Align the power contacts on the bottom of the IT- 500 with the power contacts of the Car Mounted Battery Charger 1, and then securely push in the rollers of the locking lever until the IT-500 comes forward 2. At this time, be careful so that the strap is not pinched between the IT-500 and the Car Mounted Battery Charger. This causes the Power Indicator Lamp on the Car Mounted Battery Charger to light in green. The indicator on the IT-500 changes from red to green when charging is complete. When removing the IT-500, release the locking lever of the Car Mounted Battery Charger.
