HEADLIGHTS AND FOG LIGHTS

HEADLIGHT SWITCH To operate the headlights, turn the switch on the end of the lever:

NOTE: The ignition must be in the ON position to turn on the headlights.

High Beam Activation: Push the lever forward. Flash Feature: Pull the lever toward you and release.

FOG LIGHT SWITCH (if equipped) Turn the switch to the ON position.

NOTE: Fog lights will only function on low beam.

POWEr MIrrOr CONTrOL

The switch is located on the drivers door panel next to the driver position memory system and can be used to adjust both the left and right outside mirrors.

TO ADjUST THE POSITION OF EITHEr MIrrOr:

1. Move the selecting switch to the R (right) or L (left) to adjust the corresponding mirror.

2. Adjust the mirror angle by depressing the appropriate direction on the perimeter switch.

3. Move the selecting switch to L to tilt down both mirrors while in reverse.

4. Move the selecting switch to R to tilt down only the right mirror.

5. Move the selecting switch back to the middle position to deactivate the perimeter switch.

POWEr SEAT ADjUSTMENT (if equipped)

A LUMBAr CONTrOL To manually adjust the lumbar support, move the lever to the desired position.

B SEATBACK ANGLE To recline the seatback, tilt the control forward or backward.

C SEAT HEIGHT AND FOrWArD / BACKWArD To adjust seat cushion height, move the control switch according to the desired adjustment. The front and rear sections of the cushion can be adjusted independently.

To move the seat forward or backward, move the control switch C accordingly.

DrIvEr POSITION MEMOrY SYSTEM (if equipped)

The Driver Position Memory System controls are located on the drivers side door trim.

TO SET THE MEMOrIZED DrIvEr POSITION: 1. Place the shift lever into P (Park) while the ignition switch is ON.

2. Adjust the drivers seat, outside rearview mirrors and adjustable pedal positions to the desired position.

3. Push the M button on the control panel until the signal beeps.

4. Within five seconds, push button 1 or 2 until the signal beeps twice. The beep confirms that the positions are successfully memorized.

TO ACTIvATE THE MEMOrIZED POSITION: 1. Place the shift lever into P (Park) while the ignition switch is ON.

2. Press button 1 or 2 to adjust seating position to memorized setting.

EASY ACCESS FUNCTION When the AUTO button is ON (the indicator light illuminates) and the shift lever is in the P (Park) position, the system will move the drivers seat forward or backward automatically so you can comfortably enter and exit the vehicle.

See the Owners Manual for conditions in which the Driver Position Memory System will not operate.

B MODE SWITCH Each press of the MODE switch changes the audio mode as follows: FM g AM g XM

C SEEK SWITCH Tap once to navigate through radio. Hold to quickly scroll through audio frequencies or fast forward / rewind through CD/MP3 tracks.

CrUISE CONTrOL

To set a cruising speed:

1. ON D Pull switch and the CRUISE indicator in the instrument cluster will illuminate. Accelerate to the desired cruising speed (above 25 mph).

2. SET C Push and remove your foot from the accelerator pedal.

To accelerate or decelerate speed:

ACCEL A Press to accelerate your speed with cruising speed set.

COAST C Press to slow speed down with cruising speed set.

To cancel the cruising speed:

Press the CANCEL B switch, press the brake pedal, or turn OFF D cruise control.

TIrE PrESSUrE MONITOrING SYSTEM (TPMS)

LOW TIrE PrESSUrE INDICATOr: Illuminates if one or more of your tires is significantly under-inflated. You should stop and check your tires as soon as possible, and inflate them to the proper pressure.

LOW TIrE PrESSUrE POSITION INDICATOr: Indicates which tire is significantly under-inflated by illuminating the corresponding position light.

TPMS MALFUNCTION INDICATOr: Illuminates and stays illuminated when there is a malfunction with the TPMS system. Have the system checked by an authorized Hyundai dealer as soon as possible.

NOTE: The TPMS is not a substitute for proper tire maintenance, and it is the drivers responsibility to maintain correct tire pressure, even if under-inflation has not reached the level to trigger illumination of the TPMS low tire pressure indicator.

PArKING BrAKE rELEASE

To release the parking brake, pull the parking brake release lever.

ADjUSTABLE PEDALS (if equipped)

With the transmission shift lever in the P (Park) position, turn the ignition key to ON.

Push the pedal position switch to move the pedals toward you. Push the switch to move the pedals away from you.

OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM

PASSENGEr AIr BAG OFF INDICATOr The indicator will illuminate when you turn the ignition key to START or ON. The light will not illuminate when the passengers air bag is enabled. The occupant classification system will disable the right front passengers air bag under certain conditions (light on). Refer to the Owners Manual for a complete description of this system.

NOTE: The drivers air bag and the side impact air bag are not part of the occupant classification system.

WIPEr / WASHEr

To activate the windshield wipers, move the wiper / washer switch to one of the four positions:

MIST This feature allows the windshield wipers to make a single wipe to clear any mist on the windshield. Move the windshield wiper / washer switch upward.

INT Intermittent wiper operation is the first downward position. The wiper speed may be varied by rotating the INT switch.

LO Low-speed operation is the second downward position.

HI High-speed operation is the third downward position.

