2 Keypad Introduction

Enter numbers/lowercases, numbers/uppercases and symbols in the textbox. When entering non-numeric characters, 0 can be a space key.

Shift between numeric key and direction key on the non-initial page.

3 Installation

1. Install gang box.

Make sure that the wall is strong enough to withstand three times the weight of the device.

2. Secure the device mounting plate on the gang box with two screws (supplied).

3. Align the terminal with mounting plate and buckle the terminal on the plate.

4. Tighten the screw to fix the terminal on the mounting plate and complete the installation.

When connecting door magnetic sensor and exit button, the device and the RS-485 card reader should use the common ground connection.

The Wiegand terminal here is a Wiegand input terminal. You should set the devices Wiegand direction to Input. If you want to connect to an access controller, you should set the Wiegand direction to Output. For details, see the user manual.

The suggested external power supply for door lock is 12 V, 1A.

5 Activation

1. Power on the device.

If it is the first time to use the device. After powering on,

you will enter the activation page.

2. Create a password and press #.

Press F1 to change the input method.

3. Confirm the password and press #.

Press F1 to change the input method.

After the device activation, you will enter the administrator

adding page. Add an administrator before of other

operation.

You should activate the device before the first login.

Activation via the device, SADP tool and the client software

are supported.

The default values of the device are as follows:

The default IP address: 192.0.0.64

The default port No.: 8000

The default user name: admin

1. Get and install the SADP software.

2. Run the SADP software and search the online devices.

3. Find and select your device in online device list.

4. Enter new password (admin password) and confirm the password.

5. Click Activate to start activation.

Status of the device becomes Active after successful activation.

6. Modify IP address of the device.

a. Select the device.

b. Change the device IP address to the same subnet as your

computer by either modifying the IP address manually or

checking Enable DHCP.

c. Input the admin password and click Modify to activate

your IP address modification.

1. Enter the Device Management page.

2. Select a device from the device list.

3. Click Online Device to show the online device area.

The searched online devices are displayed in the list.

4. Check the device status (shown on Security Level column) and

select an inactive device.

5. Click Activate to open the Activation dialog.

6. Create a password in the password field, and confirm the

password.

7. Click OK to activate the device.

The password strength of the device can be automatically checked. We highly recommend you change the

password of your own choosing (using a minimum of 8 characters, including at least three kinds of following

categories: upper case letters, lower case letters, numbers, and special characters) in order to increase the

security of your product. And we recommend you reset your password regularly, especially in the high

security system, resetting the password monthly or weekly can better protect your product. Proper conguration of all passwords and other security settings is the responsibility of the installer and/or end-user.
