hlins heavy duty suspension type 46HRC Your new hlins suspension features a hose connected reservoir. The suspension has the following adjusters:

Compression damping: Adjustments are made with the knob on the hose con- nected reservoir.

Rebound damping adjustments: Adjuster is at the bottom of the strut: Use a 3 mm allen key.

Spring pre-load: Adjustments are made with adjustment rings on the strut casing. Use the c-spanners

When delivered the hlins suspension is dialled to rec- ommended settings for the specific brand and make of the vehicle.

NOTE! If you have turned the adjuster without counting the number of clicks you must go back to the recommended settings. Close the adjuster and count the clicks when turning it counter-clockwise.

NOTE! The reservoir must not be attached closer to the engine sub frame than 10 mm.

CAUTION! The hose clamps must be tightened with a torque of maximum 3 Nm.

10 Refit the anti-roll bar link to the inside of the shock absorber bracket. This might mean that the rod end has to be turned half a turn on the link. If the height of the anti-roll bar bracket has to be changed, loosen the pinch screw and turn the bracket the required number of turns. Tighten the screw to 23 Nm.

CAUTION! Make sure that the suspension can move through its entire stroke without causing binds in the anti roll bar attachments.

NOTE! Make sure that all bolts are tightened to the correct torque and that nothing fouls or restricts movement of the suspension when it is being fully compressed or extended.
