Alienware Area-51

1 Power button (Alien head button) Press to turn on the computer if it is turned off or in sleep state. Press to shut down the computer if it is turned on. Press and hold for 4 seconds to force shutdown the computer.

2 Optical-drive eject button Press to eject the media from the optical drive.

3 Optical drive Reads from and writes to CDs, DVDs, and Bluray discs.

4 Headphone port Connect a headphone or speakers.

5 Microphone port Connect an external microphone to provide sound input.

6 USB 3.0 ports (2) Connect peripherals such as storage devices, printers, and so on. Provides data transfer speeds up to 5 Gbps.

7 Media-card reader Reads from and writes to media cards.
