Before first use it is necessary to thoroughly wash the accessories (beater/kneading attachments and the rotating bowl) in hot water using kitchen detergent. Then rinse them with drinking water and dry thoroughly with a fine wiping cloth.

Before attaching attachments to the appliance, removing or replacing them, ensure that the appliance is turned off and disconnected from the power socket.

Before putting the appliance into operation, check that it is correctly assembled and that the stand arm is in the horizontal position.

Allow hot liquids or food to cool down before mixing them.

Do not tilt out the stand arm while mixing. Do not touch the rotating attachments and ensure that foreign items such as clothing or hair are kept at a safe distance. Do not put your hands or items, such as kitchen knives, forks or wooden spoons into the bowl. An injury could occur or the appliance could be damaged.

If food is sticking to the attachments or the inside of the bowl, turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the power socket. Use a spatula to clean the attachments and the sides of the bowl.

Do not turn the appliance on when empty. The incorrect use of the appliance may negatively affect its lifetime.

Always turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the power socket if you will not be using it and if you are leaving it without supervision, before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.

Do not allow children to use the appliance without supervision. If you are not using the appliance store it out of reach of children. If children get hold of the appliance without adult supervision, a child could be injured or the appliance could be damaged.

Before storing the appliance, check that the stand arm is tilted to the horizontal position.

Do not place the appliance on an electric or gas stove or in its vicinity, do not place it in the vicinity of an open fire or an appliance that is a source of heat.

Do not disconnect the appliance from the power socket by pulling on the power cord. This could damage the power cord or the power socket. Disconnect the cord from the power socket by gently pulling the plug of the power cord.

BEFORE FIRST USE

1. Take the appliance and its accessories out of the packaging materials. 2. Thoroughly clean all parts (beater, kneading attachments and the rotating bowl) that come into

contact with food in hot water using kitchen detergent. Then rinse them with drinking water and dry thoroughly with a fine wiping cloth.

ASSEMBLING THE APPLIANCE

1. Select the type of attachment you wish to use. Insert the attachment with the cog wheel into the right opening on the underside of the motor unit. Press it into the motor unit until it clicks into the safe position. In the same way insert the second attachment into the left opening.

Caution: Do not combine the beaters and the kneading attachments. Only use the same type of attachments at the same time.

2. Press the button 0 to release the lock on the arm and using the other hand tilt out the arm 9. 3. Insert the bowl 5 into the stand 6. 4. Press the button 0 and tilt down the arm 9 into the horizontal position. 5. Insert the motor unit 7 with the inserted attachments on to the tilting arm 9 and lightly push

towards the arm until you hear a click. The motor unit is securely attached to the arm when it is not possible to lift it independently.

Note: The beater can be used independently without the stand. In such a case setup the appliance according to the instructions in point 1 and continue to chapter Operating the Appliance. It will be necessary to hold the motor unit in your hand during operation.

OPERATING THE APPLIANCE

1. Place ingredients into the bowl 5. 2. Connect the power cord of the motor unit 7 to an electrical power socket. Using the switch 2 set

the desired speed in the range of 15. The TURBO pulse button 1 is used for a short increase to maximum speed. The bowl on the stand rotates during operation. This ensures that ingredients are evenly mixed.

Note: To prevent ingredients from splattering out of the bowl, select an initial speed level of 1 or 2. The TURBO button is will not work if the switch 2 is set to position 0.

Caution: Do not hold down the TURBO pulse button for longer than a minute. The appliance must be stopped for several minutes after it has been running continuously for 5 minutes.

3. After you have finished mixing, turn off the motor unit 7 by sliding switch 2 to position 0. Disconnect the power cord from the el. power socket. Press button 0 and tilt out the arm 9.

Press button 8 to release the lock of the motor unit 7 and with the other hand remove the motor unit 7. To release the attachments press button 3 and remove the attachments.

Note: If switch 2 is in position 1-5, the button 3 is blocked for safety reasons and the attachments cannot be released.

SELECTING ATTACHMENTS AND SPEEDS

Beater attachments These are used to prepare batter dough, mashed potatoes, whipped cream, whipped egg whites

and creams. Do not use the beater attachments to mix yeast dough.

Kneading attachments These are used for kneading yeast dough and dough for noodles, for mixing minced meat, spreads

and puff dough.

Selecting a speed

Level 1 suitable as the starting speed for mixing a larger amount of ingredients or dry ingredients.

Level 2 suitable for processing liquid ingredients and for mixing salad dressings.

Level 3 suitable for mixing ingredient when preparing cakes, biscuits and bread.

Level 4 suitable for whipping up butter or sugar when preparing sweets, desserts, etc.

Level 5 suitable for whipping eggs, sauces, creams, etc.

TURBO pulse button The TURBO pulse button is equivalent to speed level 5 and is used for a short increase to maximum speed.

Note: The above processing times are only a reference. To prevent ingredients from splattering out of the bowl, select an initial speed level of 1 or 2. Later set a higher speed based on requirements. For easier mixing of dough we recommended soft margarine or butter.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Always turn off the appliance before cleaning it by sliding the switch to position 0 and disconnecting it from the power socket.

It is necessary to thoroughly clean the beaters or kneading attachments after every use in hot water and kitchen detergent. Then rinse them with drinking water and dry thoroughly with a fine wiping cloth. The beaters and kneading attachments are intended for short term contact with food (including beverages), i.e. max. 4 hours.

Clean the bowl using hot water and kitchen detergent. Then rinse it with drinking water and dry with a fine wiping cloth.

To clean the motor unit use a cloth dipped in a weak detergent solution. Never submerge the motor unit in water or in any other liquid!

For cleaning do not use thinners or solvents, or cleaning agents causing abrasion. Otherwise the surface treatment of the appliance could be damaged.

STORAGE

If you will not be using the appliance, store it in a dry place out of children's reach. Before storing the appliance, check that the stand arm is tilted to the horizontal position.

You can use the cardboard box of the appliance for storing the appliance (after first disassembling it).
