Safety instructions General Power Tool Safety Warnings

WARNING Read all safety warnings, instruc- tions, illustrations and specifica-

tions provided with this power tool. Failure to follow all in- structions listed below may result in electric shock, fire and/ or serious injury. Save all warnings and instructions for future reference. The term "power tool" in the warnings refers to your mains- operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated (cord- less) power tool.

Work area safety u Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark

areas invite accidents. u Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres,

such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.

u Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.

Electrical safety u Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify

the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock.

u Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded sur- faces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerat- ors. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.

u Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of elec- tric shock.

u Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carry- ing, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.

u When operating a power tool outdoors, use an exten- sion cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord suit- able for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.

u If operating a power tool in a damp location is un- avoidable, use a residual current device (RCD) protec- ted supply. Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.

Personal safety u Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common

sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a

power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inatten- tion while operating power tools may result in serious per- sonal injury.

u Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as a dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal in- juries.

u Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to power source and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or en- ergising power tools that have the switch on invites acci- dents.

u Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal in- jury.

u Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.

u Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jew- ellery. Keep your hair and clothing away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.

u If devices are provided for the connection of dust ex- traction and collection facilities, ensure these are con- nected and properly used. Use of dust collection can re- duce dust-related hazards.

u Do not let familiarity gained from frequent use of tools allow you to become complacent and ignore tool safety principles. A careless action can cause severe in- jury within a fraction of a second.

Power tool use and care u Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power

tool for your application. The correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was de- signed.

u Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.

u Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or re- move the battery pack, if detachable, from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing ac- cessories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.

u Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.

u Maintain power tools and accessories. Check for mis- alignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the power tools operation. If damaged, have the power

tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.

u Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly main- tained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.

u Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with these instructions, taking into ac- count the working conditions and the work to be per- formed. Use of the power tool for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.

u Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, clean and free from oil and grease. Slippery handles and grasping surfaces do not allow for safe handling and control of the tool in unexpected situations.

Battery tool use and care u Recharge only with the charger specified by the manu-

facturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of bat- tery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.

u Use power tools only with specifically designated bat- tery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.

u When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.

u Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally oc- curs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, addi- tionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the bat- tery may cause irritation or burns.

u Do not use a battery pack or tool that is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behaviour resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.

u Do not expose a battery pack or tool to fire or excess- ive temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature above 130C may cause explosion.

u Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or tool outside the temperature range specified in the instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside the specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.

Service u Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair

person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.

u Never service damaged battery packs. Service of bat- tery packs should only be performed by the manufacturer or authorized service providers.

Safety Warnings for Impact Wrenches u Hold the power tool by insulated gripping surfaces,

when performing an operation where the fastener may contact hidden wiring. Fasteners contacting a "live" wire may make exposed metal parts of the power tool "live" and could give the operator an electric shock.

u Use suitable detectors to determine if there are hid- den supply lines or contact the local utility company for assistance. Contact with electric cables can cause fire and electric shock. Damaging gas lines can lead to ex- plosion. Breaking water pipes causes property damage.

u Hold the power tool securely. When tightening and loosening screws be prepared for temporarily high torque reactions.

u Secure the workpiece. A workpiece clamped with clamping devices or in a vice is held more secure than by hand.

u Always wait until the power tool has come to a com- plete stop before placing it down. The application tool can jam and cause you to lose control of the power tool.

u In case of damage and improper use of the battery, va- pours may be emitted. The battery can set alight or ex- plode. Ensure the area is well ventilated and seek medical attention should you experience any adverse effects. The vapours may irritate the respiratory system.

u Do not open the battery. There is a risk of short-circuit- ing.

u The battery can be damaged by pointed objects such as nails or screwdrivers or by force applied externally. An internal short circuit may occur, causing the battery to burn, smoke, explode or overheat.

u Only use the battery with products from the manufac- turer. This is the only way in which you can protect the battery against dangerous overload.

Protect the battery against heat, e.g. against continuous intense sunlight, fire, dirt, water and moisture. There is a risk of explosion and short-circuiting.

Read the corresponding operating instructions for informa- tion about the GCY 30-4 Bluetooth Low Energy Module. u Caution! When using the power tool with Bluetooth, a

fault may occur in other devices and systems, aero- planes and medical devices (e.g. pacemakers, hearing aids). Also, damage to people and animals in the im- mediate vicinity cannot be completely excluded. Do not use the power tool with Bluetooth in the vicinity of medical devices, petrol stations, chemical plants, areas with a potentially explosive atmosphere or in blasting areas. Do not use the power tool with Bluetooth in aircraft. Avoid using the product near your body for extended periods.

The vibration level and noise emission value given in these instructions have been measured in accordance with a standardised measuring procedure and may be used to com- pare power tools. They may also be used for a preliminary estimation of vibration and noise emissions. The stated vibration level and noise emission value repres- ent the main applications of the power tool. However, if the power tool is used for other applications, with different ap- plication tools or is poorly maintained, the vibration level and noise emission value may differ. This may significantly increase the vibration and noise emissions over the total working period. To estimate vibration and noise emissions accurately, the times when the tool is switched off or when it is running but not actually being used should also be taken into account. This may significantly reduce vibration and noise emissions over the total working period. Implement additional safety measures to protect the oper- ator from the effects of vibration, such as servicing the power tool and application tools, keeping their hands warm, and organising workflows correctly.

Assembly u Remove the battery from the power tool before carry-

ing out work on the power tool (e.g. maintenance,

changing tool, etc.). The battery should also be re- moved for transport and storage. There is risk of injury from unintentionally pressing the on/off switch.

Battery Charging u Use only the chargers listed in the technical data. Only

these chargers are matched to the lithium-ion battery of your power tool.

Note: The battery is supplied partially charged. To ensure full battery capacity, fully charge the battery in the charger before using your power tool for the first time. The lithium-ion battery can be charged at any time without reducing its service life. Interrupting the charging process does not damage the battery. The lithium-ion battery is protected against deep discharge by the "Electronic Cell Protection (ECP)". When the battery is discharged, the power tool is switched off by means of a protective circuit: The application tool no longer rotates. u Do not continue to press the On/Off switch after the

power tool has automatically switched off. The battery can be damaged.

Observe the notes for disposal.

Removing the Battery The battery (6) is equipped with two locking levels to pre- vent the battery from falling out when pushing the battery re- lease button (7) unintentionally. As long as the battery is in- serted in the power tool, it is held in position by means of a spring. To remove the battery (6), press the release button (7) and pull the battery out of the power tool. Do not use force to do this.

Battery Charge Indicator The green LEDs on the battery charge indicator (20) indic- ate the state of charge of the battery (6). For safety reasons, it is only possible to check the state of charge when the power tool has been stopped.

Press the battery charge indicator button (19) to show the state of charge. This is also possible when the battery is re- moved. If no LED lights up after pressing the battery charge indicator button (19), the battery is defective and must be replaced.

Changing the Tool u Remove the battery from the power tool before carry-

ing out work on the power tool (e.g. maintenance, changing tool, etc.). The battery should also be re- moved for transport and storage. There is risk of injury from unintentionally pressing the on/off switch.

u Regularly clean the power tools air vents. The motors fan can draw the dust inside the housing and excessive accumulation of powdered metal may cause electrical hazards.

Use application tool: GDR/GDX 18 V-200 C (see figure A  B) Pull the locking sleeve (2) forward, guide the application tool (1) into the tool holder up to the stop and release the locking sleeve (2) to lock the application tool. Impact-proof screwdriver bits (17) can be inserted using a universal bit holder with ball catch (16). Use application tool: GDX/GDS 18 V-200 C (see figure B  C) u When working with an application tool, pay attention

that the application tool is connected securely to the tool holder. When the application tool is not securely connected with the tool holder, it can come off during ap- plication.

Slide the application tool (18) onto the square drive of the tool holder (1). Due to the way the system operates, the application tool (18) will move around slightly in the tool holder (1); this has no influence on the function/safety.

