English Safety instructions General Power Tool Safety Warnings

WARNING Read all safety warnings, instruc- tions, illustrations and specifica-

tions provided with this power tool. Failure to follow all in- structions listed below may result in electric shock, fire and/ or serious injury. Save all warnings and instructions for future reference. The term "power tool" in the warnings refers to your mains- operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated (cord- less) power tool.

Work area safety u Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark

areas invite accidents. u Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres,

such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.

u Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.

Electrical safety u Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify

the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock.

u Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded sur- faces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerat- ors. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.

u Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of elec- tric shock.

u Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carry- ing, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.

u When operating a power tool outdoors, use an exten- sion cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord suit- able for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.

u If operating a power tool in a damp location is un- avoidable, use a residual current device (RCD) protec- ted supply. Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.

Personal safety u Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common

sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inatten-

tion while operating power tools may result in serious per- sonal injury.

u Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as a dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal in- juries.

u Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to power source and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or en- ergising power tools that have the switch on invites acci- dents.

u Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal in- jury.

u Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.

u Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jew- ellery. Keep your hair and clothing away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.

u If devices are provided for the connection of dust ex- traction and collection facilities, ensure these are con- nected and properly used. Use of dust collection can re- duce dust-related hazards.

u Do not let familiarity gained from frequent use of tools allow you to become complacent and ignore tool safety principles. A careless action can cause severe in- jury within a fraction of a second.

Power tool use and care u Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power

tool for your application. The correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was de- signed.

u Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.

u Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or re- move the battery pack, if detachable, from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing ac- cessories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.

u Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.

u Maintain power tools and accessories. Check for mis- alignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the power tools operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.

u Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly main- tained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.

u Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with these instructions, taking into ac- count the working conditions and the work to be per- formed. Use of the power tool for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.

u Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, clean and free from oil and grease. Slippery handles and grasping surfaces do not allow for safe handling and control of the tool in unexpected situations.

Battery tool use and care u Recharge only with the charger specified by the manu-

facturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of bat- tery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.

u Use power tools only with specifically designated bat- tery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.

u When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.

u Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally oc- curs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, addi- tionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the bat- tery may cause irritation or burns.

u Do not use a battery pack or tool that is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behaviour resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.

u Do not expose a battery pack or tool to fire or excess- ive temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature above 130C may cause explosion.

u Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or tool outside the temperature range specified in the instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside the specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.

Service u Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair

person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.

u Never service damaged battery packs. Service of bat- tery packs should only be performed by the manufacturer or authorized service providers.

Safety information for multi-cutters u Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces, when

performing an operation where the cutting accessory may contact hidden wiring. Cutting accessory contact-

ing a "live" wire may make exposed metal parts of the power tool "live" and could give the operator an electric shock.

u Use clamps or another practical way to secure and support the workpiece to a stable platform. Holding the workpiece by hand or against your body leaves it un- stable and may lead to loss of control.

u Only use the power tool for dry sanding. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.

u Warning: Danger of fire! Avoid overheating the work- piece and the sander. Always empty the dust collector before taking a break from work. Sanding dust in the dust bag, microfilter, paper bag (or in the filter bag or va- cuum cleaner filter) can spontaneously combust under certain conditions, for example if flying sparks are cre- ated when sanding metals. This risk is increased if the sanding dust is mixed with paint or polyurethane residue or with other chemical substances and if the workpiece is hot as a result of prolonged work.

u Keep hands away from the sawing area. Do not reach under the workpiece. Contact with the saw blade can lead to injuries.

u Clean the air vents on your power tool regularly. The motors fan will draw the dust inside the housing and ex- cessive accumulation of powdered metal may cause elec- trical hazards.

u Use suitable detectors to determine if there are hid- den supply lines or contact the local utility company for assistance. Contact with electric cables can cause fire and electric shock. Damaging gas lines can lead to ex- plosion. Breaking water pipes causes property damage.

