a) Avant la premire utilisation

Avant dutiliser lappareil pour la premire fois, nettoyez la Plancha leau tide, avec du liquide vaisselle et une ponge souple. Nutilisez pas de dtergents abrasifs ni dponges mtalliques. Aprs le nettoyage, schez la plaque et les boitiers. (Pour plus dinformations, se rfrer la partie entretien et maintenance de votre appareil ).

b) Utilisation de lappareil

! Utilisez uniquement des ustensiles en bois ou en plastique rsistant la chaleur. ! Ne coupez pas les aliments sur le plateau et nutilisez pas dobjets pointus pour manipuler les aliments.

- Branchez le boitier thermostatique dans le boitier lectrique. - Placez le thermostat sur la position 0 . - Branchez lappareil sur la prise murale. - Slectionnez le repre de cuisson souhait (en lalignant sur le voyant de fonctionnement). - La temprature est atteinte lorsque le voyant steint. - Aprs utilisation, positionnez le thermostat sur 0 , dbranchez lappareil et attendez quil

refroidisse pour le manipuler.

Nota : Pour faciliter lcoulement des jus de cuisson vers le bac rcuprateur de graisse, dployez la bquille dinclinaison situe sous le boitier lectrique.

4) ENTRETIEN ET MAINTENANCE DE VOTRE APPAREIL

a) Entretien de votre appareil

Avant de nettoyer lappareil, dbranchez-le cordon de la prise murale dalimentation puis, dbranchez le boitier thermostatique de lappareil.

Nettoyage de la plaque en Tflon

! Lappareil nest pas lavable au lave-vaisselle. Nettoyez la plaque en utilisant une ponge souple et non abrasive avec du produit vaisselle ou une crme nettoyante. Schez avec du papier absorbant, veillez bien asscher le boitier lectrique.

Note : Nutilisez pas dponges mtalliques ni de dtergents abrasifs car ils peuvent endommager la surface en Tflon. Astuces : Afin de faciliter le nettoyage, vous pouvez dposer un peu de gros sel de cuisine sur la surface en Tflon et frotter lgrement avec une ponge humide pour retirer les graisses cuites. Rincez lau claire, essuyez.

Nettoyage du bac rcuprateur de jus

Nettoyez-le leau chaude en utilisant un produit vaisselle. Vous pouvez galement le passer au lave-vaisselle.

Nettoyage du boitier thermostatique et du cordon dalimentation

! Ne les plongez pas dans leau ou dans tout autre liquide. Vous pouvez les nettoyer en passant une ponge ou un chiffon lgrement humide dessus.

- For your safety, steam cleaner is not to be used. - When unplugging the power cord, do not pull on the

cord itself but pull on the plug. - The supply cord cannot be replaced. If the supply cord

3) USING YOUR APPLIANCE

a) Using your appliance for the first time

Before using your appliance for the first time, read the following instructions carefully and keep them for future reference. Clean the grill plate with warm soapy water and soft sponge. Do not use abrasive detergents or metal scourers. After cleaning, the grill plate must be dried. Special care must be taken to dry the inside of the plug socket thoroughly.

b) Using your appliance

- Turn the thermostat so that the 0 position lines up with the indicator lights.

- Plug the appliance into the mains and select the required cooking temperature by aligning the thermostat with the pilot light in the connection assembly. The pilot light will come on. When the pilot light switches off, it indicates that the grill tray has reached the selected temperature.

- After use, turn the thermostat back to 0, unplug the appliance and leave to cool before handling.

c) Recommendations for use

To prolong the life of the non stick coating on the grill plate: -Only use wooden or heatproof plastic utensils. -Do not cut food on the plate, or use sharp objects to handle the food. -Do not leave plastic objects which may melt on top of the plate while in use - Cut the food evenly to ensure even cooking.

Try to make sure that the food is cut evenly so that it can be cooked properly.

4) CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

a) Cleaning the appliance

Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait until it cools down completely. Then, move the disconnect button towards the thermostat to extract the power unit from the plug socket.

Grill plate

Clean the grill plate with warm soapy water and a soft sponge. After cleaning, the grill tray must be dried by paying special attention to the plug socket area which must be completely dry Do not use metal scourers or abrasive detergent as they may damage the Teflon surface. The unit is not dishwasher safe.

Using advice: In order to facilitate the cleaning, you can put down a little cooking salt on the Teflon surface and rub slightly with a wet sponge to remove cooked fats. Rinse it in clear water then wipe.

Drip tray

It can be washed in a dishwasher or with a sponge and hot soapy water.

Power unit and thermostat

Clean the power unit by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse it in water or in any other liquid.