Some application tools (e.g. double bits) cannot be safely secured in the tool holder.

Removing Pull the locking sleeve (2) forward and remove the applica- tion tool.

Operation Method of Operation The tool holder (1) (with the application tool) is driven by an electric motor via a gear and impact mechanism. The working procedure is divided into two phases: Screwing in and tightening (impact mechanism in action). The impact mechanism is activated as soon as the screwed connection runs tight and load is therefore put on the motor. The impact mechanism then converts the power of the mo- tor to steady rotary impacts. When loosening screws or nuts, the process is reversed.

Starting Operation Inserting the Battery u Use only original Bosch lithium-ion batteries with the

voltage stated on the type plate of your power tool. Using other batteries can lead to injuries and pose a fire hazard.

Set the rotational direction switch (12) to the middle posi- tion to avoid unintentionally switching it on. Insert the charged battery (6) into the handle until you feel it engage and it is flush with the handle.

Set the rotational direction (see figure D) The rotational direction switch (12) is used to change the ro- tational direction of the power tool. However, this is not pos- sible while the on/off switch (13) is being pressed. Right rotation: To drive in screws and tighten nuts, press the rotational direction switch (12) through to the left stop. Left Rotation: To loosen and unscrew screws and nuts, press the rotational direction switch (12) through to the right stop.

Switching on/off To start the power tool, press and hold the on/off switch (13). To switch off the power tool, release the on/off switch (13).

Preselecting the speed/impact rate With the button (8), you can preselect the required speed/ impact rate in three stages. Press the button (8) repeatedly until the desired setting appears in the speed indicator (11). The selected setting will be saved. The required speed/impact rate is dependent on the mater- ial and the work conditions and can be determined by prac- tical trials.

Adjusting the Speed You can adjust the speed of the power tool when it is on by pressing in the on/off switch (13) to varying extents.

A light pressure on the on/off switch (13) results in a low ro- tational speed. Increased pressure on the switch causes an increase in speed.

Switching the "PowerLight" lamp on/off Press the button (10) to activate the lamp (9). To switch off the lamp (9), press the button (10) again.

Practical advice u Only apply the power tool to the screw/nut when the

tool is switched off. Rotating tool inserts can slip off. The torque depends on the impact duration. The maximum achieved torque results from the sum of all individual torques achieved through impact. Maximum torque is achieved after an impact duration of 610 seconds. After this duration, the tightening torque is increased only minim- ally. The impact duration is to be determined for each required tightening torque. The actually achieved tightening torque is always to be checked with a torque wrench. Screw applications with hard, spring-loaded or soft seats When the achieved torques in an impact series are measured during a test and transferred into a diagram, the result is the curve of a torque characteristic. The height of the curve cor-

responds with the maximum reachable torque, and the steepness indicates the duration in which this is achieved. A torque gradient depends on the following factors: Strength properties of the screws/nuts Type of backing (washer, disc spring, seal) Strength properties of the material being screwed/bolted

together Lubrication conditions at the screw/bolt connection The following application cases result accordingly: A hard seat is a metal-to-metal screw application which

uses washers. After a relatively short impact duration, the maximum torque is reached (steep characteristic curve). Unnecessary long impact duration only causes damage to the machine.

A spring-loaded seat is also a metal-to-metal screw ap- plication but uses spring washers, disc springs, studs or screws/nuts with conical seats. It is also called a spring- loaded seat when extensions are used.

A soft seat is a screw application of e.g. metal on wood or a screw application that uses lead washers or fibre wash- ers as backing.

For a spring-loaded seat as well as for a soft seat, the max- imum tightening torque is lower than for a hard seat. Also, a clearly longer impact duration is required.

Guide values for maximum screw tightening torques Figures given in Nm; calculated from the tensional cross-section; utilization of the yield point: 90% (with friction coefficient total = 0.12). As a control measure, always check the tightening torque with a torque wrench.

Tips Before screwing larger, longer screws into hard materials, it is advisable to pre-drill a pilot hole with the core diameter of the thread to approx. 2/3 of the screw length. Note: Ensure that no metal particles enter the power tool. After working at a low speed for an extended period, you should operate the power tool at the maximum speed for ap- proximately three minutes without load to cool it down. Belt clip You can use the belt clip (5) to hang the power tool on a belt, for example. You then have both hands free and the power tool is always at hand. Recommendations for optimal handling of the battery Protect the battery against moisture and water. Only store the battery within a temperature range of -20 to 50 C. Do not leave the battery in your car in the summer, for example.

A significantly reduced operating time after charging indic- ates that the battery has deteriorated and must be replaced. Follow the instructions on correct disposal.

u Clean the tool holder (1) and locking sleeve (2) from time to time and grease them lightly with 1 600 A00 2NE grease.

Transport The contained lithium-ion batteries are subject to the Dan- gerous Goods Legislation requirements. The batteries are suitable for road-transport by the user without further re- strictions. When shipping by third parties (e.g.: by air transport or for- warding agency), special requirements on packaging and la- belling must be observed. For preparation of the item being shipped, consulting an expert for hazardous material is re- quired. Dispatch battery packs only when the housing is undam- aged. Tape or mask off open contacts and pack up the bat- tery in such a manner that it cannot move around in the packaging. Please also observe the possibility of more de- tailed national regulations.

Scurit de la zone de travail u Conserver la zone de travail propre et bien claire.

Les zones en dsordre ou sombres sont propices aux ac- cidents.

u Ne pas faire fonctionner les outils lectriques en at- mosphre explosive, par exemple en prsence de li- quides inflammables, de gaz ou de poussires. Les ou- tils lectriques produisent des tincelles qui peuvent en- flammer les poussires ou les fumes.

Scurit lectrique u Il faut que les fiches de loutil lectrique soient adap-

tes au socle. Ne jamais modifier la fiche de quelque faon que ce soit. Ne pas utiliser dadaptateurs avec des outils lectriques branchement de terre. Des fiches non modifies et des socles adapts rduisent le risque de choc lectrique.

u viter tout contact du corps avec des surfaces relies la terre telles que les tuyaux, les radiateurs, les cui- sinires et les rfrigrateurs. Il existe un risque accru de choc lectrique si votre corps est reli la terre.

u Ne pas exposer les outils lectriques la pluie ou des conditions humides. La pntration deau lintrieur dun outil lectrique augmente le risque de choc lec- trique.

u Ne pas maltraiter le cordon. Ne jamais utiliser le cor- don pour porter, tirer ou dbrancher loutil lectrique. Maintenir le cordon lcart de la chaleur, du lubri- fiant, des artes vives ou des parties en mouvement.

Des cordons endommags ou emmls augmentent le risque de choc lectrique.

u Lorsquon utilise un outil lectrique lextrieur, utili- ser un prolongateur adapt lutilisation extrieure. Lutilisation dun cordon adapt lutilisation extrieure rduit le risque de choc lectrique.

u Si l'usage d'un outil lectrique dans un emplacement humide est invitable, utiliser une alimentation prot- ge par un dispositif courant diffrentiel rsiduel (RCD). L'usage d'un RCD rduit le risque de choc lec- trique.