u Hold the power tool firmly with both hands and make sure you have a stable footing. The power tool can be more securely guided with both hands.

u When changing the application tool, wear protective gloves. Application tools can become hot when used for prolonged periods of time.

u Do not scrape any dampened materials (e.g. wallpa- per) or on damp surfaces. Water entering a power tool increases the risk of electric shock.

u Do not treat the surface you will be working on with any fluids that contain solvents. Poisonous vapours may develop due to the materials heating up when being scraped.

u Take particular care when handling scrapers and blades. The application tools are very sharp. Danger of in- jury.

u In case of damage and improper use of the battery, va- pours may be emitted. The battery can set alight or ex- plode. Ensure the area is well ventilated and seek medical attention should you experience any adverse effects. The vapours may irritate the respiratory system.

u Do not open the battery. There is a risk of short-circuit- ing.

u The battery can be damaged by pointed objects such as nails or screwdrivers or by force applied externally.

An internal short circuit may occur, causing the battery to burn, smoke, explode or overheat.

u Only use the battery with products from the manufac- turer. This is the only way in which you can protect the battery against dangerous overload.

Protect the battery against heat, e.g. against continuous intense sunlight, fire, dirt, water and moisture. There is a risk of explosion and short-circuiting.

Product description and specifications

Read all the safety and general instructions. Failure to observe the safety and general in- structions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.

Please observe the illustrations at the beginning of this oper- ating manual.

Intended use The power tool is intended for sawing and cutting wood- based materials, plastic, plasterboard, non-ferrous metals and mounting elements (e.g. non-hardened nails, clamps). It is also suitable for working on soft wall tiles and for dry sand- ing and scraping of small areas. It is ideal for working close to edges and flush with surfaces. The power tool must only be operated using Bosch accessories.

Fitting u Remove the battery from the power tool before carry-

ing out work on the power tool (e.g. maintenance, changing tool, etc.). The battery should also be re- moved for transport and storage. There is risk of injury from unintentionally pressing the on/off switch.

Battery Charging u Use only the chargers listed in the technical data. Only

these chargers are matched to the lithium-ion battery of your power tool.

Note: The battery is supplied partially charged. To ensure full battery capacity, fully charge the battery in the charger before using your power tool for the first time. The lithium-ion battery can be charged at any time without reducing its service life. Interrupting the charging process does not damage the battery. The lithium-ion battery is protected against deep discharge by the "Electronic Cell Protection (ECP)". When the battery is discharged, the power tool is switched off by means of a protective circuit: The application tool no longer rotates. u Do not continue to press the On/Off switch after the

power tool has automatically switched off. The battery can be damaged.

To remove the battery (3), press the battery release button (2) and pull the battery to the rear and out of the power tool. Do not use force to do this.

Battery charge indicator The three green LEDs on the battery charge indicator (6) in- dicate the state of charge of the battery (3). The battery charge indicator only lights up for five seconds after start- up.

If no LED lights up after switching the power tool on, then the battery is defective and must be replaced.

Fitting/changing the application tool Remove the application tool if one has already been fitted. To remove the application tool, use the hex key (12) to loosen the clamping bolt (11) and remove the tool. Position the required application tool (e.g. plunge cut saw blade (10)) on the tool holder (7) so that the depressed

centre is facing downwards (see figure on the graphics page, text on the application tool should be legible from above). Turn the application tool to a position which is convenient for the job at hand and allow it to lock into place in the cams of the tool holder (7). Twelve positions offset by 30 are possible for this.

Secure the application tool using the bolt (11). Tighten the bolt using the hex key (12) until the rounded head of the bolt is lying flat against the application tool.

u Check that the application tool is seated securely. Ap- plication tools that are attached incorrectly or are not se- curely fixed in place may come loose during operation, thereby putting you at risk.

