on the other side is corresponding with the same profile as the transmitter. However, even if it is corresponding with the same profile, functions may differ depending on the specification of the Bluetooth device.

Pairing headset with other Bluetooth transmitting devices
1 Place the Bluetooth transmitting device to be paired together within 1 m (3 ft) of the headset.
2 Press and hold the POWER button of the headset for about 7 seconds or more to enter Pairing in process while the headset is turned off.
Release the POWER button when the headset indicator starts flashing quickly. The headset enters the pairing process.
3 Turning Bluetooth transmitting device to pairing standby mode. See the operating instructions supplied with the Bluetooth transmitting device. The list of detected devices appears on the display of the Bluetooth transmitting device. The headset is displayed as DR-BT21G. This headset indicator status will vary as follows, and pairing is established with the Bluetooth transmitting device.

Re-pairing the transmitter and the headset
1 Turn on the power of iPod. (Make sure the iPod is in pause mode.)
2 Connect the transmitter to the iPod (page 16). 3 Place the transmitter and the headset to be paired together
within 1 m (3 ft). 4 Press and hold the POWER button of the headset for about 7
seconds or more to enter Pairing in process while the headset is turned off. After about 3 seconds, the headset indicator (red) and the headset indicator (blue) will flash twice, but keep pressing the POWER button.

5 Press and hold the power button of the transmitter for about 7 seconds or more to enter Pairing in process. After about 1 second, the transmitter indicator will flash twice, but keep pressing the power button.
Notes When first power on the transmitter after initialized, the transmitter will
enter Pairing in process automatically. The pairing information is initialized if you press and hold the power button for 15
seconds. The transmitter indicator lights up for 5 seconds before the initialization starts. Release the button immediately when the transmitter indicator lights up.
Pairing in process is released after about 5 minutes. If pairing is not established within about 5 minutes, repeat the above procedure from step . iPod backlight may turn on in this 5 minutes.
To enter Pairing in process, you need to turn off the power of the transmitter first.

1 Press and hold the POWER button for about 3 seconds while the headset is turned off. The headset indicator (blue) and headset indicator (red) flash together twice, the headset turns on and then the headset tries to connect to the last Bluetooth mobile phone that was used. Note Do not press and hold the POWER button for more than 7 seconds, otherwise pairing mode is entered.
Tip The headset will stop trying to connect to the Bluetooth mobile phone after 1 minute. In such a case, press the multi function button to try to connect again.
When the headset does not connect to a Bluetooth mobile phone automatically You can make a connection by operating Bluetooth mobile phone or by operating the headset to connect the last connected Bluetooth device.

To make a connection by operating Bluetooth mobile phone
1 Make the Bluetooth connection (HFP or HSP*) from the Bluetooth mobile phone to the headset. Refer to the manual supplied with your Bluetooth mobile phone for operation details. The list of recognized devices appears on the display of the Bluetooth mobile phone. The headset is displayed as DR-BT21G. When you use the Bluetooth mobile phone features both HFP (Hands-free Profile) and HSP (Headset Profile), set to HFP. Note When connecting to a Bluetooth mobile phone which is different from the last connected one, make the connection following the above procedure.

To make a connection with the last connected Bluetooth device by operating the headset
1 Press the multi function button. The headset indicator (blue) and headset indicator (red) start flashing at the same time, and the headset performs the connection operation for about 5 seconds. Note When listening to music with this headset, a Bluetooth connection cannot be made with the multi function button.
To adjust the volume Press the VOL + or button.
Tips You cannot adjust the volume when not communicating. Volume level for calling and listening to music can be set independently.
Even if you change the volume while playing back the music, the volume of a call does not change.

To receive a call When an incoming call arrives, a ring tone will be heard from the headset.

Calling while playing back music The Bluetooth connection using HFP or HSP as well as A2DP is necessary to make a call while playing back music. For example, to make a call using a Bluetooth mobile phone while listening to music on a Bluetooth compatible music player, the headset needs to be connected to the mobile phone using HFP or HSP.
Make a Bluetooth connection between the headset and the device in use following the procedures outlined below. 1 Make a Bluetooth connection between the headset and the mobile
phone in use with HFP or HSP following the procedures outlined in Calling with headset (page 28).
2 Make a Bluetooth connection between the transmitter and the headset (page 18).
To make a call while playing back music 1 Press the multi function button while playing back music (page
31), or operate your Bluetooth mobile phone to make a telephone call. If no dial tone is heard on the headset, press and hold the multi function button for about 2 seconds.
To receive a call while playing back music When an incoming call arrives, the music pauses and the ring tone is heard from the headset.
1 Press the multi function button and talk. After finishing the call, press the multi function button. The headset is switched back to music playback.

shoulder bag. A device using 2.4 GHz frequency,
such as a wireless LAN device, cordless telephone, or microwave oven, is in use near this product.

