4. Air suPPly 4.1. Recommended hook up is shown in fig.1. 4.2. Ensure the air valve is in the Off position before connecting to the air supply. 4.3. You will require an air pressure of 7 bar.

wArning: ensure the air supply is clean and does not exceed pressures specified in these Instructions. Too high an air pressure and/or unclean air will shorten the drainer life due to excessive wear, and may be dangerous.

4.4. drain the air tank daily. Water in the air line may damage the drainer. 4.5. Clean the air inlet filter screen weekly. 4.6. line pressure should be increased to compensate for unusually long air hoses.

5. AsseMbly 5.1. Fit the venturi pump and gauge assembly to the reservoir tank, ensure the gasket is properly positioned. Tighten the nut using a

suitable wrench (fig.2.1). 5.2. Connect the drain hose with the ball valve adaptor on the base of the reservoir (fig.3.1). Secure the hose with the hose clamp

provided. 5.3. Connect the drain pan (fig.4.1) to the ball valve (fig.4.2). Insert the assembled group into the reservoir tank and tighten the ring

sleeve (fig.4D). Adjust the height and lock in position using the hand wheel lock (fig.4E)

6. oPerAtion wArning: ensure that you read, understand and apply the safety instructions in Section 1.

6.1. DrAining: 6.1.1. Close ball valve 2 (fig.6.2) and open valve 6 (fig.6.6). 6.1.2. Position the oil drainer beneath a car situated on a lift and drain the waste oil. 6.2. suction: 6.2.1. Open valve (fig.6.4) completely by turning it counter-clockwise. Close the suction

valve (fig.6.1), close air valve (fig.6.5), and close the drain valves (fig.6.2 and fig.6.6). 6.2.2. Connect the compressed air at 7bar (100psi) to quick coupling (fig.5.2), open the ball

valve (fig.5.1) and valve (fig.5.4). Air will flow out of the muffler (fig.5.3). 6.2.3. When the arrow of the vacuum gauge approaches the red field, after 2.5 - 3

minutes, close the valve (Fig.5.1) then shut off the compressed air. The unit is now depressurized and ready for use.

note: oil should be removed when hot (70-80C). Keep hands, face and body protected using suitable personal protective equipment (PPe). The suction capacity of the unit is equal to 2/3 of its reservoir capacity. 6.2.4. With the engine still warm, remove the dipstick and insert the largest probe as far

down as it will go. 6.2.5. Connect the suction hose to the probe. 6.2.6. Open valve (fig.6.1), keeping the probe dipped in oil. As soon as the sump is emptied, close valve (fig.6.1). note: It is also possible to suck hot waste oil while keeping the air connected to the device.

6.3.1. Make sure valves (fig.7.3,4 and fig.8.5) are closed. 6.3.2. Open valve (fig.8.6). 6.3.3. Connect compressed air (0.5Bar/7.25psi) to quick

coupling (fig.7.2). open the valve (fig.7.1) until all the fluids have been transferred from the reservoir.

6.3.4. disconnect from air supply and vent any pressure remaining in the reservoir by opening drainpan valve (fig.8.5) and/or air valve (fig.7.2).

note: The unit storage tank has been fitted with a safety valve factory calibrated to 0.5Bar/7.25psi. note: Some cars have a built-in suction probe. In this case, check vehicle manufacturers data to determine the correct suction probe to be used (fig.9).