Selecting a sanding sheet Different sanding sheets are available, depending on the material you are working with and the required surface removal rate:

Attaching/changing the sanding sheet on the sanding plate The sanding plate (15) is fitted with a hook-and-loop fasten- ing, allowing sanding sheets with a hook-and-loop backing to be secured quickly and easily. Tap the hook-and-loop fastening of the sanding plate (15) before fitting the sanding sheet (16) to facilitate maximum adhesion. Position the sanding sheet (16) so that it is flush with one side of the sanding plate (15), then place the sanding sheet on the sanding plate and press it on firmly. To ensure optimum dust extraction, make sure that the punched holes in the sanding sheet are aligned with the drilled holes in the sanding plate. To remove the sanding sheet (16), take hold of it by an edge and pull it away from the sanding plate (15). You can use all sanding sheets, polishing and cleaning fleeces from the Delta 93 mm series in the Bosch range of accessories. Sanding accessories such as fleece/polishing felt are at- tached to the sanding plate in the same way.

Dust/Chip Extraction The dust from materials such as lead paint, some types of wood, minerals and metal can be harmful to human health. Touching or breathing in this dust can trigger allergic reac- tions and/or cause respiratory illnesses in the user or in

people in the near vicinity. Certain dusts, such as oak or beech dust, are classified as carcinogenic, especially in conjunction with wood treatment additives (chromate, wood preservative). Materials contain- ing asbestos may only be machined by specialists. Use a dust extraction system that is suitable for the ma-

terial wherever possible. Provide good ventilation at the workplace. It is advisable to wear a P2 filter class breathing mask. The regulations on the material being machined that apply in the country of use must be observed. u Avoid dust accumulation at the workplace. Dust can

easily ignite.

Connecting the dust extraction system (see figure A) The dust extraction system (14) is only designed for use with the sanding plate (15); it serves no purpose when used together with other application tools. Always connect a dust extraction system for sanding. Remove the application tool for fitting the dust extraction system (14) (accessory). Slide the dust extraction system (14) as far as it will go over the tool holder (7) onto the collar of the power tool. Turn the dust extraction system to the required position (not directly under the power tool). Push the clamping lever (17) shut to fix the dust extraction system in position. Attach the dust extraction adapter (19) of the dust extrac- tion hose (20) to the dust extraction outlet (18). Connect

the dust extraction hose (20) to a dust extractor (access- ory). You will find an overview of connecting to various dust ex- tractors on the graphics pages. The dust extractor must be suitable for the material being worked. When extracting dry dust that is especially detrimental to health or carcinogenic, use a special dust extractor.

Operation Starting Operation Inserting the battery Note: The use of batteries unsuitable for your power tool can lead to malfunctions or damage to the power tool. Insert the charged battery (3) into the handle until you feel it engage and it is flush with the handle.

Switching on/off u Make sure that you are able to press the On/Off switch

without releasing the handle. To switch on the power tool, slide the on/off switch (1) for- ward so that "I" appears on the switch. To switch off the power tool, slide the on/off switch (1) backwards so that "0" appears on the switch. Note: If the power tool shuts down automatically because the battery is flat or overheated, switch the power tool off using the on/off switch (1). Charge the battery or let it cool down before switching the power tool on again. Failure to do so can damage the bat- tery.

Preselecting the orbital stroke rate You can even preselect the required orbital stroke rate dur- ing operation using the orbital stroke rate preselection thumbwheel (5). The required orbital stroke rate is dependent on the material and the work conditions and can be determined using prac- tical tests. Orbital stroke rate level 6 is recommended for sawing, cut- ting and sanding harder materials, such as wood or metal; orbital stroke rate level 4 is recommended for softer ma- terials, such as plastic.

Practical Advice u Remove the battery from the power tool before carry-

ing out work on the power tool (e.g. maintenance, changing tool, etc.). The battery should also be re- moved for transport and storage. There is risk of injury from unintentionally pressing the on/off switch.

u Always wait until the power tool has come to a com- plete stop before placing it down.

Note: Do not keep the ventilation slots (4) on the power tool closed when working as this will reduce the service life of the power tool.