On the supplied AC power adaptor Use the AC power adaptor supplied
with this product. Do not use any other AC power adaptor since it may cause the headset to malfunction.
Polarity of the plug
If you are not going to use the AC power adaptor for a long time, unplug it from the AC outlet. To remove the AC power adaptor from the wall outlet, grasp the adaptor plug itself; never pull the cord.
Others Be careful not to pinch your fingers
when folding the headset. Using the Bluetooth device may not

Troubleshooting If you run into any problems using this product, use the following checklist and read the product support information on our website. Should any problem persist, consult your nearest Sony dealer.

Press and hold the transmitters power button for about 1 second.
Check the remaining battery of the iPod. If the remaining battery is not enough, charge the iPod.
Reset your iPod. If your iPod have no content, add some content to

Charge the battery of the headset. The headset is not turned on while charging. Unplug
the headset from AC power adaptor and then turn on the headset.
No sound Check the connection between the transmitter and the iPod.
Check that both the transmitter and the headset are turned on.
Ensure that the transmitter is not too far from the headset, or this product is not receiving interference from a wireless LAN, other 2.4 GHz wireless device, or microwave oven.
Pair the transmitter and the headset again (page 27). Check that music is being played back by the iPod. Check that the volume of the headset is not set too
low.
Low sound level Turn up the volume of the headset as high as possible to the extent that sound is not distorted.
Cannot change the volume.

Distorted sound Turn down the volume of the headset to the point where the sound is no longer distorted.

Initializing
Initializing the transmitter You can reset the transmitter to its default and delete all pairing information.
1 Connect the transmitter to the iPod.
2 Press and hold the power button for more than about 15 seconds. During these 15 seconds, the transmitter indicator changes in sequence as follows: flash (at about 1 second intervals) for about 5 seconds flash quickly for about 5 seconds lights up for about 5 seconds flash 4 times Then, the transmitter is reset to default setting and all pairing information is deleted.
Note Do not operate your iPod while initializing the transmitter.
Initializing the headset You can reset the headset to its default (such as volume setting) and delete all pairing information.

Caractristiques Ce produit est un kit audio constitu dun transmetteur et dun casque utilisant la technologie sans fil Bluetooth. En raccordant le transmetteur Bluetooth liPod (voir page 3 pour connatre les modles diPod compatibles) laide du connecteur iPod* (30 broches), des signaux audio sont transmis un casque, vous permettant ainsi dcouter de la musique sans fil. * Le connecteur iPod est un connecteur multiple ddi, qui permet de raccorder
des accessoires votre iPod. Les caractristiques de ce produit sont les suivantes : Casque sans fil et transmetteur permettant la lecture en transit de
musique stro de haute qualit en provenance de liPod. Transmission de la musique au casque laide de la technologie
sans fil Bluetooth. Le casque et le transmetteur ont t pralablement jumels pour
en simplifier la connexion et lutilisation. Casque confortable et lger, idal pour couter de la musique. Commande distance des fonctions de base de liPod (lecture,
pause, etc.) laide du casque fourni via la connexion Bluetooth. Alimentation du transmetteur via liPod, de sorte quil nest pas
ncessaire dutiliser dautres piles ou de le recharger (pour le transmetteur uniquement).
Vous pouvez couter de la musique, sans fil, grce au transmetteur et au casque, vendus sparment, que vous pouvez utiliser avec dautres priphriques Bluetooth*.

Le casque contient une pile au lithium-ion rechargeable, qui doit tre charge avant la premire utilisation.

Conseils Le casque se met automatiquement hors tension si ladaptateur secteur est
raccord une prise secteur alors que le casque est sous tension. Ce casque ne peut pas tre mis sous tension pendant le chargement.
2 Assurez-vous que le tmoin (rouge) du casque sallume pendant la charge.
La pile est recharge en 3 heures environ* et le tmoin (rouge) du casque steint automatiquement. * Temps ncessaire pour recharger une pile vide.

