MASKING PAPER DISPENSER 1 x 450mm ROLL MODEL NO: MK65.V2
1. SAFETY Ensure the dispenser is on a reasonably flat, level floor or wall mounted securely before loading. Ensure that all fittings are tight and secure. Be aware that the paper cutting blades are sharp, handle with care. DO NOT use the dispenser for any purpose other than that for which it is designed. DO NOT sit or stand on the dispenser.
2. CONTENTS Check the contents against the list below and if any items are missing or damaged contact your supplier immediately. 3. ASSEMBLY Note: NumbersinbracketsrefertoitemnumbersinthePartsList. 3.1. If dispenser is to be free standing fit the four feet (16) to the side frames (1). 3.2. If the dispenser is to be bench or wall mounted fit the two bases (9) to the rear legs of the side frames(1),using5/16x1-1/2screws(15),1/4washers(14)and1/4nuts(13).Fittwoofthefeet(16)to the front legs of the side frames (1). 3.3. Attachthetophandle(2)tothetopofthesideframes(1)using5/16x1-1/2screws(12)and5/16
washers (11). 3.4. Attachthetwosideframes(1)tothecrosstube(4)using5/16x1-1/2screws(12)and5/16washers(11).
DO NOT fully tighten screws at this stage. 3.5. Attach paper spring (17) loops to either end of the paper cutter (3), as shown in fig.1. 3.6. Fit paper cutter (3) to upper holesinfrontlegsofsideframes(1)using1/4x1-1/2screws(15), 1/4washers(14)and1/4nuts(13). 3.7. Tightenallscrews/nuts. 3.8. Insert1/4x3-1/2bolts(22)throughfrontlegsofsideframes(1)andtighteninplaceusing1/4washers(14)and1/4nuts(13). 3.9. Threadawingnut(18)ontoeachofbolts(22)withthewingstowardstheframeleg. 3.10. Slidewasher(14)andhub(21)ontoeachbolt(22)andthenfittapereels(20)ontohubs(21)withopensidestowardssideframe(1)legs. 3.11. Retaintapereelswithwasher(14)andwingnut(18). 3.12. Fitpaperwashers(6),paperbarspring(23)andpaperretainers(5)topaperbar(8)asshowninfig.2.Insert3/16x1/2screws(7)
into paper retainers (5). 3.13. Locatepaperbar(8)betweenbarsofsideframes(1)andretainwithknob(24).
4. OPERATION 4.1. Removepaperbar(8)fromframeandremovewashers(6),springs(23)andretainers(5). 4.2. Slide paper bar (8) through centre of masking paper roll so that, when reinstalled in frame, paper will come from top of roll towards front of dispenser. 4.3. Replacewashers(6),springs(23)andretainers(5),asshowninfig.2,ateachendofroll. 4.4. Iftwonarrowrollsareusedfitonespringandpaperwasherperrollandusethetwoextrapaper retainers. 4.5. Refitpaperbar,completewithpaperroll,toframeassembly.Positionrollincentreofbarand fixinplacebytighteningscrews(7)inpaperretainers(5). 4.6. Threadleadingedgeofpaperbetweenpaperspring(17)andguideedgeofpapercutter(3),seefig.1. 4.7. Pressmaskingtaperollsontotapereels(20)sothattapeleavesbottomofrollstowardsthe rearofthedispenser.Rollsmaybepositionedrelativetothemaskingpaperedgesbyadjustingwingnuts(18)
