j PRECAUTIONS Be sure to apply the parking brake securely. Remove the ignition key from its key cylinder. Do not work just after turning off the engine, or when the tail pipe and the muffler is still hot.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURES A. INSTALLING THE MUFFLER CUT-

TER 1) Loosen the bolt on the muffler cutter and put it over

the end of the tail pipe.

2) Set the muffler cutter so that the tip of the tail pipe is in contact with the backside of the curled section of the muffler cutter , with its mounting bolt and drain hole at its lowermost position, as shown in the drawing. Then tighten the mounting bolt (M6) securely.

B. CHECKING AFTER INSTALLATION Check that the product is mounted securely without looseness. Test drive and then retighten the mounting bolt.