WIPE / WASH OPErATION To use the windshield washer, pull the wiper / washer lever towards you. When the washer is operated, the wipers automatically make two passes across the windshield. The washer continues to operate until the lever is released.

rEAr WINDOW WIPEr / WASHEr

To operate the rear wipers, rotate the end of the wiper stalk.

To turn ON rotate the wiper stalk up one position. The rear wiper will run continuously.

To use the washer rotate the wiper stalk up two positions.

To wash with two or three wipes rotate the wiper stalk down one position.

SETTING PrESET MEMOrY BUTTONS (AM/FM) 1. Turn the radio on by pressing the POWER button A .

2. Select AM or FM B .

3. Adjust the Tune knob E to the desired channel.

4. Press and hold any preset button F (1-6) until an audible beep is heard to memorize the current channel.

1. Set the temperature control B C to the desired setting.

2. Set the fan speed A to the highest setting.

3. Set the mode selection control F to the defrost position.

NOTE: If the air conditioner filter for the evaporator blower is not replaced per the scheduled maintenance section, excessive window fogging may result. The filter is located in the evaporator housing behind the glove box. Your authorized Hyundai dealer can replace this filter for you.

To speed up defogging and dehumidifying, the fresh air mode should be selected.

A FrONT FAN SPEED CONTrOL Use to select the blower fan speed. Turn to the right for higher speed or left for lower speed.

LOCK Press to lock all doors and arm the alarm. Press again to hear a confirmation chirp.

UNLOCK Press to disarm the alarm and unlock the drivers door. Press again within four seconds to unlock all doors.

POWEr TAILGATE (if equipped) Press to open or close the tailgate.

LEFT SLIDING DOOr (if equipped) Press to open or close the sliding door.

PANIC Press and hold for one-half seconds to activate the horn and flashing lights. Press again to turn off panic mode. Panic mode automatically shuts off (resets) after 30 seconds.

CHILD-PrOTECTOr rEAr DOOr LOCK

To engage the child-protector feature so the rear door cannot be opened from inside the vehicle, move the child- protector lever located on the rear edge of the door to the (LOCK) position and close the door.

To disengage the child-protector feature, move the lever to the (UNLOCK) position.

To open the door from the outside, pull the outside door.

(LOCK) Does not allow opening the rear door from inside the vehicle.

(UNLOCK) Allows opening the rear door from inside and outside the vehicle.

HEATED SEATS (if equipped)

The front seats can be electrically heated individually when the ignition switch is ON. Turn the switch from 0 to 5 to warm the seats. Zero turns the seat warmer off, while 5 is the warmest.

To activate the rear climate control turn the rear fan dial D (manual) or G (automatic) to R on the front control.

There are three ways to open and close the sliding doors automatically:

Keyfob

NOTE: When the power ON / OFF button (PWR) is OFF (not depressed), the power sliding doors cannot be controlled with the subcontrol buttons or door handles. However, the doors can be controlled with the keyfob or the main control buttons on the overhead console. Also, the doors can be opened and closed manually by pulling the inside or outside door handles.

SUNrOOF CONTrOLS (if equipped)

The sunroof can only be opened, closed, or tilted when the ignition switch is in the ON position.

Opening the sunroof: Press the slide button A momentarily to open the sunroof all the way. Press and hold to manually adjust.

To tilt the sunroof: Press the tilt button B momentarily to tilt the sunroof all the

way. Press and hold to manually adjust.

Closing the sunroof: Press the close button C and hold it until the sunroof is closed.

TrIP COMPUTEr (if equipped)

With the ignition switch in the ON position, press the MODE button to change the display:

Distance to empty (RANGE) i Driving time (ET) i Average fuel consumption (AVG) i Outside temperature i OFF

Push the RESET button more than one second to initialize the displayed information such as tripmeter, average speed, average fuel consumption and drive time.

HOMELINK (if equipped)

The Homelink Wireless Control System that is integrated into the rearview mirror provides a convenient way to replace up to three hand-held radio-frequency (RF) transmitters used for garage doors, estate gates, home lighting, etc. with a single built-in device.

ADjUSTING AND FOLDING THE 2ND rOW SEAT

1. Lower the headrest A to the lowest position.

2. Flip up the armrests B .

3. Move the seat C to rearmost position.

4. Double-fold D the rear seat forward by pulling up the seatback recliner lever fully and flip upwards.

5. Pull the folding strap E out of the pocket located under the seat cushion. Lift the entire folded seat forward and tie the folded seat to the assist handle using the supplied straps.

STOWING THE 3rD rOW SEAT

1. Lower the headrest A to the lowest position.

2. Fold the seatback B by pulling the folding strap.

3. Pull the seat C by using the stowing strap.

4. Stow the seat D by pushing down firmly, until it clicks into place.

HEIGHT ADjUSTABLE SEAT SHOULDEr BELT (Front seat and 2nd row)

The height should be adjusted so the seat belt crosses your chest and midway over your shoulder nearest the door and not your neck.

To raise the height adjuster, pull it up. To lower, push it down while pressing the height adjuster button.

NOTE: Moving the height adjuster quickly may cause the seat belt retractor to engage.

POWEr TAILGATE (if equipped)

There are three ways to open and close the tailgate automatically:

NOTE: When the power ON / OFF button (PWR), located in the overhead console, is OFF (not depressed), the power tailgate cannot be controlled with the subcontrol buttons or trunk lever. However, the power tailgate can be controlled with the keyfob or the main control buttons on the overhead console.
