Locate & mark studs behind drywall with a pencil.

Slide additional Wall Plates into place by guiding the new plates Quick Alignment Tabs on the top, bottom or sides into place on the first Wall Mounted plate.

Hold Wall Plate in desired location. Ensure plate is level.

Follow drywall anchor manufacturers instructions to install anchors. For any markings that fall on studs pre-drill holes with a 3/32" drill bit.

Fasten drywall anchor manufacturers recommended fasteners into the drywall anchors and #12 x 2" screws into 3/32" pilot holes.

Repeat process to add additional plates and fully customize your shop.

If using a Large Wall Plate, mark the 10 identified fastening points with a pencil. If using a Compact Wall Plate, mark the 5 identified fastening points.

WOOD STUD WALL PLATE INSTALLATION

Have a partner hold up plywood backer in desired location and align it so it is in the center of a stud. Ensure plywood is level.

Hold up plate and fasten with 1/4" x 1-1/4" lag bolts.

Attach plywood to studs with a minimum of 9 wood screws.

Pre-drill all mounting holes with a 3/32" bit.

Slide additional Wall Plates into place by guiding the new plates Quick Adjustment Tabs on the top, bottom, or sides into place on the first Wall Mounted Plate.

Repeat process to add additional plates and fully customize your shop.