Attention Si le casque dtecte un problme pendant la charge, le tmoin (rouge) du casque peut steindre mme si la charge nest pas termine. Vrifiez les points suivants :
La temprature ambiante nest pas comprise entre 0 C et 40 C (32 F et 104 F). Le problme vient de la pile.
Dans ce cas, mettez de nouveau la pile charger dans la plage de tempratures mentionne ci-dessus. Si le problme persiste, consultez votre revendeur Sony le plus proche.
Remarques Si la pile reste inutilise pendant une priode prolonge, elle peut spuiser
rapidement, mais aprs plusieurs charges, lautonomie de la pile samliore. Si lautonomie de la pile rechargeable intgre chute la moiti de la dure
normale, la pile doit tre remplace. Pour cela, contactez votre revendeur Sony le plus proche.
Evitez dexposer lappareil des tempratures extrmes, aux rayons directs du soleil, lhumidit, au sable, la poussire ou des chocs mcaniques. Ne le laissez jamais dans une voiture gare en plein soleil.
Utilisez uniquement ladaptateur secteur fourni. Nutilisez aucun autre adaptateur secteur.

Vrification de lautonomie restante de la pile Si vous appuyez sur la touche POWER lorsque le casque est sous tension, le tmoin (rouge) du casque clignote. Vous pouvez vrifier lautonomie restante de la pile grce au nombre de clignotements du tmoin (rouge) du casque.

1 Dpliez les parties gauche et droite du serre-nuque comme illustr.
2 Soulevez lautre moiti du serre-nuque pour louvrir.
Remarques Ne louvrez pas de cette faon.
Faites attention ce que la partie suprieure du serre-nuque ne vous heurte pas le visage ou les yeux.
Pliage
1 Tenez le casque par la partie repliable avec vos deux mains et relevez lcouteur gauche pour le replier comme illustr. Repliez lcouteur droit de la mme faon.
2 Rassemblez les parties gauche et droite du serrenuque replies.

1 Placez le serre-nuque sur votre nuque. Lcouteur dot de la touche POWER est lcouteur droit (pour loreille droite).
2 Soulevez le casque lgrement au-dessus du niveau de loreille, abaissez le serre-nuque de faon ce que le casque se place sur vos oreilles et placez les oreillettes sur vos oreilles.
3 Ajustez langle et la position du serre-nuque afin que le casque soit confortablement install sur vos oreilles.

Raccordement un iPod Raccordez correctement le transmetteur au port du connecteur dock de liPod (voir page 3 pour connatre les modles diPod compatibles).

Mise hors tension du transmetteur Appuyez sur linterrupteur du transmetteur et maintenez-le enfonc pendant 1 seconde environ pour le mettre hors tension. Le tmoin du transmetteur clignote une fois, puis le transmetteur se met hors tension. Conseil Le temps de communication maximum ou le temps pour passer en veille peut varier selon votre iPod.

Remarques Pour couter de la musique via la prise du casque du iPod, dbranchez le
transmetteur du iPod. Lorsque le transmetteur est sous tension, il consomme lnergie du iPod. Il est
recommand de dbrancher le transmetteur de liPod lorsque vous nutilisez pas la fonction Bluetooth.
Si le casque est raccord liPod en cours de lecture, il consomme lnergie de liPod. Si vous mettez le transmetteur hors tension lors de la lecture sur liPod, ce dernier est
mis hors tension. Il est dconseill de mettre liPod hors tension, car la liaison entre le transmetteur et
le priphrique de rception Bluetooth sera perdue. Il est inutile de recharger le transmetteur dans la mesure o il est aliment par le iPod
raccord. Il est recommand de vrifier lautonomie restante des piles du iPod avant de lutiliser.

Ecoute de fichiers de musique sur le iPod Vous pouvez couter de la musique enregistre sur liPod (voir page 3 pour connatre les modles diPod compatibles) sur le casque.
1 Appuyez sur la touche POWER du casque et maintenez-la enfonce pendant environ 3 secondes. Le tmoin (bleu) et le tmoin (rouge) du casque clignotent deux fois en mme temps et le casque est mis sous tension.
2 Raccordez le transmetteur liPod, puis mettez ce dernier sous tension et lancez la lecture sur liPod. Ltat du tmoin du transmetteur varie comme suit et la connexion Bluetooth entre le transmetteur et le casque est tablie. Le tmoin du transmetteur clignote deux fois : Le transmetteur est sous tension
Le tmoin du transmetteur clignote (toutes les 1 seconde environ) : Connexion en cours
Lindicateur du transmetteur clignote deux fois lentement ( des intervalles denviron 5 secondes) : Connect (la lecture dmarre automatiquement) Si la connexion Bluetooth nest pas tablie aprs environ 5 minutes*, le transmetteur se met automatiquement hors tension. Dans ce cas, mettez-le de nouveau sous tension en maintenant linterrupteur du transmetteur enfonc pendant environ 1 seconde. * Le rtroclairage de liPod peut sclairer pendant ces 5 minutes.
Remarques Si la connexion Bluetooth ne peut pas tre tablie avec le casque dj appari,
recommencez le pairage (page 29). Si la lecture ne dmarre pas automatiquement, essayez de lancer la lecture
partir de liPod. Si vous appuyez sur linterrupteur du transmetteur et que vous le maintenez
enfonc pendant environ 1 seconde, le transmetteur se connecte liPod et la lecture dmarre automatiquement.

