Freezing and storage of fresh food

-Food shall be stored with a space in between, which is good for refrigeration cycle. -Food shall be stored in different categories so that you can find more easily. -Food shall be sealed before srred in the freezer to avoid water loss and smell taint. -Its optional to pack food before putting it in the freezer. The outside of the packing must be dry to avoid bags sticking together.Packing materials should be odor-free, airtight, non poisonous and non-toxic. -We suggest to identify portion nothing down information as follow: Name of food Quantity(number of pieces) Freezing date Limit date of storage -Do not load excessive quantities of fresh food in the freezer. It is better to refer to the freezing capacity of the freezer.

Beers and beverages shall not be stored in the freezer.

Setting up

Remove all package parts, the foam base and the adhesive tape fixing

accessories.

Place the freezer in a proper location.

Clean the inside and outside of the freezer before use.

After the appliance has been levelled and cleaned, let it remain idle for at

least 6 hours before switching it on so as to ensure its normal running.

Placing Environment

The freezer should be placed on a flat and solid ground. If the appliance is

placed on a pedestal, flat strong and fire-resistant materials must be used.

Never use the foam packing material as a pedestal.

Never place the freezer in a damp area or location where it may be

splashed with water. Clean and dry any water splashes and stains with soft

cloth in time to prevent rust.

Do not place the freezer where the environment temperature is too low

(under 5), do not keep the freezer outdoors or in the rain.

Do not place the freezer under the sunlight directly and keep it away from

heat to ensure the performance of the freezer.

Install the appliance in a well ventilated place and a space at least 10cm

must be kept above and around the freezer.

Feet-adjusting

If the freezer is slightly unstable, you can prolong or shorten the

adjustable feet of the freezer by turning them clockwise or counter

clockwise.

Connecting to the mains

Powere supply(AC) and voltage at the operating point must comply with the

The socket must be fused with a 10A fuse or higher, it must be away from

When the screen is unlocked, press Temp. Set, the temperature number will flash, additional pressing on this button, the temperature

will decrease 1C,When the temperature is set at -25C, press the key again, the temperature jumps to -7C, press the key again, the temperature jumps to -14C, and then from -14C to -25C, according to this cycle. After reaching the setting temperature, stop pressing, and the temperature will be saved automatically after 5 second, the number stops flashing, and then the display

shows the current temperature of the freezer.

-7C Function: set at -7C, the freezer temperature is maintained at about

-7C, suitable for short-term storage of fresh meat, fish, curry, grain and so on.

Function-selecting(HF-100)

When the screen is unlocked, press Func.Set button, the icon will be

light up, and press the Func.Set again, the icon will be light up, and then press the button again, the icon will be off, according to this cycle.

Energy-saving mode(HF-100): On: When the button is unlocked, press Func.Set button, this icon will be lighted up, and the freezer will turn into energy-saving mode. In

this mode, you can set the temperature in the range of -14C to -18C. If the temperature has been set at -19C or lower,then it will be set to -18C automatically.

Off: Press Func.Set button, when the icon is off, energy-saving mode will exit.

Function-selecting (BD-88DEM)

When the screen is unlocked, press Func.Set button, the icon

will be

light up, and press the Func.Set again, the icon

will be light up, and then press the button again, the icon will be off, according to this cycle.

Breast milk storage mode(BD-88DEM):

On: When the button is unlocked, press Func.Set button, this icon will be lighted up, and the freezer will turn into breast milk storage

mode. In this mode, the temperature will be set to -20C automatically. Off: Press Func.Set button twice, when the icon is off, breast milk storage

mode will exit.

Fast-freezing mode:

In the mode of fast-freezing, the freezer will be running until fast

-freezing mode is ended. After ending fast-freezing mode, the freezer is controlled according to the setting temperature before fast-freezing.

On: Press Func.Set button, when this icon is lighted up, and the freezer will turn into fast-freezing mode.

OFF-Automatically: Fast-freezing mode will exit automatically after starting-up 56 hours.

