4 Bouton marche-arrt : appuyez sur ce bouton pour mettre la tlcommande sous tension et rechercher un appareil photo dj associ. Maintenez le bouton enfonc (pendant au moins 3 secondes) pour rechercher un appareil photo non actuellement associ avec la tlcommande. Pour mettre la tlcommande hors tension, appuyez nouveau sur ce bouton.

Lorsque vous utilisez le retardateur, vous pouvez appuyer sur ce bouton pendant le compte rebours pour annuler la prise de vue.

8 Commande k (appliquer la slection) : fonctionne de faon similaire la commande k de l'appareil photo.

9 Bouton w1/Bouton w2 : il est possible d'utiliser les fonctions affectes au bouton w1/bouton w2 de la tlcommande via l'appareil photo. (Ces boutons ne sont pas quivalents aux boutons w de l'appareil photo.)

Mode d'utilisation

Association de la tlcommande et de l'appareil photo Avant d'utiliser la tlcommande pour la premire fois, vous devez l'associer l'appareil photo. * Dans ce manuel, le terme association dsigne le processus

d'authentification mutuelle permettant d'tablir une connexion entre des priphriques Bluetooth.

L'appareil photo ne peut tre associ qu'avec une tlcommande la fois. Si un autre appareil photo est associ la tlcommande, les donnes d'association correspondantes enregistres sur la tlcommande sont remplaces par celles du dernier appareil photo associ.

2 Appuyez sur le bouton marche-arrt de la tlcommande et maintenez-le enfonc (pendant au moins 3 secondes). La procdure d'association dmarre entre la tlcommande et

l'appareil photo. Le tmoin d'tat de la tlcommande clignote rapidement (toutes les 0,5 secondes) tout au long de la procdure.

Une fois l'association termine, la tlcommande et l'appareil photo sont connects. L'icne Z s'affiche sur l'cran de prise de vue de l'appareil photo.

Si un message signale l'chec de l'association, reprenez la procdure partir de l'tape 1.

Pour mettre la tlcommande hors tension, appuyez sur le bouton marche-arrt de la tlcommande.

Connexion un appareil photo associ Si l'appareil photo a dj t associ la tlcommande, il suffit d'appuyer sur le bouton marche-arrt de la tlcommande pour tablir une connexion. Dans ce cas, ne maintenez pas le bouton enfonc. Avant d'tablir la connexion, mettez l'appareil photo sous tension

et slectionnez Tlcommande dans Choisir la connexion dans le menu Rseau.

Si la connexion n'est pas tablie correctement, vrifiez les rglages de l'appareil photo, puis mettez la tlcommande hors tension et nouveau sous tension.

Vous devez rassocier un appareil photo prcdemment associ la tlcommande si un autre appareil photo est actuellement associ la tlcommande ou si les rglages de l'appareil photo ont t rinitialiss.

Appuyez sur le bouton marche-arrt et maintenez-le enfonc pour essayer de rassocier le priphrique ou vrifiez les paramtres d'association dfinis sur l'appareil photo.

Precautions for Use Do not drop the remote control, strike it against a hard object

such as a rock, or expose it to water. Do not insert a wet battery in the remote control. Do not pull out

the battery holder when the remote control or your hands are wet. Doing so may cause water to seep inside the remote control and result in a malfunction.

If moisture such as water droplets or a foreign substance adheres to the outside of the remote control or the battery holder, immediately wipe it off with a soft dry cloth.

Make sure that the battery holder is securely inserted. Do not leave the remote control in cold conditions or in hot

conditions of 40C (104F) or more for a long period of time. Do not suddenly bring the remote control to high-humidity

environment if it is exposed to extreme cold for an extended period. Condensation may form inside the remote control.

About Radio Wave Interference If there is any radio wave interference, the response of the remote control may be delayed.

Caring for the Product If moisture such as water droplets or a foreign substance adheres

to the remote control, wipe it off with a soft dry cloth. Do not use alcohol, thinner or other volatile chemicals.

Parts and Functions of the Remote Control (Figure 1) 1 button/+ button: Performs operations such as zoom control. 2 Movie record button: Starts/stops movie recording. 3 Multi selector: Functions similarly to the multi selector on the

camera. Can be used for manual focus adjustment or item selection.

4 Power button: Press the button to turn on the remote control and search for the camera that has already been paired. Keep holding down the button (for at least 3 seconds) to search for a camera that is not currently paired with the remote control. While the remote control is on, press the button to turn it off.

5 Strap eyelet (straps not included) 6 Status lamp: Indicates the remote control status or shooting

session status, based on the color and behavior of the lamp. See Status Lamp on the Remote Control for more information.

7 Shutter-release button: Functions similarly to the shutter- release button on the camera. Half-press and press-and-hold operations are not available. When using the self-timer, you can press the button during the

countdown to cancel shooting. 8 k (apply selection) button: Functions similarly to the k button

on the camera. 9 w1 button/w2 button: Functions assigned to the w1

button/w2 button on the remote control via the camera can be used. (These buttons are not equivalent to the w buttons on the camera.)

How to Use

Pairing the Remote Control and Camera Before using the remote control for the first time, it must be paired with the camera. * In this manual, pairing refers to the process of mutual

authentication that is performed between Bluetooth devices to establish a connection.

Only one camera can be paired with the remote control at a time. When another camera is paired with the remote control, the pairing information kept on the remote control is replaced by that of the newly paired camera.

2 Press and hold (for at least 3 seconds) the power button on the remote control. Pairing starts for the remote control and camera. While the

process is being performed, the status lamp on the remote control flashes quickly (about every 0.5 second).

When pairing is complete, the remote control and camera are connected. The Z icon is displayed on the shooting screen of the camera.

If a pairing failure message is displayed, perform the procedure again from step 1.

To turn off the remote control, press the power button on the remote control.

Connecting to a Paired Camera If the camera has already been paired with the remote control, a connection can be established simply by pressing the power button on the remote control. In this case, do not press and hold the button. Before establishing the connection, turn on the camera and

select Remote control in Choose connection in the network menu.

If the connection is not established properly, check the camera settings and turn the remote control off and back on again.

A camera that was previously paired with the remote control needs to be paired again if another camera is paired with the remote control or if the camera settings are reset.

Auto Off Function of the Remote Control The remote control automatically turns off in the following situations:

When no pairing device has been detected for 1 minute When the wireless connection is interrupted and not restored within 1 minute

When another device is selected as the pairing device on the camera

Press and hold the power button to try re-pairing or check the pairing settings on the camera.