Operating principle The oscillating drive causes the application tool to oscillate back and forth by 2.8 up to 20000 times per minute. This enables precise work in the tightest of spaces.

Use a consistent, low contact pressure when performing work; otherwise, the performance will be impaired and the ap- plication tool may jam.

While working, move the power tool back and forth to prevent the application tool overheating and jamming.

Sawing u Use only undamaged saw blades that are in perfect

condition. Bent or dull saw blades can break, negatively influence the cut, or lead to kickback.

u When sawing lightweight materials, take into account the statutory provisions and recommendations of the material manufacturers.

u Plunge cuts may only be applied to soft materials, such as wood, gypsum board, etc.

Before using HCS saw blades to saw into wood, chipboard, building materials, etc., check these saw blades for foreign objects, such as nails, screws, etc. Remove the foreign ob- jects as required or use bi-metal saw blades.

Cutting Note: When cutting wall tiles, please bear in mind that the application tools are subject to high wear if used for exten- ded periods.

Sanding The material removal rate and sanding result are primarily determined by the choice of sanding sheet, the preselected orbital stroke rate level and the contact pressure. Only immaculate sanding sheets achieve good sanding per- formance and make the power tool last longer. Be sure to apply consistent contact pressure in order to in- crease the lifetime of the sanding sheets. Excessively increasing the contact pressure will not lead to increased sanding performance, rather it will cause more severe wear of the power tool and of the sanding sheet. To sand corners, edges and hard-to-reach areas accurately, you can also work with the tips alone or with an edge of the sanding plate. The sanding sheet may heat up significantly when used to sand specific points rather than entire surfaces. Reduce the orbital stroke rate and contact pressure and allow the sand- ing sheet to cool down at regular intervals. Do not use a sanding sheet for other materials after it has been used to work on metal. Use only original Bosch-sanding accessories. Always connect a dust extraction system for sanding.

Scraping Select a high orbital stroke rate level for scraping. Work on a soft surface (e.g. wood) at a flat angle and with low contact pressure. Failure to do so may cause the scraper to cut into the surface underneath.

Temperature-dependent overload protection In normal conditions of use, the power tool cannot be over- loaded. If the power tool is overloaded or not kept within the permitted battery temperature range, the speed is reduced or the power tool switches off. At reduced speed, the power tool will run again at full speed once the permitted battery temperature is reached or the load is reduced. If it automat- ically shuts down, switch the power tool off, allow the bat- tery to cool down, then switch the power tool back on.

Recommendations for Optimal Handling of the Battery Protect the battery against moisture and water. Only store the battery within a temperature range of 20 to 50 C. Do not leave the battery in your car in the summer, for example. Occasionally clean the ventilation slots on the battery using a soft brush that is clean and dry. A significantly reduced operating time after charging indic- ates that the battery has deteriorated and must be replaced. Follow the instructions on correct disposal.

u Si des dispositifs sont fournis pour le raccordement dquipements pour lextraction et la rcupration des poussires, sassurer quils sont connects et correc- tement utiliss. Utiliser des collecteurs de poussire peut rduire les risques dus aux poussires.

u Rester vigilant et ne pas ngliger les principes de s- curit de l'outil sous prtexte que vous avez l'habitude de l'utiliser. Une fraction de seconde d'inattention peut provoquer une blessure grave.

u Il faut que les poignes et les surfaces de prhension restent sches, propres et dpourvues d'huiles et de graisses. Des poignes et des surfaces de prhension glissantes rendent impossibles la manipulation et le contrle en toute scurit de l'outil dans les situations in- attendues.