Scurit des personnes u Rester vigilant, regarder ce que vous tes en train de

faire et faire preuve de bon sens dans votre utilisation de loutil lectrique. Ne pas utiliser un outil lectrique lorsque vous tes fatigu ou sous lemprise de drogues, de lalcool ou de mdicaments. Un moment dinattention en cours dutilisation dun outil lectrique peut entraner des blessures graves.

u Utiliser un quipement de protection individuelle. Toujours porter une protection pour les yeux. Les quipements de protection individuelle tels que les masques contre les poussires, les chaussures de scuri- t antidrapantes, les casques ou les protections audi- tives utiliss pour les conditions appropries rduisent les blessures.

u viter tout dmarrage intempestif. Sassurer que lin- terrupteur est en position arrt avant de brancher loutil au secteur et/ou au bloc de batteries, de le ra- masser ou de le porter. Porter les outils lectriques en ayant le doigt sur linterrupteur ou brancher des outils lectriques dont linterrupteur est en position marche est source daccidents.

u Retirer toute cl de rglage avant de mettre loutil lectrique en marche. Une cl laisse fixe sur une par- tie tournante de loutil lectrique peut donner lieu des blessures.

u Ne pas se prcipiter. Garder une position et un qui- libre adapts tout moment. Cela permet un meilleur contrle de loutil lectrique dans des situations inatten- dues.

u Shabiller de manire adapte. Ne pas porter de vte- ments amples ou de bijoux. Garder les cheveux et les vtements distance des parties en mouvement. Des vtements amples, des bijoux ou les cheveux longs peuvent tre pris dans des parties en mouvement.

u Si des dispositifs sont fournis pour le raccordement dquipements pour lextraction et la rcupration des poussires, sassurer quils sont connects et correc- tement utiliss. Utiliser des collecteurs de poussire peut rduire les risques dus aux poussires.

u Rester vigilant et ne pas ngliger les principes de s- curit de l'outil sous prtexte que vous avez l'habitude de l'utiliser. Une fraction de seconde d'inattention peut provoquer une blessure grave.

Utilisation et entretien de loutil lectrique u Ne pas forcer loutil lectrique. Utiliser loutil lec-

trique adapt votre application. Loutil lectrique adapt ralise mieux le travail et de manire plus sre au rgime pour lequel il a t construit.

u Ne pas utiliser loutil lectrique si linterrupteur ne permet pas de passer de ltat de marche arrt et in- versement. Tout outil lectrique qui ne peut pas tre command par linterrupteur est dangereux et il faut le r- parer.

u Dbrancher la fiche de la source dalimentation et/ou enlever le bloc de batteries, s'il est amovible, avant tout rglage, changement daccessoires ou avant de ranger loutil lectrique. De telles mesures de scurit prventives rduisent le risque de dmarrage accidentel de loutil lectrique.

u Conserver les outils lectriques larrt hors de la porte des enfants et ne pas permettre des per- sonnes ne connaissant pas loutil lectrique ou les pr- sentes instructions de le faire fonctionner. Les outils lectriques sont dangereux entre les mains dutilisateurs novices.

u Observer la maintenance des outils lectriques et des accessoires. Vrifier quil ny a pas de mauvais aligne- ment ou de blocage des parties mobiles, des pices casses ou toute autre condition pouvant affecter le fonctionnement de loutil lectrique. En cas de dom- mages, faire rparer loutil lectrique avant de lutili- ser. De nombreux accidents sont dus des outils lec- triques mal entretenus.

u Garder affts et propres les outils permettant de couper. Des outils destins couper correctement en- tretenus avec des pices coupantes tranchantes sont moins susceptibles de bloquer et sont plus faciles contrler.

u Utiliser loutil lectrique, les accessoires et les lames etc., conformment ces instructions, en tenant compte des conditions de travail et du travail rali- ser. Lutilisation de loutil lectrique pour des oprations diffrentes de celles prvues peut donner lieu des situa- tions dangereuses.

u Il faut que les poignes et les surfaces de prhension restent sches, propres et dpourvues d'huiles et de graisses. Des poignes et des surfaces de prhension glissantes rendent impossibles la manipulation et le contrle en toute scurit de l'outil dans les situations in- attendues.

Utilisation des outils fonctionnant sur batteries et prcautions demploi u Ne recharger quavec le chargeur spcifi par le fabri-

cant. Un chargeur qui est adapt un type de bloc de batteries peut crer un risque de feu lorsquil est utilis avec un autre type de bloc de batteries.

u Nutiliser les outils lectriques quavec des blocs de batteries spcifiquement dsigns. Lutilisation de tout

autre bloc de batteries peut crer un risque de blessure et de feu.

u Lorsquun bloc de batteries nest pas utilis, le mainte- nir lcart de tout autre objet mtallique, par exemple trombones, pices de monnaie, cls, clous, vis ou autres objets de petite taille qui peuvent donner lieu une connexion dune borne une autre. Le court- circuitage des bornes dune batterie entre elles peut cau- ser des brlures ou un feu.

u Dans de mauvaises conditions, du liquide peut tre ject de la batterie; viter tout contact. En cas de contact accidentel, nettoyer leau. Si le liquide entre en contact avec les yeux, rechercher en plus une aide mdicale. Le liquide ject des batteries peut causer des irritations ou des brlures.

u Ne pas utiliser un bloc de batteries ou un outil fonc- tionnant sur batteries qui a t endommag ou modi- fi. Les batteries endommages ou modifies peuvent avoir un comportement imprvisible provoquant un feu, une explosion ou un risque de blessure.

u Ne pas exposer un bloc de batteries ou un outil fonc- tionnant sur batteries au feu ou une temprature ex- cessive. Une exposition au feu ou une temprature su- prieure 130C peut provoquer une explosion.

u Suivre toutes les instructions de charge et ne pas charger le bloc de batteries ou l'outil fonctionnant sur batteries hors de la plage de tempratures spcifie dans les instructions. Un chargement incorrect ou des tempratures hors de la plage spcifie de tempratures peut endommager la batterie et augmenter le risque de feu.

Maintenance et entretien u Faire entretenir loutil lectrique par un rparateur

qualifi utilisant uniquement des pices de rechange identiques. Cela assure le maintien de la scurit de lou- til lectrique.

u Ne jamais effectuer d'opration d'entretien sur des blocs de batteries endommags. Il convient que l'entre- tien des blocs de batteries ne soit effectu que par le fa- bricant ou les fournisseurs de service autoriss.

Consignes de scurit pour visseuses chocs u Tenir l'outil lectrique par les surfaces de prhension,

au cours d'une opration o la fixation peut tre en contact avec un cblage cach. Les fixations en contact avec un fil "sous tension" peuvent "mettre sous tension" les parties mtalliques exposes de l'outil lectrique et provoquer un choc lectrique chez l'oprateur.

u Utilisez un dtecteur appropri pour vrifier sil ny a pas de conduites caches ou contactez votre socit de distribution deau locale. Tout contact avec des cbles lectriques peut provoquer un incendie ou un choc lectrique. Tout endommagement dune conduite de gaz peut provoquer une explosion. La perforation dune conduite deau provoque des dgts matriels.

u Maintenez bien l'outil lectroportatif en place. Lors du serrage ou du desserrage des vis, des couples de raction levs peuvent survenir en peu de temps.

u Bloquez la pice travailler. Une pice travailler ser- re par des dispositifs de serrage appropris ou dans un tau est fixe de manire plus sre que quand elle est te- nue avec une main.

u Avant de poser loutil lectroportatif, attendez que ce- luici soit compltement larrt. Loutil risque de se coincer, ce qui entranerait une perte de contrle de lou- til lectroportatif.

u Si laccu est endommag ou utilis de manire non conforme, des vapeurs peuvent schapper. Laccu peut brler ou exploser. Ventilez le local et consultez un mdecin en cas de malaise. Les vapeurs peuvent entra- ner des irritations des voies respiratoires.

u Nouvrez pas laccu. Risque de court-circuit. u Les objets pointus comme un clou ou un tournevis et le

fait dexercer une force extrieure sur le botier risque dendommager laccu. Il peut en rsulter un court-circuit interne et laccu risque de senflammer, de dgager des fumes, dexploser ou de surchauffer.

u Nutilisez laccu quavec des produits du fabricant. Tout risque de surcharge dangereuse sera alors exclu.

Conservez la batterie labri de la chaleur, en la protgeant p. ex. de l'ensoleillement direct, du feu, de la salet, de leau et de lhumidit. Il existe un risque d'explosion et de courts-circuits.

