IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Always turn off and unplug the blender from the
mains socket when not in use, before assembling,
disassembling or cleaning.
Ensure the blender is correctly assembled before
operating.
Avoid contacting moving parts.
Never use this appliance to blend anything other
than foods.
Do not use the blender to blend or chop hot food or
liquids as there is a danger of scalding or damage to
the appliance.
Under no circumstances fill the jug with hot liquid
during operation or cleaning. Hot liquid can cause
the jug to shatter, danger of injury.
Always operate the blender with the blender jug lid
and inner cap in place.

Do not use attachments other than those provided
with the blender.
This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep
the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
Appliances can be used by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or metal capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given

hazards involved.

This appliance is intended to be used in household

Unplug from outlet when it is not in use, before
putting on or taking off parts, before moving the
appliance or adding the food , and before cleaning.

BEFORE FIRST USE Before using your blender for the first time, remove all packaging material and labels. Wash the lid, measuring cup and blender jug in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Clean the motor base with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
OPERATION Do not operate the blender continuously for periods longer than 2 minutes on any speed setting. Allow the blender to cool to the room temperature before commencing.
1. Place the motor base on a stable, level surface.
2. Mount the blender jug onto the motor base.
Make sure that the arrow on the blender jug
is aligned with the unlock symbol on the
motor base.

3. Turn the blender jug anticlockwise until it is fixed properly. The arrow on the blender jug will be aligned with the lock symbol
on the motor base.
4. Plug the blender into the mains socket. Your blender is now ready to be
used.
5. Add all necessary ingredients to the blender jug. Do not overfill the jug. Do not exceed 1.5 litres.
Cut all food into small cubes (23 cm square) to achieve an even
result.
NOTE: If mixing hard and soft foods together, begin with the hard foods and then add soft foods. Blend until you have reached the desired consistency and even texture.
6. Place the lid onto the jug and then turn it clockwise until it locks in position.
Make sure that the spout cover on the lid aligns with the spout on
the jug.
7. Line up the lugs on the measuring cup with the grooves in the lid. Push
the measuring cup down and twist it anticlockwise to lock it into
position.
During processing, you may add more ingredients by twisting and
removing the measuring cup from the lid. Refit the measuring cup
after adding ingredients.
It is recommended that the measuring cup can be used for drip
feeding oil into the jug when making mayonnaise.
8. Switch on the blender by turning the speed control knob to the desired speed setting.
The speed can be changed at any time during the blending process.
The pulse function will stay on as long as the speed control knob is kept at the Pulse position.
It is suggested to start blending on speed 1 setting and then increase to speed 2 setting if necessary to blend until desired

consistency is reached.
NOTE:
During the blending process, ingredients may stick to the sides of the
blender jug. To push the food back on the blades, turn off the blender.
Remove the lid and use a plastic spatula (not supplied) to scrape down
the sides of the jug. Replace lid before recommencing blending.
If the blades become stuck, immediately turn off and unplug the
blender from the mains socket. Remove the jug from the motor base
and remove the lid. Use a plastic spatula to dislodge the ingredients
from the blades. Replace lid before recommencing blending.

9. To stop the blending, turn the speed control knob to the 0 position.
10. After use, ensure the blender is switched off by turning the speed control
dial to the 0 position and then unplug the blender from the mains socket.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Warning: Always turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning. Remove the jug from the motor base. Remove the lid and measuring cup from the jug. Wash them in warm soapy water. Rinse them thoroughly. Clean the motor base with a damp cloth. DO NOT immerse the motor base in water. Dry the entire appliance with a dry cloth before replacing. Do not use chemical cleaners or abrasives product for cleaning.

Before connecting, check that the voltage indicated on the appliance
corresponds with the main voltage in your home. If this is not the case,
consult your dealer and do not use.

plug, proceed as follows:
The blue wire must be connected to the terminal marked with the
letter N or coloured black.
The brown wire must be connected to the terminal marked with the
letter L or coloured red.
The green and yellow wire must be connecting to the terminal marked
with the letter E or the earth symbol. ( ).
If a 13 Amp (BS1363) fused plug is used it must be fitted with a 13A fuse
conforming to BS1362 and be ASTA approved.
