INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing this CLARKE Car Creeper.

Before attempting to use this product, please read this manual thoroughly and follow the instructions carefully. In doing so you will ensure the safety of yourself and that of others around you, and you can look forward to your purchase giving you long and satisfactory service.

This product is guaranteed against faulty manufacture for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. Please keep your receipt which will be required as proof of purchase.

This guarantee is invalid if the product is found to have been abused or tampered with in any way, or not used for the purpose for which it was intended.

Faulty goods should be returned to their place of purchase, no product can be returned to us without prior permission.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

1. ALWAYS take care when handling the car creeper, not to get your hands or fingers caught between the frame and pivot arms, particularly when raising or lowering the seat.

2. NEVER allow the creeper to be used as a plaything such as a toy or skateboard. Keep children away at all times...this is NOT a toy.

3. NEVER leave the creeper unattended. When not in use, it should be stored carefully and not left lying around for others to trip over.

4. ALWAYS use your car creeper on a hard level surface, not in the vicinity of drains, holes, curbs, cracks etc., as this could cause serious damage to the castors.

5. ALWAYS check your car creeper regularly for signs of damage, and if any is apparent, have it repaired before putting back into use. Remember, broken, worn or missing parts could result in injury.

6. DO NOT modify this creeper in any way. Unauthorized modifications mat impair the function and/or safety and could effect the life of the product.

7. DO NOT exceed the maximum rated load capacity.

8. DO NOT stand on the car creeper or seat or use as a stepping device.

9. Sit down slowly and carefully onto the seat to avoid shock loading.

10. DO NOT place under a cartyre to move or reposition a vehicle.

11. Make sure the vehicle is properly supported with axle stands and the wheels are chocked before going under the vehicle.

12. DO NOT use if any part of the frame is damaged, split or cracked.

13. When not in use, store upright in a secure place.

14. DO NOT drop the creeper onto the ground.

ASSEMBLY

Should damage to any of the components have occurred during transit, please notify your CLARKE dealer immediately.

1. Fit the castor and washer to the pillow end of the car creeper as shown and tighten using the spanner provided.

2. For the four remaining castors, insert the castor with washer attached into the barrel nut and tighten by hand.

3. Use the hex key supplied and spanner to tighten up the barrel nut.

CONFIGURATION CHANGES

STOOL CONFIGURATION

1. Pull out the spring loaded latch pin in the side of the frame.

2. Rotate the frame upwards as shown and allow the latch pin to re-engage into the bracket.

Make sure that the latch pin is fully engaged before use.

3. Rotate the seat down to horizontal angle as shown.

Reverse steps 1-3 to revert back to creeper configuration.

BACKREST CONFIGURATION 1. Pull out the spring loaded latch

pin in the side of the frame.

2. Rotate the frame upwards as shown and allow the latch pin to re-engage into the bracket.

Make sure that the latch pin is fully engaged before use.

Reverse steps 1-2 to revert back to creeper configuration.

MAINTENANCE

Keep the car creeper clean using a soft damp cloth and a mild upholstery cleaner if required.

Keep the castors free from dust and oil.