Pour une estimation prcise du niveau de vibration et du ni- veau sonore, il faut aussi prendre en considration les p- riodes pendant lesquelles loutil est teint ou bien en marche sans tre vraiment en action. Il peut en rsulter au final un ni- veau de vibration et un niveau sonore nettement plus faibles pendant toute la dure de travail. Prvoyez des mesures de protection supplmentaires per- mettant de protger lutilisateur de leffet des vibrations, par exemple : maintenance de loutil lectroportatif et des acces- soires de travail, maintien des mains au chaud, organisation des procdures de travail.

Montage u Retirez laccu de lappareil lectroportatif avant toute

intervention (oprations dentretien/de maintenance, changement daccessoire, etc.) ainsi que lors de son transport et rangement. Il y a sinon risque de blessure lorsquon appuie par mgarde sur linterrupteur Marche/ Arrt.

Charge de laccu u Nutilisez que les chargeurs indiqus dans les Caract-

ristiques techniques. Ils sont les seuls tre adapts laccu Lithium-Ion de votre outil lectroportatif.

Remarque : Laccu est fourni partiellement charg. Pour ob- tenir les performances maximales, chargez laccu jusqu sa pleine capacit avant la premire utilisation. Laccu Lithium-Ion peut tre recharg tout moment, sans risquer de rduire sa dure de vie. Le fait dinterrompre le processus de charge nendommage pas laccu. Laccu Lithium-Ion est protg contre une dcharge com- plte par  Electronic Cell Protection (ECP)  (llectronique de protection des cellules). Lorsque laccu est dcharg, loutil lectroportatif sarrte grce un dispositif darrt de protection : laccessoire de travail ne tourne plus. u Aprs larrt automatique de loutil lectroportatif,

nappuyez plus sur linterrupteur Marche/Arrt. Laccu pourrait tre endommag.

Respectez les indications concernant llimination.

Retrait de laccu Laccu (6) dispose de deux positions de verrouillage permet- tant dviter que laccu tombe si lon appuie par mgarde sur la touche de dverrouillage de laccu (7). Tant que laccu reste en place dans loutil lectroportatif, un ressort le main- tient en position. Pour retirer laccu (6), appuyez sur la touche de dver- rouillage (7) et dgagez laccu de loutil lectroportatif. Ne forcez pas.

Indicateur de niveau de charge de laccu Les LED vertes de lindicateur dtat de charge (20) in- diquent le niveau de charge de laccu (6). Pour des raisons de scurit, il nest possible dafficher ltat de charge que quand loutil lectroportatif est larrt. Pour afficher le niveau de charge, actionnez le bouton (19) de lindicateur de niveau de charge. Laffichage du niveau de charge est galement possible aprs retrait de laccu. Si aucune LED ne sallume aprs avoir appuy sur le bouton (19), laccu est dfectueux et doit tre remplac.

u Nettoyer rgulirement les fentes daration de loutil lectrique. Le ventilateur du moteur peut attirer la pous- sire lintrieur du botier et une accumulation excessive de mtal fritt peut provoquer des dangers lectriques.

Mise en place de laccessoire : GDR/GDX 18V-200 C (voir figure AB) Tirez la bague de verrouillage (2) vers lavant, enfoncez lac- cessoire de travail fond dans le porte-outil (1) et relchez la bague de verrouillage (2) afin de bloquer laccessoire. Pour les embouts de vissage spcial percussion (17), il faut utiliser un porte-embout universel avec gorge billes (16).

Mise en place de laccessoire : GDX/GDS 18V-200 C (voir figures BC) u Veillez bien fixer laccessoire de travail sur le porte-

outil lors de sa mise en place. Si laccessoire de travail nest pas fix correctement, il peut se dtacher lors des vissages.

Placez laccessoire (18) sur le carr mle du porte-outil (1).

De par sa conception, laccessoire de travail (1) prsente un peu de jeu une fois mont sur le porte-outil (18) ; ceci na au- cune incidence sur le fonctionnement et la scurit. Certains accessoires de travail (par ex. les embouts doubles) ne peuvent pas tre logs correctement dans le porte-outil.

Retrait dun accessoire de travail Tirez la douille de verrouillage (2) vers lavant et sortez lac- cessoire de travail.

Mise en marche Fonctionnement Le porte-outil (1) et laccessoire de travail sont entrans par un moteur lectrique par lintermdiaire dun engrenage et dun mcanisme de frappe. Lopration se droule en deux phases : vissage puis serrage (mcanisme de frappe en action). Le mcanisme de frappe entre en action ds que la vis est serre et que le moteur est sollicit. Le mcanisme de frappe transforme ainsi la puissance du moteur en impacts de rota- tion rguliers. Lors du desserrage des vis ou des crous, lopration se droule dans lordre inverse.

Mise en marche Montage de laccu u Nutilisez que des accus Lithium-Ion Bosch dorigine

dont la tension correspond celle indique sur la plaque signaltique de loutil lectroportatif. Lutilisa- tion de tout autre accu prsente des risques de blessures et dincendie.

Mettez le slecteur de sens de rotation (12) en position m- diane pour viter toute mise en marche non-intentionnelle. Montez laccu charg (6) dans la poigne jusqu ce quil sencliquette de faon perceptible et affleure avec la poi- gne.

Slection du sens de rotation (voir figure D) Le slecteur de sens de rotation (12) permet dinverser le sens de rotation de loutil lectroportatif. Cela nest toutefois pas possible lorsquon appuie sur linterrupteur Marche/Ar- rt (13). Rotation droite : Pour serrer des vis et des crous, action- nez le slecteur de sens de rotation (12) fond vers la gauche. Rotation gauche : Pour desserrer ou dvisser des vis et des crous, actionnez le slecteur de sens de rotation (12) fond vers la droite.

Mise en marche/arrt Pour mettre en marche loutil lectroportatif, actionnez lin- terrupteur Marche/Arrt (13) et maintenez-le actionn. Pour arrter loutil lectroportatif, relchez linterrupteur Marche/Arrt (13).

Prrglage de la vitesse de rotation/de la frquence de frappe La touche (8) permet de prrgler la vitesse de rotation/la frquence de frappe souhaite dans 3 positions. Actionnez la touche (8) de faon rpte jusqu ce quapparaisse le rglage souhait sur lindicateur de vitesse (11). La position de rglage est mmorise. La vitesse de rotation/la frquence de frappe requise d- pend du type de matriau et des conditions de travail. Elle doit tre dtermine lors dessais pratiques.

Rglage de la vitesse de rotation Il est possible de faire varier en continu la vitesse de rotation de loutil lectroportatif en exerant plus ou moins de pres- sion sur linterrupteur Marche/Arrt (13). Une lgre pression sur linterrupteur Marche/Arrt (13) produit une faible vitesse de rotation. Plus lon exerce de pression, plus la vitesse de rotation augmente.

Allumage/extinction de lclairage  PowerLight  Pour allumer lclairage (9), actionnez la touche (10). Pour teindre lclairage (9), actionnez nouveau la touche (10).

Instructions dutilisation u Positionnez loutil lectroportatif sur la vis/sur lcrou

seulement lorsquil est larrt. Un accessoire en rota- tion risque de glisser.

Le couple dpend de la dure de frappe. Le couple maximal atteint rsulte de la somme des couples gnrs lors de chaque frappe. Le couple maximal est atteint au bout dune dure de frappe de 6 10 secondes. Au del de cette dure, le couple de serrage naugmente plus que faiblement. Il est ncessaire de dterminer la dure de frappe pour chaque couple de serrage. Toujours contrler le couple rel- lement atteint laide dune cl dynamomtrique. Vissages durs, lastiques et tendres Si, lors dun essai, les couples atteints dans une srie de frappe sont mesurs et transmis sur un diagramme, on ob- tient la courbe caractristique du couple. Le sommet de courbe indique le couple maximum que lon peut atteindre, la pente indique le temps pendant lequel ce couple est at- teint. La courbe dpend des facteurs suivants : rsistance des vis/crous nature du support (rondelle, rondelle lastique, joint) rsistance du matriau visser conditions de graissage lendroit de vissage En consquence, il en rsulte les types de vissage suivants : Un vissage dur dsigne un vissage mtal sur mtal avec

utilisation de rondelles. Le couple maximal est atteint au bout dun temps de frappe relativement court (pente raide de la courbe caractristique). Une prolongation in- utile du temps de frappe est prjudiciable loutil.