Remarques Mme si vous rglez le volume du iPod, le son du casque ne change pas. Lorsque le transmetteur et le casque sont hors de porte et que la connexion
Bluetooth prend fin, recommencez la procdure partir de ltape 1. La lecture via une connexion Bluetooth peut entraner des parasites, des
interruptions du son ou une modification de la vitesse de lecture selon lemplacement et lutilisation (page 36).

Commande dun iPod laide du casque Vous pouvez commander liPod (voir page 3 pour connatre les modles diPod compatibles) laide de la touche de commande situe sur le casque. Avant dutiliser la tlcommande, vrifiez que les tapes 1 et de la section Ecoute de fichiers de musique sur le iPod sont termines (page 1).

Commande du iPod Vous pouvez lancer la lecture sur liPod ou effectuer une pause en appuyant sur la touche du casque. Vous pouvez mettre liPod et le transmetteur hors tension en appuyant sur la touche du casque et en la maintenant enfonce pendant plus de 2 secondes.
Commande de la musique Vous pouvez sauter vers lavant ou vers larrire chaque chanson sur le iPod en appuyant sur la touche /. Vous pouvez galement avancer ou reculer rapidement en maintenant la touche / enfonce. Remarques Mme si vous rglez le volume du iPod, le volume du casque ne change pas. Lorsque vous commandez le iPod avec la tlcommande, ne couvrez pas le transmetteur
avec vos mains, etc. En fonction du priphrique de rception Bluetooth, il peut savrer ncessaire dappuyer
deux fois sur la touche Lecture/Pause. Il peut savrer ncessaire dappuyer deux fois sur la touche Lecture/Pause du priphrique
de rception Bluetooth lorsque vous utilisez la touche de liPod. Lutilisation de liPod avec le transmetteur via le priphrique de rception Bluetooth varie
en fonction des caractristiques techniques de ce dernier. Lorsque liPod lit une vido ou une photo, le fonctionnement de la tlcommande peut
devenir instable.
Conseil Lorsque vous appuyez sur la touche Pause du priphrique de rception Bluetooth, liPod passe en mode de pause pendant 10 minutes et son rtroclairage sclaire, puis steint alternativement.
Ne couvrez pas le transmetteur avec vos mains.

Pairage avec dautres priphriques Bluetooth
Quest-ce que le pairage ?
Les priphriques Bluetooth doivent pralablement tre apparis. Une fois que les priphriques Bluetooth sont apparis, il nest plus ncessaire de procder cette opration par la suite, lexception des cas suivants : Lorsque les informations de pairage sont supprimes aprs une
rparation, etc. Lorsque ce produit est appari avec 9 priphriques de rception
ou plus. Ce produit peut tre appari avec maximum 8 priphriques Bluetooth, respectivement. Si un nouveau priphrique est appari alors que 8 autres priphriques le sont dj, le priphrique dont la date de connexion est la plus ancienne parmi les 8 est remplac par le nouveau.
Lorsque lappareil est rinitialis. Toutes les informations de pairage sont supprimes (page 42).
Pairage du transmetteur avec dautres priphriques de rception Bluetooth
1 Mettez liPod sous tension. (Assurez-vous que liPod est en mode de pause.)
2 Connectez le transmetteur au iPod (page 17).
3 Placez le transmetteur et le priphrique de rception Bluetooth apparier dans un rayon de 1 m.

