Unauthorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty. 9 locate and fix the air hose reel in a suitable working area, ensure that the correct fixings are used to secure the unit to the wall. 8 Do Not position the hose in direct sun light, or in areas of extreme heat or cold. 8 Do Not mount inside spray booth/oven. 9 ensure that there is adequate lighting. WaRNiNG! ensure maximum air pressure is not exceeded. WaRNiNG! Do Not over extend the hose as this will cause the mechanism to malfunction, preventing the hose from retracting. 9 Keep extended air hose away from heat, oil and sharp edges. 9 Check hose for wear before each use and ensure all connections are secure. 9 Keep the unwound air hose away from wet, damp, oily surfaces. WaRNiNG! Always wear approved eye protection when operating the air hose reel. 9 maintain correct balance and footing. ensure the floor is not slippery and wear non-slip shoes. 9 Remove ill fitting clothing. Remove ties, watches, rings, other loose jewellery and contain and/or tie back long hair. 9 Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the working area. 8 Do Not operate the air hose reel if any parts are damaged or missing as this may cause failure and/or personal injury. 8 Do Not use the air hose reel for any purpose other than that for which it is designed. 8 Do Not yank the hose from the air supply. 8 Do Not operate the air hose reel when you are tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication. 8 Do Not direct air from the air hose at yourself or others. 9 When not in use, ensure the air supply is turned off and tools disconnected. disconnect from the air supply and retract the hose into

4. MouNtiNG WaRNiNG! ensure the hose is disconnected from the air supply. Do Not position the hose in direct sun light or in areas of

extreme heat or cold. 4.1. ensure that the structure to which the air hose is to be fixed is of sound construction and that the securing point will hold the working

strain of the hose when in use. 4.2. To wall mount the reel, first remove the wall mounting bracket (fig.1A) from the reel, pull out the bracket retaining screws (fig.1B) to

release the bracket. Position the bracket on the wall surface and mark out the mounting holes, having checked that the main body will turn sufficiently to allow the hose to be extended without rubbing on either side of the air hose housing.

4.3. drill the holes larger than the screws that will be used to secure the hose reel. Insert wall plugs into the holes and screw mount the bracket and reattach the hose reel.

4.4. Before use, check that all fixings are safe and secure, and that the hose extends and retracts with ease.

5. opeRatioN 5.1. extending the hose 5.1.1. Pull the hose out slowly to the length required, release the tension and the hose should lock into position, if it starts to retract then

pull the hose out slightly further to engage the locking mechanism of the reel. WaRNiNG! Do Not over extend the hose as this will cause the mechanism to malfunction, preventing the hose from retracting.

5.2. Retracting the hose 5.2.1. To release the hose and allow it to automatically rewind, pull the hose out from the locked position and then release the tension on

the hose. WaRNiNG! The reel tension is factory set, if any adjustment is required, contact an authorised service agent.

6. MaiNteNaNce & stoRaGe 6.1. Maintenance

WaRNiNG! Before attempting maintenance or inspection, vent any pressure remaining in the hose. 6.1.1. To ensure reliable operation, clean the hose and casing regularly. Do Not spray or wet the unit, only clean with a cloth and warm

water. Do Not use solvents or detergents, as these may cause permanent damage. 6.1.2. The hose reel is lubricated for life and does not require special maintenance. If the casing needs to be opened, consult your

nearest authorised service agent. WaRNiNG! Do Not attempt to loosen, or remove any casing screws.

6.1.3. Replacement of the supply hose should be carried out by skilled personnel only, consult your nearest authorised service agent. 6.2. storage 6.2.1. ensure that the hose reel is clean and dry. Place it in a dark, dry, childproof location, where the temperature will remain reasonably

stable. Do Not store in a nylon, or plastic bag, as this will encourage condensation.