Un vissage lastique dsigne un vissage mtal sur mtal, mais avec utilisation de rondelles lastiques, de rondelles ressorts, de goujons ou de vis/crous coniques ainsi quavec utilisation de rallonges.

Un vissage tendre dsigne un vissage mtal sur bois p. ex. ou avec utilisation de rondelles en plomb ou en fibre comme intercalaire.

Dans le cas dun vissage lastique ou tendre, le couple de serrage maximal est plus faible que dans le cas dun vissage dur. De mme, un temps de frappe beaucoup plus long est ncessaire.

Valeurs indicatives pour les couples de serrage de vis maximaux Indiques en Nm, calcules partir de la section de rsistance ; utilisation de la limite dlasticit 90 % (pour un coefficient de frottement tot = 0,12). Contrlez toujours le couple laide dune cl dynamomtrique.

Conseils Avant de visser des vis de gros diamtre ou trs longues dans des matriaux durs, il est recommand deffectuer un prperage au diamtre intrieur de filetage sur approxima- tivement les 2/3 de la longueur de la vis. Remarque : Veillez ce quaucune pice mtallique (pice de fixation par ex.) ne pntre dans loutil lectroportatif. Aprs avoir travaill une petite vitesse pendant une p- riode relativement longue, faites tourner loutil lectroporta- tif vide au rgime maximal pendant une dure de 3 minutes environ afin de le laisser refroidir. Clip de ceinture Le clip de ceinture (5) permet daccrocher loutil lectropor- tatif une ceinture ou autre. Vous avez donc les deux mains libres et loutil lectroportatif est tout moment porte de main. Indications pour lutilisation optimale de laccu Protgez laccu de lhumidit et de leau. Ne stockez laccu que dans la plage de tempratures de 20 50 C. Ne laissez par ex. pas laccu dans une voiture en plein t. Une baisse notable de lautonomie de laccu au fil des re- charges effectues indique que laccu est arriv en fin de vie et quil doit tre remplac. Respectez les indications concernant llimination.

Segurana da rea de trabalho u Mantenha a sua rea de trabalho sempre limpa e bem

u Manter o aparelho afastado de chuva ou humidade. A infiltrao de gua numa ferramenta elctrica aumenta o risco de choque elctrico.

u No dever utilizar o cabo para outras finalidades. Nunca utilizar o cabo para transportar a ferramenta elctrica, para pendurla, nem para puxar a ficha da tomada. Manter o cabo afastado do calor, do leo, de

u Se trabalhar com uma ferramenta elctrica ao ar livre, s dever utilizar cabos de extenso apropriados para reas exteriores. A utilizao de um cabo de extenso apropriado para reas exteriores reduz o risco de um choque elctrico.

u Se no for possvel evitar o funcionamento da ferramenta elctrica em reas hmidas, dever ser utilizado um disjuntor de corrente de avaria. A utilizao de um disjuntor de corrente de avaria reduz o risco de um choque elctrico.

Segurana de pessoas u Esteja atento, observe o que est a fazer e tenha

prudncia ao trabalhar com a ferramenta elctrica. No utilizar uma ferramenta elctrica quando estiver fatigado ou sob a influncia de drogas, lcool ou medicamentos. Um momento de descuido ao utilizar a ferramenta elctrica, pode levar a leses graves.

u Utilizar equipamento de proteco individual. Utilizar sempre culos de proteco. A utilizao de equipamento de proteco pessoal, como mscara de proteco contra p, sapatos de segurana antiderrapantes, capacete de segurana ou proteco auricular, de acordo com o tipo e aplicao da ferramenta elctrica, reduz o risco de leses.

u Evitar uma colocao em funcionamento involuntria. Assegurese de que a ferramenta elctrica esteja desligada, antes de conectla alimentao de rede e/ou ao acumulador, antes de levantla ou de transportla. Se tiver o dedo no interruptor ao transportar a ferramenta elctrica ou se o aparelho for conectado alimentao de rede enquanto estiver ligado, podero ocorrer acidentes.

u Remover ferramentas de ajuste ou chaves de boca antes de ligar a ferramenta elctrica. Uma ferramenta ou chave que se encontre numa parte do aparelho em movimento pode levar a leses.

u Se for possvel montar dispositivos de aspirao ou de recolha, assegurese de que estejam conectados e utilizados correctamente. A utilizao de uma aspirao de p pode reduzir o perigo devido ao p.

u No deixe que a familiaridade resultante de uma utilizao frequente de ferramentas permita que voc se torne complacente e ignore os princpios de segurana da ferramenta. Uma aco descuidada pode causar ferimentos graves numa fraco de segundo.

u Puxar a ficha da tomada e/ou remover o acumulador, se amovvel, antes de executar ajustes na ferramenta elctrica, de substituir acessrios ou de guardar as ferramentas elctricas. Esta medida de segurana evita o arranque involuntrio da ferramenta elctrica.

u Guardar ferramentas elctricas no utilizadas fora do alcance de crianas e no permitir que as pessoas que no estejam familiarizadas com o aparelho ou que no tenham lido estas instrues utilizem o aparelho. Ferramentas elctricas so perigosas se forem utilizadas por pessoas inexperientes.

u Tratar a ferramenta elctrica e os acessrios com cuidado. Controlar se as partes mveis do aparelho funcionam perfeitamente e no emperram, e se h peas quebradas ou danificadas que possam prejudicar o funcionamento da ferramenta elctrica. u Mantenha os punhos e as superfcies de agarrar secas, limpas e livres de leo e massa consistente. Punhos e superfcies de agarrar escorregadias no permitem o manuseio e controle seguros da ferramenta em situaes inesperadas.

u No caso de aplicao incorrecta pode vazar lquido do acumulador. Evitar o contacto. No caso de um contacto acidental, dever enxaguar com gua. Se o lquido entrar em contacto com os olhos, tambm dever consultar um mdico. Lquido que escapa do acumulador pode levar a irritaes da pele ou a queimaduras.

u No use um acumulador ou uma ferramenta danificada ou modificada. Os acumuladores danificados ou modificados exibem um comportamento imprevisvel podendo causar incndio, exploso ou risco de leso.

u No exponha o acumulador ou a ferramenta ao fogo ou temperatura excessiva. A exposio ao fogo ou a temperaturas acima de 130 C pode causar exploso.

u Siga todas as instrues de carregamento e no carregue o acumulador ou a ferramenta fora da faixa de temperatura especificada no manual de instrues. Carregar indevidamente ou em temperaturas fora da faixa especificada pode danificar o acumulador e aumentar o risco de incndio.

u Nunca tente reparar acumuladores danificados. A reparao de acumuladores deve ser realizada apenas pelo fabricante ou agentes de assistncia autorizados.

