INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing this CLARKE vane pump.

Suitable for use with water, petrol, diesel and xylol, (not suitable for use with acid, alkali and chemicals which are corrosive to aluminium

ASSEMBLY

FITTING THE PUMP TO A DRUM

1. Assemble the pump using the handle, collar, spout and inlet tube supplied.

The pump body is marked with IN for the inlet tube and with an arrow for the outlet tube.

Use PTFE tape at all connections.

2. Fit the collar over the inlet tube before screwing the tube to the pump body.

3. Screw the collar into the threaded opening of the barrel.

4. Raise or lower the inlet tube so that it is just above the bottom of the drum when fitted. Set in position by tightening the collar.

USING THE PUMP

1. Make sure all connections are secure and place a suitable container under the outlet tube.

2. Rotate the handle to draw fluid from the drum.