OFF-Manually: when fast-freezing function is on, press Func.Set button, when this icon is off, it means fast-freezing mode exit. Frozen: press Func.Set button to select the Fast-freezing icon light, Fast-freezing function to start,then the compressor normally open until the other function or 56 hours after the automatic exit,and then enter the pre-freeze settings.When a large amount of food is stored at one time,it is

recommended that this function be started 24 hours in advance. - When the temperature is set to -7 C before entering the fast-freezing, the temperature is operated at -14 C after the fast-freezing exit.

Alarm signals The alarm signals helps to protect the frozen food and to save energy. - It sounds when it is not cold enough in the freezer compartment. This

icon will also flash. - When too much warm air from the outside enters when inserting, re-arranging or removing frozen food.

- The alarm signal will not appear within

2 hours after the power is turned on. The audible warning signal is switched off by pressing any button. The icon display will continue to flash until the cause of the arlarm has been rectified.

Defrosting

Pull out the mains power plug before defrosting.

Remove the frozen food and store in a cool place.

Remove the drawers and glass shelves.

Wipe with a dry cloth when the defrosting water flows into the groove at the

bottom of the inner liner.

To speed up the defrosting process put a hot water on the compartment

floor. Leave the door open while defrosting.

Do not use any mechanical equipment or other artificial aids for

defrosting other than those recommended by the manufacturer.

Cleaning

Before cleaning always switch off the appliance. Pull out the mains

power plug or unscrew or switch of the fuse.

Do not use steam cleaners because of the risk of injury and damage.

Clean the inside, outer walls and equipment with lukewarm water and a

little detergent. Do not use concentrated cleaning agents and never use

cleaning agents containing sand, chloride or acid or chemical solvents, as

these would damage the surfaces and detergent powder, gasoline,

amyl acetate, acetone and similar organic solutions.

Use a soft cloth. Do not use hard brush, wire brush or other hard objects.

Do not spray or flush the freezer with water to avoid impact on its electrical

insulation property.

Do not clean with hard brush, wire brush, detergent powder, gasoline,

amyl acetate, acetone and similar organic solutions, warm water or acid or

alkaline solutions.

Clean the refrigerator with a soft cloth or sponge with warm water (can be

added with mild detergent).

Dry water droplets on the refrigerator surface with a dry cloth.

Always keep the door gasket clean.

The freezer is very heavy. When you are moving it for cleaning or repair, take

care not to damage the floor. Keep the freezer upright during moving. Do not

move the freezer by rocking it to avoid damage to the floor.

When cleaning the display screen and other electrical appliances, do use dry

cloth.

Moving the appliance

-Detach the power plug and turn off the power.

-Remove all food in the appliance.

-Secure the drawers and other movable parts in the appliance with adhesive

tape.

-Close the door and secure with adhesive tape so that it will not be opened

when moving.

-Do not tilt the appliance more than 45 degrees (angle to vertical) to avoid

damaging the refrigerating system when moving the appliance.

-Wrap the feet of the freezer to avoid scratching the floor. Never move the

freezer forcefully

-Do not move the freezer by its handle, lid or pipes to avoid property damage

or personal injury.

Shutting you appliance down

If you appliance is to be shut down for any length of time, switch it off and

disconnect the plug or remove the fuse. Clean the appliance and leave the

door open in order to prevent unpleasant smells.

To ensure the service life of the appliance, it is recommended that the

appliance not be turned off unless it is necessary.

Trouble shooting

If a fault occurs during operation, check whether it is due to an operating error.

Loud running noise

- Is the appliance set up firmly on the floor?

- Does the appliance cause nearby items of furniture or objects to vibrate?

- Burbling noises are normal, These are caused by the refrigerant flowing

round the refrigerant circuit.

- Clicking sound: This will be heard whenever the refrigeration unit (the motor)

switches on or off automatically.

- Motor noise: This will be slightly louder for a brief period when rhe

refrigeration unit switches on.

Cabinet side wall is hot

This situation is normal, the condenser radiates heat through the side walls

Moisture accumulates on the appliance surface

- Ambient humidity is too high, please wipe dry with a dry cloth.