Utilisation des outils fonctionnant sur batteries et prcautions demploi u Ne recharger quavec le chargeur spcifi par le fabri-

cant. Un chargeur qui est adapt un type de bloc de batteries peut crer un risque de feu lorsquil est utilis avec un autre type de bloc de batteries.

u Nutiliser les outils lectriques quavec des blocs de batteries spcifiquement dsigns. Lutilisation de tout autre bloc de batteries peut crer un risque de blessure et de feu.

u Lorsquun bloc de batteries nest pas utilis, le mainte- nir lcart de tout autre objet mtallique, par exemple trombones, pices de monnaie, cls, clous, vis ou autres objets de petite taille qui peuvent donner lieu une connexion dune borne une autre. Le court- circuitage des bornes dune batterie entre elles peut cau- ser des brlures ou un feu.

u Dans de mauvaises conditions, du liquide peut tre ject de la batterie; viter tout contact. En cas de contact accidentel, nettoyer leau. Si le liquide entre en contact avec les yeux, rechercher en plus une aide mdicale. Le liquide ject des batteries peut causer des irritations ou des brlures.

u Ne pas utiliser un bloc de batteries ou un outil fonc- tionnant sur batteries qui a t endommag ou modi- fi. Les batteries endommages ou modifies peuvent avoir un comportement imprvisible provoquant un feu, une explosion ou un risque de blessure.

u Ne pas exposer un bloc de batteries ou un outil fonc- tionnant sur batteries au feu ou une temprature ex-

cessive. Une exposition au feu ou une temprature su- prieure 130C peut provoquer une explosion.

u Suivre toutes les instructions de charge et ne pas charger le bloc de batteries ou l'outil fonctionnant sur batteries hors de la plage de tempratures spcifie dans les instructions. Un chargement incorrect ou des tempratures hors de la plage spcifie de tempratures peut endommager la batterie et augmenter le risque de feu.

Maintenance et entretien u Faire entretenir loutil lectrique par un rparateur

qualifi utilisant uniquement des pices de rechange identiques. Cela assure le maintien de la scurit de lou- til lectrique.

u Attention risque dincendie ! vitez tout chauffement du matriau ponc et de la ponceuse. Videz toujours le bac poussire avant de faire une pause de travail. Les particules de poussire se trouvant dans le sac poussires, le microfiltre, le sac en papier (ou dans le sac poussires en tissu ou le filtre de laspirateur) peuvent senflammer delles-mmes dans des conditions dfavo- rables, par exemple en cas de projection dtincelles lors du ponage de pices en mtal. Ceci notamment lorsque des particules de poussires sont mlanges des rsi- dus de vernis, de polyurthane ou dautres substances chimiques et que les matriaux travaills sont trs chauds aprs avoir t travaills pendant une priode assez longue.

u Napprochez pas les mains de la zone de travail. Ne saisissez pas la pice par en dessous dans la zone de travail. Il y a risque de blessure grave en cas de contact avec la lame de scie.

u Nettoyez rgulirement les oues daration de loutil lectroportatif. Le ventilateur du moteur attire la pous- sire lintrieur du carter et une accumulation excessive

u Utilisez un dtecteur appropri pour vrifier sil ny a pas de conduites caches ou contactez votre socit de distribution deau locale. Tout contact avec des cbles lectriques peut provoquer un incendie ou un choc lectrique. Tout endommagement dune conduite de gaz peut provoquer une explosion. La perforation dune conduite deau provoque des dgts matriels.

u Lors du travail, tenez fermement loutil lectroportatif des deux mains et veillez toujours garder une posi- tion de travail stable. Avec les deux mains, loutil lec- troportatif est guid en toute scurit.

u Portez des gants de protection pour remplacer les ac- cessoires de travail. Les accessoires de travail schauffent fortement lors dune utilisation prolonge.

u Ne grattez pas de matriaux humidifis (parex. des papiers peints) ni des surfaces humides. La pntra- tion deau lintrieur dun outil lectroportatif accrot le risque de choc lectrique.

u Ne traitez pas la surface travailler avec des liquides contenant des solvants. Des vapeurs nuisibles la sant pourraient sinon tre gnres si les matriaux schauffent lors du grattage.

