moisture. Do not alter the AC plug of the connected power adapter. Do not drip or splash liquids or place liquid filled containers on the unit. The Fender Distortion pedal creates classic hard rock distortion effects. User adjusted controls are provided for tone, gain, and level. Features include LED indicator, power options for 9V battery or external 9VDC jack, and a heavy duty die cast housing.

Distort pedal features A. EFFECT ACTIVATION FOOT SWITCH Press to turn the effect on-off as indicated by the red

LED INDICATOR {H}.

B. OUTPUT Connect to the input on your amplifier.

C. TONE Controls high-frequency response.

D. GAIN Controls the amount of distortion.

E. POWER INPUT Connection for a DC power adapter . When using an adapter the battery is switched off.

F. LEVEL Controls the volume level of the effect.

G. INPUT Plug your guitar in here or connect the output from another effect.

H. LED INDICATOR Illuminates when the effect is switched on.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT Remove the four screws at the corners of the bottom plate to access the battery compartment. Replace with a fresh 9-volt alkaline battery (IEC 6LR61, ANSI/NEDA 1604A) when the effect sounds abnormal. Unplug the input cable from the unit to turn the unit fully off and prolong battery life. Disconnect the battery when storing the unit for long periods of time.

NOTE To avoid damage to electronics and speakers, always turn down the amplifier when connecting or disconnecting effects or an instrument.

CAMBIO DE BATERA Desatornillar los cuatro tornillos en las esquinas de la tapa inferior para acceder al compartimento de la batera. Cambiar por una batera nueva de 9 voltios (IEC 6LR61, ANSI/ NEDA 1604A) cuando los efectos suenen anormales. Desenchufe el cable de entrada de la unidad para apagar la unidad completamente y extender la vida til de la batera. Desconectar la batera cuando no utilice la unidad durante largo perodos de tiempo.

NOTA Para evitar daos a la electrnica y a los altavoces, bajar el nivel del amplificador siempre que vaya a conectar o desconectar los efectos o un instrumento.

position on-off comme indiqu par le tmoin LED rouge {H}.

REMPLACEMENT DE LA BATTERIE : Retirez les quatre vis aux coins de la plaque de fond pour accder au compartiment de la batterie. Remplacez-la par une nouvelle pile alcaline de 9 volts (IEC 6LR61, ANSI/NEDA 1604A) lorsque la tonalit semble anormale. Dbranchez le cble dentre de lunit pour mettre lappareil totalement en positionoff et prolonger lautonomie de la batterie. Dbranchez la batterie lorsque vous rangez lappareil pendant de longues dures.

REMARQUE : Pour viter dendommager llectronique et les haut-parleurs, baissez toujours lamplificateur lors de la connexion ou dconnexion des effets ou dun instrument.

SOSTITUZIONE DELLA BATTERIA Rimuovere le quattro viti situate negli angoli della piastra inferiore per accedere al vano portabatteria. Sostituirla con una nuova batteria alcalina da 9 volt (IEC 6LR61, ANSI/NEDA 1604A) quando leffetto ha un suono anormale. Scollegare il cavo di ingresso dallunit per disattivare completamente lunit e prolungare la durata della batteria. Scollegare la batteria quando non si utilizza lunit per lunghi periodi di tempo.

NOTA Per evitare possibili danni alle parti elettroniche e agli altoparlanti, abbassare sempre lamplificatore quando lo si collega o scollega a effetti o a uno strumento.

BATTERIE AUSTAUSCHEN Lsen Sie die vier Schrauben auf der Unterseite des Pedals, um auf das Batteriefach zuzugreifen. Setzen Sie eine neue 9-V-Batterie (IEC 6LR61, ANSI-NEDA 1604A) ein, wenn der Effekt anormal klingt. Das Eingangskabel aus dem Pedal ausstecken, damit das Gert komplett ausgeschaltet ist und die Lebensdauer der Batterie verlngert wird. Entfernen Sie die Batterie, wenn das Gert ber einen lngeren Zeitraum gelagert wird.

HINWEIS Um zu vermeiden, dass Elektronik und Lautsprecher beschdigt werden, den Verstrker beim Ein- bzw. Ausstecken von Effekten und Instrumenten leise stellen.

Desconecte o cabo de entrada da unidade para desligar completamente a unidade e prolongar a vida til da bateria. Desconecte a bateria quando guardar a unidade por um perodo longo.

OBS. Para evitar danos aos eletrnicos e aos alto-falantes, sempre desligue o amplificador ao conectar ou desconectar os efeitos ou um instrumento.