Indicaes de segurana para aparafusadoras de impacto u Segure a ferramenta eltrica nas superfcies de

agarrar isoladas, ao executar uma operao onde o parafuso possa entrar em contacto com cabos escondidos. O contacto do parafuso com um fio "sob tenso" ir colocar as partes metlicas expostas da ferramenta eltrica "sob tenso" e produzir um choque eltrico.

u Utilizar detetores apropriados, para encontrar cabos escondidos, ou consulte a companhia eltrica local. O contacto com cabos eltricos pode provocar fogo e choques eltricos. Danos em tubos de gs podem levar exploso. A infiltrao num cano de gua provoca danos materiais.

u Segure bem a ferramenta eltrica. Ao apertar e soltar parafusos podem ocorrer temporariamente elevados momentos de reao.

u Fixar a pea a ser trabalhada. Uma pea a ser trabalhada fixa com dispositivos de aperto ou com torno de bancada est mais firme do que segurada com a mo.

u Espere que a ferramenta eltrica pare completamente, antes de depositla. A ferramenta de

aplicao pode emperrar e levar perda de controlo sobre a ferramenta eltrica.

u Em caso de danos e de utilizao incorreta da bateria, podem escapar vapores. A bateria pode incendiar-se ou explodir. Areje o espao e procure assistncia mdica no caso de apresentar queixas. possvel que os vapores irritem as vias respiratrias.

u No abrir o acumulador. H risco de um curto-circuito. u Os objetos afiados como, p. ex., pregos ou chaves de

fendas, assim como o efeito de foras externas podem danificar o acumulador. Podem causar um curto-circuito interno e o acumulador pode ficar queimado, deitar fumo, explodir ou sobreaquecer.

u Use a bateria apenas em produtos do fabricante. S assim que a bateria protegida contra sobrecarga perigosa.

Proteger a bateria contra calor, p. ex. tambm contra uma permanente radiao solar, fogo, sujidade, gua e humidade. H risco de exploso ou de um curto-circuito.

Tambm so adequados para uma avaliao provisria das emisses sonoras e de vibraes. O nvel de vibraes indicado e o valor de emisses sonoras representam as aplicaes principais da ferramenta eltrica. Carregar a bateria u Utilize apenas os carregadores listados nos dados

Nota: A bateria fornecida parcialmente carregada. Para assegurar a completa potncia da bateria, a bateria dever ser carregada completamente no carregador antes da primeira utilizao. A bateria de ltio pode ser carregada a qualquer altura, sem que a sua vida til seja reduzida. Uma interrupo do processo de carga no danifica a bateria. O acumulador de ies de ltio est protegido contra descarga completa pelo sistema "Electronic Cell Protection (ECP)". A ferramenta eltrica desligada atravs de um disjuntor de proteo, logo que o acumulador estiver descarregado. Retirar a bateria A bateria (6) possui dois nveis de travamento, que devem evitar, que a bateria caia, caso a tecla de desbloqueio (7) seja premida por acaso. Enquanto a bateria estiver dentro da ferramenta eltrica, ela mantido em posio por uma mola. Para retirar a bateria (6) pressione a tecla de desbloqueio (7) e puxe a bateria para a retirar da ferramenta eltrica. No empregar fora.

Indicador do nvel de carga da bateria Os LEDs verdes do indicador do nvel de carga da bateria (20) indicam o nvel de carga da bateria (6). Por motivos de segurana, a consulta do nvel de carga s possvel com a ferramenta eltrica parada. Prima a tecla indicador do nvel de carga (19), para visualizar o nvel de carga. Isto tambm possvel com a bateria removida.

Troca de ferramenta u A bateria dever ser retirada antes de todos os

Inserir ferramenta de trabalho: GDR/GDX 18V-200 C (ver figura A B) Puxe a bucha de travamento (2) para a frente, insira a ferramenta de trabalho at ao batente no encabadouro (1) e solte a bucha de travamento (2) para fixar a ferramenta de trabalho. Pode usar bits de aparafusamento (17) resistentes ao impacto utilizando adicionalmente um porta-bits universal com travamento de esfera (16).

Inserir ferramenta de trabalho: GDX/GDS 18V-200 C (ver figura B C) u Ao introduzir a ferramenta de trabalho, dever

assegurarse de que esta esteja bem segura no encabadouro. Se a ferramenta de trabalho no estiver seguramente unida com o encabadouro, possvel que possa se soltar durante o aparafusamento.

Introduza a ferramenta de trabalho (18) no quadrado do encabadouro (1). Condicionado pelo sistema, a ferramenta de trabalho (18) assenta com alguma folga no encabadouro (1); tal no tem qualquer influncia sobre o funcionamento/segurana.

Algumas ferramentas de trabalho (p. ex. bits duplos) no podem ser fixadas de forma segura no encabadouro.

Retirar a ferramenta de trabalho Puxe a bucha de travamento (2) para a frente e retire a ferramenta de trabalho.

Funcionamento Tipo de funcionamento A fixao da ferramenta (1) com a ferramenta de trabalho, acionada por um motor eltrico atravs de uma engrenagem e um mecanismo de percusso. O processo de trabalho estruturado em duas fases: aparafusar e apertar (mecanismo de percusso em ao). O mecanismo de percusso entra em ao assim que a unio aparafusada se imobilizar e sobrecarregar motor. O mecanismo de percusso transforma a fora do motor em golpes giratrios uniformes. Este processo invertido ao aparafusar parafusos ou porcas.

Colocao em funcionamento Colocar o acumulador u S utilizar baterias de ltio Bosch com a tenso

indicada na placa de caractersticas da sua ferramenta eltrica. A utilizao de outras baterias pode levar a leses e perigo de incndio.

Coloque o comutador do sentido de rotao (12) no centro para evitar um ligamento inadvertido. Coloque a bateria carregada (6)no punho at esta encaixar de forma audvel e ficar face com o punho.

Ajustar o sentido de rotao (ver imagem D) Com o comutador de sentido de rotao (12) possvel alterar o sentido de rotao da ferramenta eltrica. Com o interruptor de ligar/desligar pressionado (13) isto no entanto no possvel. Rotao direita: Premir o comutador do sentido de rotao (12) completamente para a esquerda, para atarraxar parafusos e apertar porcas. Rotao esquerda: para soltar ou retirar os parafusos pressione o conversor do sentido de rotao (12) para trs at ao batente.

Ligar/desligar Para a colocao em funcionamento da ferramenta eltrica dever pressionar o interruptor de ligar/desligar (13) e mantenha-o pressionado. Para desligar a ferramenta eltrica, liberte o interruptor de ligar/desligar (13).

Pr-selecionar o nmero de rotaes/impactos Com a tecla (8) pode pr-selecionar o nmero de rotaes/ impactos necessrio em 3 nveis. Prima a tecla (8) as vezes necessrias at que seja indicado o ajuste desejado na indicao do nmero de rotaes (11). O ajuste selecionado fica guardado.

O nmero de rotaes/impactos necessrio depende do material e das condies de trabalho e pode ser determinado por tentativas.

Ajustar o nmero de rotaes Pode regular a velocidade da ferramenta eltrica ligada de forma contnua, consoante a presso que faz no interruptor de ligar/desligar (13). Uma leve presso sobre o interruptor de ligar/desligar (13)proporciona um nmero de rotaes baixo. Aumentando a presso, aumentado o n. de rotaes.

Ligar/desligar a lmpada "PowerLight" Para a colocao em funcionamento da lmpada (9) prima a tecla (10). Para desligar a lmpada (9) prima a tecla (10) novamente.

Instrues de trabalho u Utilizar os punhos adicionais fornecidos com a

ferramenta eltrica. A perda de controle sobre a ferramenta eltrica pode levar a leses.

O binrio depende do perodo de percusso. O mximo binrio alcanvel resulta da soma de todos binrios individuais alcanados por golpes. O binrio mximo alcanado aps um perodo de percusso de 610 segundos. Aps este perodo o aumento do binrio de aperto mnimo. O perodo de percusso deve ser averiguado para cada binrio de aperto necessrio. O binrio de aperto realmente alcanado deve sempre ser controlado com uma chave dinamomtrica.

Aparafusamentos com assento duro, elstico ou macio Se durante um ensaio forem medidos, em sequncia, os binrios alcanados e anotados num diagrama, obtida uma curva do decurso do binrio. A altura da curva corresponde ao mximo binrio alcanvel, a inclinao indica o perodo no qual alcanado. Um decurso de binrio depende dos seguintes fatores: Rigidez dos parafusos/porcas Tipo da base (anilha, mola de disco, vedao) Rigidez do material a ser aparafusado Condies de lubrificao na unio aparafusada Respetivamente resultam as seguintes aplicaes: Assento duro para aparafusamentos de metal sobre

metal, utilizando anilhas. O mximo binrio alcanado aps um perodo de percusso relativamente curto (decurso ngreme da linha de caracterstica). Um perodo de percusso desnecessria s causa danos na mquina.

