3. DIRECTIONS FOR USE 3.1. Fit the respirator and check leak tightness BEFORE entering the contaminated area. 3.2. Wear the respirator for the whole duration of the exposure to contaminants. 3.3. UsetherespiratorinaccordancewithapplicableHealthandSafetyRegulations. 3.4. Discard the respirator and replace with a new one if: -therespiratorisremovedwhileinacontaminatedarea. -excessivecloggingoftherespiratorcausesbreathingdifficultyordiscomfort. -therespiratorbecomesdamaged. -(forrespiratorsprotectingagainstvapours;discardifthesmellofvapourspresentbecomesdetectable). 3.5. Leave the contaminated area if dizziness, irritation or other distress occurs. 3.6. Only for single use. No maintenance necessary. DO NOT store and/or reuse after single use. 3.7. Discard the respirator after single use (one shift maximum).

4. FITTING INSTRUCTIONS 4.1. Cup the respirator in the hand, allowing the headbands to hang freely. 4.2. Hold the respirator under chin with nose piece facing outwards. 4.3. Place the lower headband around the neck below the ears. Holding the respirator against the face with one hand, place the top

headband above the ears, around the crown of the head. 4.4. Respiratorswithadjustableheadbandsonly:whilemaintainingthepositionoftherespirator,adjusttensionbypullingtabofeach

headband.(Tensionmaybedecreasedbypushingoutonthebackofthebuckle). 4.5. Mouldthenoseareatotheshapeoftheface,runningthefingertipsofbothhandsfromthetopofthenosepiecedownbothsides

whilst pressing inwards.

CHECK FOR LEAK TIGHTNESS AS FOLLOWS: -Placebothhandsovertherespiratorandexhalesharply,positivepressureshouldbeinsidetherespirator.Ifairisfeltescaping aroundtheedgesreadjusttherespiratorbytighteningthenosepieceand/orincreasingthetensionoftheheadbands. -Repeattheprocedureuntilsatisfactoryfacefithasbeenachieved. IMPORTANT Inthecaseofrespiratorswithnonadjustableheadbandsiftheheadbandsaretooloosetensioncanbeincreasedby tying a small knot in the headband.

5. STORAGE 5.1. Keepunusedrespiratorsintheirclosedboxandstoreandtransportinadry,non-contaminatedareabetween-20+50Catrelative

humiditybelow75%.

6. EXPIRY DATE 6.1. Period of obsolescence is 3 years from date of manufacture (refer to manufacturing and expiry date on packaging.

7. LIMITATIONS TO USE 8 DO NOT use these respirators or enter/stay in an area where:

-oxygenconcentrationislessthan19%. -contaminantsortheirconcentrationsareimmediatelydangeroustolifeorhealth. -particulateconcentrationsexceedlevelsfixedbyapplicablehealthandsafetyregulationsorprotectionfactorxNPFwhicheveris lower (Nominal protection factors 4.5 for FFP1, 12.5 for FFP2 and 50 for FFP3).

8. APPLICATIONS TABLE