u Soyez tout particulirement vigilant lors de la manipu- lation du racloir et des lames. Ils sont trs tranchants, vous risquez de vous blesser.

u Si laccu est endommag ou utilis de manire non conforme, des vapeurs peuvent schapper. Laccu peut brler ou exploser. Ventilez le local et consultez un mdecin en cas de malaise. Les vapeurs peuvent entra- ner des irritations des voies respiratoires.

u Nouvrez pas laccu. Risque de court-circuit. u Les objets pointus comme un clou ou un tournevis et le

fait dexercer une force extrieure sur le botier risque dendommager laccu. Il peut en rsulter un court-circuit interne et laccu risque de senflammer, de dgager des fumes, dexploser ou de surchauffer.

u Nutilisez laccu quavec des produits du fabricant. Tout risque de surcharge dangereuse sera alors exclu.

Conservez la batterie labri de la chaleur, en la protgeant p. ex. de l'ensoleillement direct, du feu, de la salet, de leau et de lhumidit. Il existe un risque d'explosion et de courts-circuits.

Remarque : Laccu est fourni partiellement charg. Pour ob- tenir les performances maximales, chargez laccu jusqu sa pleine capacit avant la premire utilisation. Laccu Lithium-Ion peut tre recharg tout moment, sans risquer de rduire sa dure de vie. Le fait dinterrompre le processus de charge nendommage pas laccu. Laccu Lithium-Ion est protg contre une dcharge com- plte par  Electronic Cell Protection (ECP)  (llectronique de protection des cellules). Lorsque laccu est dcharg, loutil lectroportatif sarrte grce un dispositif darrt de protection : laccessoire de travail ne tourne plus.

u Aprs larrt automatique de loutil lectroportatif, nappuyez plus sur linterrupteur Marche/Arrt. Laccu pourrait tre endommag.

Pour retirer laccu (3), appuyez sur la touche de dver- rouillage (2) et sortez laccu par derrire de loutil lectro- portatif. Ne forcez pas.

Indicateur de niveau de charge de laccu Les trois LED vertes de lindicateur dtat de charge (6) in- diquent le niveau de charge de laccu (3). Lindicateur de ni- veau de charge ne sallume que pendant les 5 secondes qui suivent la mise en marche.

Montage/Changement daccessoire de travail Enlevez laccessoire de travail ventuellement en place. Pour enlever loutil, utiliser la cl pour vis six pans creux (12) pour desserrer la vis de serrage (11) et retirer loutil. Positionnez laccessoire souhait (p.ex. lame plongeante (10)) au-dessus du porte-outil (7) en veillant ce que le moyeu dport soit tourn vers le bas (voir figure sur la page graphique, linscription sur laccessoire doit tre lisible par le haut).

Orientez laccessoire dans la position la plus favorable pour le travail effectuer et embotez-le dans le porte-outil (7). Laccessoire peut tre fix dans douze positions diffrentes, espaces de 30. Fixez laccessoire au moyen de la vis (11). Serrez la vis au moyen de la cl mle pour vis six pans (12) jusqu ce que lembase de la tte de vis appuie bien plat contre lacces- soire. u Contrlez le serrage de laccessoire. Un accessoire in-

correctement fix peut se dtacher pendant lutilisation et vous mettre en danger.

Mise en place/retrait dune feuille abrasive Le plateau de ponage (15) est dot dun revtement auto- agrippant permettant dutiliser des feuilles abrasives avec systme auto-agrippant. Celles-ci peuvent tre fixes rapi- dement et facilement. Tapotez lgrement sur le revtement auto-agrippant du pla- teau de ponage (15) avant de mettre en place la feuille abrasive (16) afin dobtenir une adhrence optimale. Positionnez sur lun des cts la feuille abrasive (16) au ras du plateau de ponage (15) puis appliquez fermement la feuille abrasive contre le plateau de ponage, sur toute la surface, de faon obtenir une adhrence parfaite. Afin de garantir une bonne aspiration de la poussire, assu- rez-vous que les perforations de la feuille abrasive et du pla- teau de ponage concident. Pour retirer la feuille abrasive (16), saisissez-la par un coin et retirez-la du plateau de ponage (15). Il est possible dutiliser toutes les feuilles abrasives, tous les non-tisss polir et non-tisss de nettoyage de 93 mm de la gamme daccessoires Bosch pour ponceuses delta. Procdez de la mme faon pour fixer les accessoires de ponage tels que nontisss ou feutres polir.