Assento elstico para aparafusamentos de metal sobre metal, no entanto utilizando arruelas de presso, molas de disco, cavilha roscada nas pontas ou parafusos/ porcas com assento cnico, assim como ao utilizar extenses.

Assento macio para aparafusamentos de metal sobre madeira, ou ao utilizar discos de chumbo ou de fibra como base.

Para o assento elstico ou para o assento macio o mximo binrio de aperto inferior ao do para o assento duro. Tambm necessrio um perodo de percusso bem mais longo.

Valores de referncia para binrio de aperto mximos de parafusos Indicaes em Nm, calculado a partir do perfil de tenso; desgaste do limite da distncia 90 % (com coeficiente de frico total = 0,12). Como controlo, o binrio de aperto deve sempre ser controlado com uma chave dinamomtrica.

Recomendaes Antes de atarraxar parafusos, mais longos e maiores, em materiais duros, deveria furar com o dimetro do ncleo da rosca at aproximadamente 2/3 do comprimento do parafuso. Nota: Observe que no haja a possibilidade de peas metlicas pequenas penetrarem na ferramenta eltrica. Aps um longo perodo de tempo a trabalhar com um nmero de rotaes reduzido, deve deixar a ferramenta eltrica a funcionar aprox. 3 minutos com o nmero de rotaes mximo em vazio para a arrefecer.

Suporte de fixao ao cinto Com o suporte de fixao ao cinto (5) pode pendurar a ferramenta eltrica, p. ex., num cinto. Desta forma ter ambas as mos livres e a ferramenta eltrica estar sempre ao alcance. Indicaes sobre o manuseamento ideal da bateria Proteger a bateria contra humidade e gua. Armazene a bateria apenas na faixa de temperatura de 20 C a 50 C. Por exemplo, no deixe a bateria dentro do automvel no vero. Um tempo de funcionamento reduzido aps o carregamento indica que a bateria est gasta e que deve ser substitudo.

Transporte As baterias de ies de ltio, contidas, esto sujeitas ao direito de materiais perigosos. As baterias podem ser transportadas na rua pelo utilizador, sem mais obrigaes. Na expedio por terceiros (por ex: transporte areo ou expedio), devem ser observadas as especiais exigncias quanto embalagem e designao. Neste caso necessrio consultar um especialista de materiais perigosos ao preparar a pea a ser trabalhada. S enviar baterias se a carcaa no estiver danificada. Colar contactos abertos e embalar a bateria de modo que no

Petunjuk Keselamatan Petunjuk keselamatan umum untuk perkakas listrik

PERINGATAN Baca semua peringatan, petunjuk, ilustrasi, dan spesifikasi

keselamatan yang diberikan bersama perkakas listrik ini. Kesalahan dalam menjalankan petunjuk di bawah ini dapat mengakibatkan sengatan listrik, kebakaran, dan/atau cedera serius. Simpanlah semua peringatan dan petunjuk untuk penggunaan di masa mendatang. Istilah "perkakas listrik" dalam peringatan mengacu pada perkakas listrik yang dioperasikan dengan listrik (menggunakan kabel) atau perkakas listrik yang dioperasikan dengan baterai (tanpa kabel).

Keamanan tempat kerja u Jaga kebersihan dan pencahayaan area kerja. Area

yang berantakan atau gelap dapat memicu kecelakaan. u Jangan mengoperasikan perkakas listrik di

lingkungan yang dapat memicu ledakan, seperti adanya cairan, gas, atau debu yang mudah terbakar. Perkakas listrik dapat memancarkan bunga api yang kemudian mengakibatkan debu atau uap terbakar.

u Jauhkan dari jangkauan anak-anak dan pengamat saat mengoperasikan perkakas listrik. Gangguan dapat menyebabkan hilangnya kendali.

Keamanan listrik u Steker perkakas listrik harus sesuai dengan

stopkontak. Jangan pernah memodifikasi steker. Jangan menggunakan steker adaptor bersama dengan perkakas listrik yang terhubung dengan sistem grounding. Steker yang tidak dimodifikasi dan stopkontak yang cocok akan mengurangi risiko sengatan listrik.

u Hindari kontak badan dengan permukaan yang terhubung dengan sistem grounding, seperti pipa, radiator, kompor, dan lemari es. Terdapat peningkatan

risiko terjadinya sengatan listrik jika badan Anda terhubung dengan sistem grounding.

u Perkakas listrik tidak boleh terpapar hujan atau basah. Air yang masuk ke dalam perkakas listrik menambah risiko terjadinya sengatan listrik.

u Jangan menyalahgunakan kabel. Jangan gunakan kabel untuk membawa, menarik, atau melepas steker perkakas listrik. Jauhkan kabel dari panas, minyak, tepi yang tajam, atau komponen yang bergerak. Kabel listrik yang rusak atau tersangkut menambah risiko terjadinya sengatan listrik.

u Saat mengoperasikan perkakas listrik di luar ruangan, gunakan kabel ekstensi yang sesuai untuk penggunaan di luar ruangan. Penggunaan kabel yang cocok untuk pemakaian di luar ruangan mengurangi risiko terjadinya sengatan listrik.

u Jika perkakas listrik memang harus dioperasikan di tempat yang lembap, gunakan pemutus arus listrik residu (RCD). Penggunaan RCD akan mengurangi risiko terjadinya sengatan listrik.

Keselamatan personel u Tetap waspada, perhatikan aktivitas yang sedang

dikerjakan dan gunakan akal sehat saat mengoperasikan perkakas listrik. Jangan gunakan perkakas listrik saat mengalami kelelahan atau di bawah pengaruh narkoba, alkohol, atau obat-obatan. Jika perkakas listrik dioperasikan dengan daya konsentrasi yang rendah, hal tersebut dapat menyebabkan cedera serius.

u Gunakan peralatan pelindung diri. Selalu kenakan pelindung mata. Penggunaan perlengkapan pelindung seperti penutup telinga, helm, sepatu anti licin, dan masker debu akan mengurangi cedera.

u Hindari start yang tidak disengaja. Pastikan switch berada di posisi off sebelum perkakas listrik dihubungkan ke sumber daya listrik dan/atau baterai, diangkat, atau dibawa. Membawa perkakas listrik dengan jari menempel pada tombol atau perkakas listrik dalam keadaan hidup dapat memicu kecelakaan.

u Singkirkan kunci penyetel atau kunci pas sebelum menghidupkan perkakas listrik. Perkakas atau kunci pas yang masih menempel pada komponen perkakas listrik yang berputar dapat menyebabkan cedera.

u Jangan melampaui batas. Berdirilah secara mantap dan selalu jaga keseimbangan. Hal ini akan memberikan kontrol yang lebih baik terhadap perkakas listrik pada situasi yang tak terduga.

u Kenakan pakaian dengan wajar. Jangan mengenakan perhiasan atau pakaian yang longgar. Jauhkan rambut dan pakaian dari komponen yang bergerak. Pakaian yang longgar, rambut panjang, atau perhiasan dapat tersangkut dalam komponen yang bergerak.

u Jika disediakan perangkat untuk sambungan pengisapan debu dan alat pengumpulan, pastikan perangkat tersebut terhubung dan digunakan dengan

benar. Penggunaan alat pengumpulan dapat mengurangi bahaya yang disebabkan oleh debu.

u Jangan berpuas diri dan mengabaikan prinsip keselamatan karena terbiasa mengoperasikan perkakas. Tindakan yang kurang hati-hati dapat mengakibatkan cedera serius dalam waktu sepersekian detik.