ou 8888 . Selon le priphrique de rception Bluetooth, il peut savrer ncessaire de saisir le code dauthentification (dans ce cas 0000 , 1234 ou 8888 ). Le transmetteur ne peut pas tre appari avec un priphrique de rception Bluetooth dont le code dauthentification nest pas 0000 , 1234 ou 8888 .
Si un code dauthentification est requis sur le priphrique de rception Bluetooth, saisissez 0000 .
* Le code dauthentification peut galement tre nomm Cl dauthentification , Code PIN , Nombre PIN ou Mot de passe .
5 Appuyez sur linterrupteur du transmetteur et maintenez-le enfonc pendant plus de 7 secondes environ pour passer en mode Pairage en cours . Aprs 1 seconde environ, le tmoin du transmetteur clignote deux fois. Maintenez linterrupteur enfonc. Remarques Lors de la premire mise sous tension du transmetteur aprs rinitialisation,
le transmetteur passe automatiquement en mode Pairage en cours . Les informations de pairage sont rinitialises si vous appuyez sur la touche
dalimentation et que vous la maintenez enfonce pendant 15 secondes Lindicateur du transmetteur sallume pendant 5 secondes avant le dbut de la rinitialisation. Relchez immdiatement la touche lorsque lindicateur d transmetteur sallume.
Lorsque le tmoin du transmetteur clignote rapidement, relchez linterrupteur. Le transmetteur passe en mode Pairage en cours . Ltat du tmoin du transmetteur varie comme suit et le pairage est tabli avec le priphrique de rception Bluetooth.

Remarque Pour utiliser la fonction Bluetooth, il est ncessaire que lautre priphrique Bluetooth prsente le mme profil que le transmetteur. Cependant, mme si les profils correspondent, les fonctions peuvent tre diffrentes selon les spcifications du priphrique Bluetooth.

1 Placez le priphrique de transmission Bluetooth apparier dans un rayon de 1 m partir du casque.
2 Appuyez sur la touche POWER du casque et maintenez-la enfonce pendant au moins 7 secondes pour passer en mode Pairage en cours lorsque le casque est hors tension.
Relchez la touche POWER lorsque le tmoin du casque commence clignoter rapidement. Le casque commence la procdure de pairage.
3 Faites passer le priphrique de transmission Bluetooth en mode de veille de pairage. Reportez-vous au mode demploi fourni avec le priphrique de transmission Bluetooth. La liste des priphriques dtects apparat sur lcran du priphrique de transmission Bluetooth. Le casque est identifi par DR-BT21G . L tat du tmoin du casque varie comme suit et le pairage avec le priphrique de transmission Bluetooth est tabli.

1 Maintenez la touche POWER enfonce pendant environ 3 secondes lorsque le casque est hors tension. Le tmoin (bleu) et le tmoin (rouge) du casque clignotent deux fois en mme temps, puis le casque se met sous tension et tente de se connecter au dernier tlphone portable Bluetooth utilis. Remarque Ne maintenez pas la touche POWER enfonce pendant plus de 7 secondes, sinon lappareil passe en mode de pairage.
Conseil Le casque nessaie plus de se connecter au tlphone portable Bluetooth aprs 1 minute. Dans ce cas, appuyez sur la touche multifonctions pour essayer de vous connecter nouveau.

1 Etablissez la connexion Bluetooth (HFP ou HSP*) depuis le tlphone portable Bluetooth vers ce casque. Ce casque est identifi par DR-BT21G . Lorsque vous utilisez un tlphone portable Bluetooth qui possde un profil HFP (Handsfree Profile) et HSP (Headset Profile), rglez-le sur HFP.
Remarque Lors de la connexion dun autre tlphone portable Bluetooth que le dernier connect, tablissez la connexion en suivant la procdure cidessus.

Passer un appel tout en coutant de la musique La connexion Bluetooth avec le profil HFP ou HSP ainsi que le profil A2DP sont ncessaires pour passer un appel tout en coutant de la musique. Par exemple, pour passer un appel avec le tlphone portable Bluetooth tout en coutant de la musique sur un lecteur de musique compatible Bluetooth, le casque doit tre connect au tlphone portable avec le profil HFP ou HSP. Etablissez une connexion Bluetooth entre le casque et le priphrique en cours dutilisation en suivant la procdure dcrite ci-dessous. 1 Etablissez une connexion Bluetooth entre le casque et le
tlphone portable en cours dutilisation avec le profil HFP ou HSP en suivant les procdures dcrites dans la section Appel laide du casque (page 31).
2 Etablissez une connexion Bluetooth entre le transmetteur et le casque (page 19).
Pour passer un appel tout en coutant de la musique 1 Appuyez sur la touche multifonctions tout en coutant de la
musique (page 34) ou utilisez votre tlphone portable Bluetooth pour passer un appel tlphonique. Si aucune tonalit dappel nest audible sur le casque, appuyez sur la touche multifonctions et maintenez-la enfonce pendant environ 2 secondes.

doigts lorsque vous pliez le casque. Lappareil Bluetooth peut ne pas

Rechargez la pile du casque. Le casque ne se met pas sous tension pendant la

Pas de son Vrifiez la connexion entre le transmetteur et le iPod.
Vrifiez que le transmetteur et le casque sont sous tension.
