OVERRIDE INSTRUCTIONS FOR OPENING THE SAFE
A manual override fail safe system is incorporated in your safe. If you forget or misplace your combination, remove the battery cover as previously described, then gently pull out the battery holder.
1. Choose a suitable location for your safe ensuring the mounting surface is solid enough to hold the weight of the safe.
2. Mark out four pilot holes as detailed in fig. 3 and drill through with a 10.5 mm drill.
Note : If you are using the supplied expansion bolts but without the sleeve, then the holes need to be counter sunk to accommodate the bolts tapered head.
3. Position the safe over the holes, locating onto the bolts. Fit the nuts and washers supplied and tighten.
Note : Care must be taken when tightening the nuts. Overtightening could cause damage to the mounting surface.
