Attaching the cradle to your car
1 Remove the sheet.
2 Rotate the suction cup.
Select the installation location on the windshield.
Choose a clean, smooth surface with an unobstructed view of the sky.
4 Press firmly against the windshield, then lock the lever.

Note Clean the surface of the suction cup with a soft, damp, lint-free cloth if it becomes dirty and attachment strength weakens.
To install on the dashboard
Clean the attachment surface of the dashboard, apply the on dash plate, then attach the cradle. The following steps are the same as for installing on the windshield.
Note Choose the attachment location carefully before applying the on dash plate. The on dash plate cannot be reapplied once removed.

Attaching the unit to the cradle
1 Align the slot of the unit onto the rail of the cradle, then push the unit back until it clicks into place.

Connect the unit to the cigarette lighter socket with the supplied car battery adapter.

Detaching the unit
Press and hold RELEASE to release the unit.

Detaching the cradle
IMPORTANT
Follow the instructions below to avoid damaging the surface of the suction cup.
1 Release the lever.
2 Use the tab to detach the cradle from surface.

Turning on the unit
1 Park your car in a safe, open place where the unit has a clear view of the sky.
2 Press and hold /.
Follow the on-screen instructions of the Startup Configuration Wizard before the first use.
4 Read the warning, then touch Agree.
5 Press VOICE/POS.
6 Wait until the current position calculation completes via GPS signals.
The icon will turn red to indicate sufficient GPS signal strength.
Current position icon
Gray: Position not fixed (insufficient signals).
Orange: Reception temporarily interrupted.
Red: Position fixed.
Notes
The calculation may take as long as 10 minutes the first time you use the unit. The default position is displayed on the map until the calculation is complete.

1 Press MENU, then touch Enter Address.
2 Enter the house number.
Touch Next after entering the house number. To change the state, touch State before touching Next.
Set the street name.
Enter the name, touch Search, then select from the list.

Enter the name, touch Search, then select from the list.
5 Touch Go.
Tips
By entering just the first few letters of a street, city, or state name, its candidate list will be generated after touching Search.
The state can be set by entering its standard 2-letter abbreviation (e.g., NY for New York).

Map scrolling mode
1 Touch the map to switch to the scrolling mode.
2 Place the desired point into the crosshair.
To scroll a map Drag the screen.
To move the desired point to the center of the screen Touch the point.
To pan the map Touch and hold the center of the crosshair until the beep sounds, then drag it in the desired direction.

Fixation du support dans votre voiture
1 Retirez la feuille.
2 Faites pivoter la ventouse.
Slectionnez lemplacement dinstallation sur le pare-brise.
Choisissez une surface propre et lisse offrant une vue dgage sur le ciel.
4 Appuyez-la fermement contre le pare-brise, puis verrouillez le levier.

Remarque
Nettoyez la surface de la ventouse avec un chiffon doux, humide non pelucheux si elle est sale et que la fixation est moins fiable.
Installation sur le tableau de bord
Nettoyez la surface de fixation du tableau de bord, appliquez la plaque pour tableau de bord, puis fixez le support. Les tapes suivantes sont identiques la procdure dinstallation sur le pare-brise.
Remarque Choisissez soigneusement lemplacement de fixation avant la mise en place de la plaque pour tableau de bord. La plaque pour tableau de bord ne peut plus tre remise en place une fois quelle a t retire.

Mise sous tension de lappareil
1 Garez votre voiture dans un endroit sr, en plein air, avec une vue dgage sur le ciel.
2 Appuyez sur la touche / et maintenez-la enfonce.
Avant la premire utilisation de lappareil, suivez les instructions lcran de lAssistant de Configuration de Dmarrage.
4 Lisez lavertissement, puis touchez Jaccepte .
5 Appuyez sur VOICE/POS.
6 Attendez que le calcul de la position actuelle soit termin grce aux signaux GPS.
Licne devient rouge pour indiquer une puissance suffisante du signal GPS. Icne de position actuelle
Gris : position non dtermine (signaux insuffisants). Orange : rception temporairement interrompue. Rouge : position dtermine.
Remarques
Le calcul peut prendre jusqu 10 minutes la premire fois que vous utilisez lappareil. La position par dfaut saffiche sur la carte jusqu ce que le calcul soit termin.

1 Touchez la carte pour passer en mode de dfilement.
2 Placez le point de votre choix dans le rticule.
Pour faire dfiler une carte Faites glisser lcran.
Pour dplacer le point de votre choix au centre de lcran Touchez le point.
Pour afficher la carte en panoramique Touchez le centre du rticule et maintenez la pression jusquau bip sonore, puis faites-la glisser dans la direction souhaite.

Elija una superficie limpia y uniforme que no obstaculice la visin del cielo.

2 Mantenga presionado /.
Siga las instrucciones del asistente de configuracin de instalacin que aparecen en pantalla antes de utilizarlo por primera vez.
4 Lea la advertencia y, a continuacin, toque Estoy de acuerdo.
5 Presione VOICE/POS.
6 Espere mientras finaliza el clculo de la posicin actual a travs de las seales GPS.