Penggunaan dan pemeliharaan perkakas listrik u Jangan memaksakan perkakas listrik. Gunakan

perkakas listrik yang sesuai untuk pekerjaan yang dilakukan. Perkakas listrik yang sesuai akan bekerja dengan lebih baik dan aman sesuai tujuan penggunaan.

u Jangan gunakan perkakas listrik dengan switch yang tidak dapat dioperasikan. Perkakas listrik yang switchnya yang tidak berfungsi dapat menimbulkan bahaya dan harus diperbaiki.

u Lepaskan steker dari sumber listrik dan/atau lepas baterai, jika dapat dilepaskan dari perkakas listrik sebelum menyetel, mengganti aksesori, atau menyimpan perkakas listrik. Tindakan preventif akan mengurangi risiko menghidupkan perkakas listrik secara tidak disengaja.

u Jauhkan dan simpan perkakas listrik dari jangkauan anak-anak dan jangan biarkan orang-orang yang tidak mengetahui cara menggunakan perkakas listrik, mengoperasikan perkakas listrik. Perkakas listrik dapat membahayakan jika digunakan oleh orang-orang yang tidak terlatih.

u Lakukan pemeliharaan perkakas listrik dan aksesori. Periksa komponen yang bergerak apabila tidak lurus atau terikat, kerusakan komponen, dan kondisi lain yang dapat mengganggu pengoperasian perkakas listrik. Apabila rusak, perbaiki perkakas listrik sebelum digunakan. Kecelakaan sering terjadi karena perkakas listrik tidak dirawat dengan baik.

u Jaga ketajaman dan kebersihan alat. Alat pemotong dengan pisau pemotong yang tajam dan dirawat dengan baik tidak akan mudah tersangkut dan lebih mudah dikendalikan.

u Gunakan perkakas listrik, aksesori, dan komponen perkakas dll sesuai dengan petunjuk ini, dengan mempertimbangkan kondisi kerja dan pekerjaan yang akan dilakukan. Penggunaan perkakas listrik untuk tujuan berbeda dari fungsinya dapat menyebabkan situasi yang berbahaya.

u Jaga gagang dan permukaan genggam agar tetap kering, bersih, dan bebas dari minyak dan lemak. Gagang dan permukaan genggam yang licin tidak menjamin keamanan kerja dan kontrol alat yang baik pada situasi yang tidak terduga.

Penggunaan dan pemeliharaan perkakas baterai u Isi ulang daya hanya dengan pengisi daya yang

ditentukan oleh produsen. Pengisi daya yang sesuai untuk satu jenis set baterai dapat menyebabkan risiko kebakaran apabila digunakan dengan set baterai lain.

u Hanya gunakan perkakas listrik dengan set baterai yang dirancang khusus. Penggunaan set baterai lain dapat menyebabkan risiko cedera dan kebakaran.

u Apabila set baterai tidak digunakan, jauhkan dari benda logam lainnya, seperti klip kertas, koin, kunci, paku, sekrup, atau benda logam kecil lainnya yang dapat membuat sambungan dari satu terminal ke terminal lainnya. Memendekkan terminal baterai dapat menyebabkan kebakaran atau api.

Mengeluarkan baterai Baterai (6) memiliki dua sistem pengunci untuk mencegah baterai jatuh jika tombol pelepas baterai (7) ditekan secara tidak sengaja. Selama baterai berada di dalam perkakas listrik, baterai ditahan dalam dudukannya dengan pegas. Untuk melepaskan baterai (6) tekan tombol pelepas (7) dan tarik baterai dari perkakas listrik. Jangan melepas baterai dengan paksa.

Indikator level pengisian daya baterai LED berwarna hijau pada indikator level pengisian daya baterai (20) menampilkan level pengisian daya baterai (6). Atas dasar keselamatan, permintaan level pengisian daya baterai hanya dapat dilakukan saat perkakas listrik dalam keadaan berhenti. Tekan tombol indikator level pengisian daya baterai (19) untuk menampilkan level pengisian daya baterai. Hal ini juga dapat dilakukan saat baterai dilepas. Jika lampu LED tidak menyala setelah tombol indikator level pengisian daya baterai (19) ditekan, terdapat kerusakan pada baterai dan baterai harus diganti.

Penggunaan Cara kerja Dudukan alat (1) dengan alat sisipan digerakkan dengan motor listrik melalui transmisi dan alat penggetar. Proses pengerjaan terbagi ke dalam dua tahap: menyekrup dan mengencangkan (alat penggetar beroperasi). Alat penggetar mulai beraksi begitu sekrup mulai terkunci dan motor dibebani. Dengan demikian alat penggetar mengubah daya motor menjadi getaran putar yang berkekuatan sama. Saat melepas sekrup atau mur, proses berlangsung dengan urutan sebaliknya.

Cara penggunaan Memasang baterai u Hanya gunakan baterai Li-ion Bosch yang asli dengan

tegangan yang tercantum pada label tipe perkakas listrik Anda. Menggunakan baterai lain dapat menyebabkan cedera dan bahaya kebakaran.

Posisikan switch pengubah arah (12) ke tengah untuk mencegah pengaktifan tiba-tiba. Pasang baterai yang sudah terisi (6) ke dalam gagang perkakas hingga terkunci dan terpasang rata pada gagang.

Mengatur arah putaran (lihat gambar D) Arah putaran perkakas listrik dapat diubah dengan switch pengubah arah (12). Hal tersebut tidak dapat dilakukan jika tombol on/off (13) ditekan. Penyetelan awal kecepatan putaran/nominal getaran Dengan menggunakan tombol (8), kecepatan putaran/ nominal getaran yang diperlukan dapat dipilih dalam 3 tingkat. Tekan tombol (8) beberapa kali hingga pengaturan yang diinginkan ditunjukkan dalam tampilan kecepatan putaran (11). Pengaturan yang dipilih akan disimpan. Kecepatan putaran/nominal getaran yang diperlukan bergantung pada bahan yang dikerjakan dan kondisi pekerjaan dan bisa ditentukan dengan melakukan uji coba.

Menyetel kecepatan Kecepatan perkakas listrik yang diaktifkan dapat disetel terus-menerus tergantung seberapa kuat tombol on/off (13) ditekan.

Jika tombol on/off (13) ditekan singkat dan tidak terlalu kuat, kecepatan putaran akan menjadi rendah. Tekanan yang lebih besar mengakibatkan kecepatan putaran yang lebih tinggi.

Penyekrupan dengan dudukan yang kukuh, elastis atau empuk Jika saat uji coba, torsi yang dicapai dalam deretan getaran diukur dan dimuat ke diagram, kurva torsi akan diperoleh. Dudukan pegas digunakan saat penyekrupan logam pada logam yang memakai ring pegas, ring pegas piring, baut stud atau baut/mur dengan dudukan kerucut serta saat penggunaan ekstensi.

Dudukan empuk digunakan saat penyekrupan misalnya logam pada kayu atau jika menggunakan lead/fibre disc sebagai alas.

Pada dudukan pegas atau lunak, torsi maksimal lebih rendah daripada pada dudukan kukuh. Selain itu, diperlukan waktu getaran yang lebih lama.

Tutup bagian-bagian yang terbuka dan kemas baterai agar tidak bergerak-gerak di dalam kemasan. Taatilah peraturan- peraturan nasional lainnya yang mungkin lebih rinci yang berlaku di negara Anda.

Cara membuang Perkakas listrik, baterai, aksesori dan kemasan harus didaur ulang dengan cara yang ramah lingkungan. Jangan membuang perkakas listrik, aki/baterai ke dalam sampah rumah tangga!

Hanya untuk negara Uni Eropa: Berdasarkan pedoman Eropa Directive 2012/19/EU, alat listrik yang tidak lagi dapat digunakan dan berdasarkan pedoman Eropa Directive 2006/66/EC, baterai yang rusak atau yang telah dipakai harus dikumpulkan secara terpisah dan didaur ulang dengan cara yang ramah lingkungan.
