GENERAL NOTES The main cabinet is constructed from 5 panels plus the door. The top and bottom panels are identical, as are the side panels. Care must be taken to ensure they are assembled correctly by taking note of the instructions and referring to the appropriate diagram.

All fixing screws should be entered from the outside and secured on the inside by the flat washers and nuts provided. Assembly should be carried out with all nuts finger tight only - DO NOT tighten the nuts until the workbench is fully assembled as described in the assembly instructions.

You will find it easier and more comfortable to assemble the main cabinet, complete with legs, whilst they are resting on workbench. Additionally, it would be easier and quicker if an assistant screws on the nuts inside the cabinet whilst the screw is held on the outside.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS NOTE: 1. Assembly is simplified if an extra pair of hands is available. 2. All fixing screws should be finger tight ONLY, until the complete box structure

is assembled. 3. Assemble on a workbench with suitable free working area.

Assembly procedure is as follows:

3. Locate the Door Lower Hinge Pin in the hole in the lower panel, then place the top panel on top of the two side panels as shown in fig.2, locating the Door Top Hinge Pin in the hole in the upper panel as you do so.

Secure with four screws, nuts and washers in the holes shown arrowed in Fig.2.

1. Top and bottom panels are identical, (as are the side panels). The FRONT of each panel is that end where a channel is formed, as shown in fig.1.

Lay one such panel, channel down, with a side panel positioned alongside as shown.

The bottom panel should sit on top of the lower lip of the side panel.

Secure with two screws, flat washers and nuts.

4. Move the structure so that the front end hangs over the edge of the workbench by two inches or so, then bolt on the front left hand leg, as indicated in fig 3.

5. Before you can bolt on the front right hand leg, the door retaining plate must first be bolted to it. This is also indicated in Fig.3.

Bolt on the Retaining plate using the centre hole ONLY (A), then offer up the leg to the box and bolt on at the top and bottom (B), and finally on to the side panel (C).

4

6. With the two front legs bolted on, turn the structure so that it is lying on one side.

Place the back panel in position and hold in place by entering a screw through the centre hole only on the top and bottom panels, and securing with a washer and nut from inside the box.

7. Bolt on the leg.

8. Turn the structure so that it lies on its opposite side and bolt on the other leg.

9. Turn the structure on to its feet and rock it to ensure that no particular part is under stress, and so that it comes to rest naturally. Check the angle which the top ans bottom panels make with ther side panels...use the door as a template....it should be a right angle. If not move the structure, by hand, so that it is so, then proceed to tighten all securing nuts.

10. Turn the rigid box structure on to its side once again and screw in the bolts, used as feet, to the bottom of each leg, screw on a nut, then tap on the rubber cup to the Hex. bolt head. A sharp tap with a hammer should suffice. As far as possible, try to adjust the bolts so they protrude an equal length.

Finally place the box on its feet and test for stability. adjust the bolts, as necessary, and secure by tightening the nut.

A. The Table 1. Turn the table top face down and attach the two side rails as shown in fig.4,

using two screws each side, entering them in the pre-drilled holes in the tabletop.

Fig.3

2. Attach the two drawer runners in the manner shown in fig.4 using three screws for each runner in the predrilled holes in the table top.

NOTE: The tabs, indicated, establishes that edge as being the rear edge of the table. (The tabs are the secondary drawer stops).

3. Two wood screws are provided for use as drawer stops. Screw these into the holes provided

The table is now ready to be assembled to the cabinet.

4. With the table top remaining face down, position the cabinet on top, with the feet uppermost, the legs sitting between the side rails.

NOTE: The front of the cabinet should face the front of the table. See note above, to determine which edge of the table is the front.

Line up the holes in the legs with those in the side rails, and locate with screws, flat washers and nuts. Tighten fully.

5. Turn the structure back on to its feet.

C. The Drawer The drawer comprises:

2 x Side panels, i x Front Panel, 1 x Back Panel, 1 x Bottom panel

1. Having identified the various parts, Ref: Fig.5, bolt the side panels to the front panel in the manner shown in Fig.5., then bolt on the back panel ....all screws should be finger tight.

2. Drop in the bottom panel and secure with screws, nuts and washers.

3. Ensure the drawer is square before tightening all nuts.
