UNPACKING

Remove all packaging from the unit. Retain the packaging. If you dispose of it please do so according to any local regulations. The following items are included:

WALL MOUNTING & FIXINGS

Depending on the material of your wall, it may be neccessary to use masonry anchors or hollow wall anchors when xing the screws. In all cases, ensure that a secure xing is obtained.

The included wall plugs are only suitable for use in masonry walls. If you are in any doubt about the correct wall plugs for your wall, seek professional advice. Failure of the product due to using incorrect xings is the responsibility of the installer.

INSTALLATION

1. Carefully remove all packaging materials. 2. Ensure that the surface of the wall is at, and free of dust and dirt. 3. Place the splashback on the wall and mark the wall with a pencil through the holes in the splashback. 4. Drill 4 holes (hole dimension 8 x 45 mm) into the wall according to the diagrams below.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

Your splashback should be cleaned regularly using a proprietary cleaner.

Never use any sharp instruments or abrasive substances, soap, detergent or wax polish for cleaning.

2 people are required to lift the unit during assembly, it is recommended that gloves are worn.

Before drilling holes check that the wall is clear of any cables, pipes etc.

Make sure that the screws and wall plugs being used are suitable for supporting your unit. Consult a qualied technican if you are unsure.

Always use a larger screw and wall plug if you are not sure. Ensure you use the recommended drill bit to match the wall plug and hole size. Ensure you drill the hole horizontally, do not force the drill or enlarge the hole. Take extra care when drilling high walls and ceramic tiles. Ensure wall plugs are inserted beyond the

thickness of the ceramic tiles to avoid the tiles splitting or cracking. Ensure wall plugs are well tted and are a tight t in the drilled hole. To prevent debris getting behind the splashback, we recommend the sides are sealed using wall tiles or a

suitable silicone sealant.

5. Insert the supplied rubber insert washers into the 4 holes on the glass splashback. 6. Put the metal washers through the screws and then use the screws and wall plugs

provided to x the splashback. 7. Tighten the screws and press the splashback to the wall. 8. Tighten the screw covers to the metal washers by turning clockwise. 9. Any gaps between the benchtop and the wall must be sealed to exclude moisture.
