1Safety

Observe the following safety instructions.

1.1General information Read this instruction manual carefully. Observe the instructions for the base unit.

1.2Intended use Only use the accessories: with a kitchen machine from the same series MUMS2, MUMS4,

MUM5. With genuine parts and accessories. For cutting up, chopping, mixing, pureing and emulsifying li-

quid or semi-solid food. For crushing ice cubes.

1.3Safety instructions

WARNING  Risk of cutting! The blender knife has sharp blades. When cleaning and emptying the blender jug, watch out for the

sharp blades. Never touch the edges of the blades with bare hands.

WARNING  Risk of injury! Improper use may cause injuries. Never assemble the accessories on the base unit. Only attach and remove accessories once the drive has

stopped and the appliance has been unplugged. The accessories should only be used in the intended operating

position. Never reach into the fitted accessory. Never operate the accessory without fitting the lid.

WARNING  Risk of scalding! Hot food may splash out during processing and steam can es- cape from the lid. Add a maximum of 500 ml of hot or frothing food. Process hot food carefully. Do not lean over the appliance.

ATTENTION! Improper use may cause material damage. Do not process food that contains

hard components, e.g. bones, gristle or stones.

Do not process frozen ingredients, apart from ice cubes.

Do not insert any objects into the blender jug, e.g. wooden spoons.

Before use, check the blender jug for foreign objects.

3Unpacking and check- ing

Find out here what you need to note when unpacking the appliance.

3.1Unpacking the accessor- ies and parts

1. Take the accessories out of the packaging.

2. Take all other parts and the ac- companying documents out of the packaging and place them to hand.

3. Remove any packaging material. 4. Remove any stickers or film.

3.3Cleaning the accessories before using for the first time

5Before using the appli- ance

Prepare the base unit and the ac- cessories for use.

5.1Overview of base units This accessory can be used with dif- ferent base units. You can prepare your kitchen ma- chine as shown.  Fig. 3

5.2Fitting blender attach- ment to the base unit

WARNING Risk of injury! Improper use may cause injuries. Only attach and remove accessor-

ies once the drive has stopped and the appliance has been un- plugged.

1. Place the blender attachment on drive 3 as shown.  Fig. 4 Markings and must match up.

2. Push the blender attachment and turn down anticlockwise until it en- gages.  Fig. 5 Markings and must match up.

6Basic operation operation

6.1Processing food using the blender attachment

Note: Take note of the recommended speeds.  "Application examples", Page 11 1. Prepare your food.

Cut up large items of food. 2. Add the food to the blender jug.

4. Rotate the lid anticlockwise until it engages.  Fig. 8 The lid must be completely closed.

5. Insert mains plug. 6. Set the rotary switch to the recom-

mended speed.  Fig. 9

7. Process the ingredients until you achieve the required result.

6.2Adding more ingredients 1. To add more ingredients during

processing, select one of the fol- lowing options: Add liquids through the funnel in

the lid. Take out the funnel and add

solid ingredients through the opening.

3. Rotate the lid clockwise and re- move.

6.3Emptying the blender at- tachment

1. Unplug the mains plug. 2. Rotate the blender attachment

clockwise until it disengages.  Fig. 12

3. Remove the blender attachment from the base unit.  Fig. 13

4. Rotate the lid clockwise and re- move.  Fig. 14

5. Place the processed food in a suit- able container or serve immedi- ately.  Fig. 15

Tips Clean all parts immediately after

use so that residues do not dry on. To preclean, pour a little detergent

solution into the blender jug and switch the appliance on for a few seconds.

7Cleaning and servicing

7.1Cleaning products Find out here what cleaning agents are suitable for your accessories.

ATTENTION! Using unsuitable cleaning agents or incorrect cleaning may damage the accessories. Do not use cleaning agents con-

taining alcohol or spirits. Do not use sharp, pointed or metal

objects.

Do not use abrasive cloths or cleaning agents.

7.2Overview of cleaning Clean the individual parts as indic- ated in the table.  Fig. 16

ATTENTION! Using unsuitable food may damage the appliance. Do not process food that is hotter

than 70 C in the blender jug.

Note Restrictions on processing: Do not use it to chop ingredients

like almonds, onions, parsley and meat.

The blender cannot produce spreads, such as peanut butter, coconut butter or nut spreads.

Use enough liquid when mixing solid food.

Mix powdered food with sufficient liquid before blending, or dissolve it entirely in liquid. Examples of powdered food include icing sugar, cocoa powder, roasted soy- beans, flour, protein powder.

PERHATIAN! Penggunaan yang tidak betul boleh menyebabkan kerosakan harta benda. Jangan proses bahan makanan

Jangan memproses makanan sejuk beku, kecuali ais.

2. Tekan alat tambah pengadun ke bawah dan putar mengikut arah lawan jam sehingga terpasang pada tempatnya.  Raj. 5 Penandaan dan mesti diselaraskan antara satu sama lain.

3. Masukkan corong tuang pada penutup dan letakkan penutup pada bekas pengadun.  Raj. 7

4. Putar penutup mengikut arah lawan jam sehingga terpasang pada tempatnya.  Raj. 8 Tudung mesti ditutup sepenuhnya.

5. Pasangkan palam kuasa. 6. Tetapkan suis putar ke kelajuan

isi dengan bahan-bahan pepejal melalui pembukaan.

6.3Kosongkan alat tambah pengadun

1. Tanggalkan plag. 2. Putar alat pengadun mengikut

arah jam sehingga longgar.  Raj. 12

3. Tanggalkan lampiran pengadun dari peranti asas.  Raj. 13

4. Putar penutup mengikut arah jam dan tanggalkan.  Raj. 14

5. Masukkan makanan yang diproses ke dalam bekas yang sesuai atau hidangkan terus.  Raj. 15

Petua Bersihkan semua bahagian sebaik

sahaja digunakan sehingga sisa tidak kering.

Isi sedikit air sabun ke dalam bekas pengadun untuk prapembersihan dan hidupkan peranti untuk beberapa saat.

7Pembersihan dan penjagaan

7.1Agen pembersih Ketahui agen pembersih yang sesuai untuk aksesori anda.

PERHATIAN! Agen pembersih yang tidak sesuai atau pembersihan yang tidak betul boleh merosakkan aksesori. Jangan gunakan agen pembersih

yang mengandungi alkohol. Jangan gunakan objek tajam,

berbucu atau logam. Jangan gunakan kain atau agen

pembersih yang melelas.

PERHATIAN! Makanan yang tidak sesuai boleh merosakkan peranti. Jangan proses makanan panas

yang lebih daripada 70 C di dalam bekas pengadun.

Nota Batasan pemprosesan: Jangan cincang bahan seperti

badam, bawang, pasli dan daging. Pengadun tidak dapat

menghasilkan lepa seperti mentega kacang tanah, mentega kelapa atau mentega kacang.

Campurkan makanan pepejal dengan cecair yang mencukupi.

Campurkan makanan serbuk dengan cecair yang mencukupi atau larutkan sepenuhnya dalam cecair sebelum diadunkan. Makanan serbuk, contohnya gula aising, serbuk koko, kacang soya panggang, tepung, serbuk protein.
