4. OPERATION 4.1. FILLING WITH FUEL/OIL MIXTURE

WARNING: Turn engine off, disconnect the spark plug and allow to cool before re-filling with fuel or making any adjustment.

WARNING! Petrol is highly flammable and petrol vapour is explosive. 4.1.1. Ensure the 2-stroke petrol post driver is set on a horizontal surface strong enough to prevent it from sinking. 4.1.2. Prepare the fuel/oil mixture by mixing at a ratio of 25:1 = fuel:oil. 4.1.3. Remove the fuel tank filler cap, check the level of the fuel and refill with the recommended fuel if necessary.

8 DO NOT over fill the fuel tank, always leave room for the fuel to expand. NOTE: Read and fully understand the safety instructions before using this driver. 4.2. Unscrew piling socket retainer and fit appropriate piling socket (fig.1). Refit retainer before use. 4.3. When initially starting the engine from cold, prime the unit by depressing the priming bulb three or four times (fig.1). 4.4. When the engine is started from cold for the first time, close the choke (fig.1). 4.5. Sharply pull the starter pull cord (fig.1) to its extent and allow it to rewind gently under control. The engine should start after 2-4 pulls. 4.6. When running, re-open the choke and allow to idle until running smoothly before using. 4.7. Once running smoothly, close the choke and squeeze the throttle lever to achieve the required speed. 4.8. Optimum running speed is mid-range.

8 DO NOT run engine at high speed when not being used as a driver. 4.9. To turn the engine off, slide the engine cut off switch (fig.1) to the stop position. Reset switch after use or the engine will not fire.
