INSTRUCTIONS

LOVE TO WALK BABY POOH is walking, talking plush Baby Pooh who walks at 4 different speeds. Initially activated by squeezing his hand, he can then be controlled by additional hand squeezes or sound activation.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN Remove and discard the Try Me pull-tab from the bottom of Poohs RIGHT foot. Once the TRY ME pull-tab is removed,

the toy will perform its full play pattern as described below. Be sure the ON/OFF switch is in the ON position. The ON/OFF switch is located on the bottom of Poohs LEFT foot.

At any time, you can use the ON/OFF switch to de-activate the toy.

HOW TO PLAY To begin, press Poohs LEFT hand to activate the toy. Pooh will begin to walk and talk at the slowest speed. Once Pooh stops walking and talking, he will wait to be prompted again either by a sound or another squeeze of his hand. When Pooh is prompted by sound or hand squeeze, he will again begin to walk and talk, this time at a faster speed. Pooh will sometimes randomly change directions when he walks. Each time Pooh stops walking and talking, he will wait for the next hand squeeze or sound prompt. If Pooh falls down while walking, his legs will stop moving and he will ask you to pick him up. After you pick him up, Pooh will ask for a hug. Pooh will also ask for a hug periodically after walking several times.

NOTE TO PARENTS SOUND ACTIVATION ONLY WORKS WHEN TOY HAS STOPPED WALKING. FOR BEST RESULTS OF THE SOUND ACTIVATION FEATURE, STAND 3 TO 5 FEET AWAY FROM POOH AND SPEAK CLEARLY IN A NORMAL VOICE OR MAKE A CLEAR SOUND, SUCH AS A HAND CLAP. IF POOH DOES NOT REACT AT FIRST TO YOUR VOICE OR SOUND, TRY AGAIN LOUDER, CLEARER, AND CLOSER TO THE TOY. SURROUNDING SOUNDS SUCH AS A TV, RADIO, ETC. MAY SOMETIMES ACTIVATE THE TOY.

FOR BEST PERFORMANCE, POOH SHOULD WALK ON A HARD, FLAT SURFACE.

TOY SLEEP MODE: If Pooh is not played with for more than 30 seconds, he will say Bye Bye and automatically shut-off to preserve battery life. Squeeze his hand again to resume play.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT Batteries included are for demonstration purposes only. Requires (4) AA (LR6) batteries. For longer life use only alkaline batteries. If sounds play slowly or distort, replace all 4 batteries. There are 2 battery compartments located under each of Poohs feet. Each battery compartment holds (2) AA batteries. Replace the 4 AA batteries as shown.
