Thank you for purchasing the Korg METRONOME MA-2. To help you get the most out of your new instrument, please read this manual carefully.

Installing the batteries (Fig. 1): Slide open the back cover of the MA-2, and then insert the batteries, making sure to observe the correct polarity. Operation (Fig. 2): Press the power button (1) to turn the power on. Press the MODE button (2) to cycle through the Metronome (Fig. 3-1), Timer (Fig. 3-2) and Sound Out (Fig. 3-3) modes. ( Refer to the following table for the operation of each button (3) in these modes.) In Metronome mode, each press of the START/STOP but- ton (4) switches between starting and stopping the metronome. Adjust the volume with the VOLUME dial (5). Connect the head- phones to the jack (6). Pull out the stand (7) in order to prop up the MA-2.

About Timer mode The timer will continue running even when the mode is changed (TIMER is lit). When the specified time has elapsed, the alarm sounds, and Metronome and Sound Out stop if running. Espaol Merci davoir choisi le METRONOME MA-2 de Korg. Afin de pouvoir exploiter au mieux toutes les possibilits offertes par linstrument, veuillez lire attentivement ce manuel.

Mise en place des piles (Fig. 1): Ouvrez le couvercle au dos du MA-2 en le glissant et insrez les piles en respectant les indications de polarit. Utilisation (Fig. 2): Appuyez sur le bouton dalimentation (1) pour mettre linstrument sous tension. Appuyez sur le bouton MODE (2) pour slectionner parmi les modes Mtronome (Fig. 3-1), Minuterie (Timer, Fig. 3-2) et Sortie du son (Fig. 3-3). ( Le tableau suivant indique le rle de chacun des boutons (3) dans ces modes.) En mode Mtronome, chaque pression du bouton START/STOP (4) active et dsactive alternativement le mtronome. Rglez le volume avec la commande VOLUME (5). Branchez un casque la prise (6). Dployez le support (7) pour placer le MA-2 en position verticale.

Drcken Sie die MODE-Taste (2) um sich durch die Metronom- (Fig. 3-1), Timer- (Fig. 3-2) und Ton-Ausgabe- (Fig. 3-3) Modi zu bewegen. ( In der folgenden Tabelle sind die unterschiedlichen Funktionen der Tasten (3) im jeweiligen Modus gelistet.) Im Metronommodus starten bzw. stoppen Sie das Metronom wieder mit jedem Druck auf die START/STOP-Taste (4). Die Lautstrke regeln Sie mit dem VOLUME-Regler (5). Ihren Kopfhrer schlieen Sie an die Buchse (6) an. Klappen Sie den Stnder (7) aus, um das MA-2 aufzustellen.