Aspiration de poussires/de copeaux Les poussires de matriaux tels que peintures contenant du plomb, certains bois, minraux ou mtaux, peuvent tre nui- sibles la sant. Le contact avec les poussires ou leur inha- lation peut entraner des ractions allergiques et/ou des ma- ladies respiratoires auprs de lutilisateur ou des personnes se trouvant proximit. Certaines poussires telles que les poussires de chne ou de htre sont considres comme cancrignes, surtout en association avec des additifs pour le traitement du bois (chromate, lasure). Les matriaux contenant de lamiante ne doivent tre travaills que par des personnes qualifies. Si possible, utilisez un dispositif daspiration des pous-

sires appropri au matriau. Veillez bien arer la zone de travail. Il est recommand de porter un masque respiratoire avec

un niveau de filtration de classe P2. Respectez les rglements spcifiques aux matriaux traiter en vigueur dans votre pays.

u vitez toute accumulation de poussires sur le lieu de travail. Les poussires peuvent facilement senflammer.

Raccordement un aspirateur (voir figure A) Le dispositif daspiration (14) nest conu que pour les tra- vaux avec le plateau de ponage (15), il nest daucune utilit avec dautres accessoires de travail. Utilisez toujours un aspirateur pour les travaux de ponage. Pour monter le dispositif daspiration (14) (accessoire), en- levez laccessoire de travail. Glissez jusquen bute le dispositif daspiration (14) sur le collet de loutil lectroportatif, par dessus le porte-outil (7). Faites pivoter le dispositif daspiration dans la position sou- haite (pas directement sous loutil lectroportatif). Refer- mez ensuite le levier de serrage (17) pour fixer le dispositif daspiration. Embotez ladaptateur daspiration (19) du flexible daspira- tion (20) sur la tubulure de sortie dair (18) de loutil lectro- portatif. Raccordez lautre extrmit du tuyau daspiration (20) un aspirateur (accessoire). Vous trouverez au dbut de cette notice (pages graphiques) une vue densemble des aspirateurs auxquels peut tre rac- cord loutil lectroportatif. Laspirateur doit tre conu pour le type de matriau pon- cer. Pour laspiration de poussires particulirement nuisibles la sant, cancrignes ou sches, utilisez un aspirateur sp- cial.

Utilisation Mise en marche Montage de laccu Remarque : Lutilisation daccus non conus pour votre outil lectroportatif peut entraner des dysfonctionnements ou endommager loutil lectroportatif. Insrez laccu charg (3) dans la poigne jusqu ce quil sencliquette de faon perceptible et affleure avec le bas de la poigne.

Mise en marche/arrt u Assurez-vous de pouvoir actionner linterrupteur

Marche/Arrt sans avoir relcher la poigne.

Pour mettre en marche loutil lectroportatif, poussez lin- terrupteur Marche/Arrt (1) vers lavant dans la position  I . Pour arrter loutil lectroportatif, poussez linterrupteur Marche/Arrt (1) vers larrire dans la position  0 . Remarque : En cas darrt automatique de loutil lectropor- tatif pour cause daccu vide ou de surchauffe, il faut que vous arrtiez manuellement loutil lectroportatif avec linterrup- teur Marche/Arrt (1). Rechargez laccu ou laissez refroidir loutil lectroportatif avant de le remettre en marche. Laccu risque sinon dtre endommag.

Prslection de la vitesse doscillation La molette de prslection (5) permet de prslectionner la vitesse doscillation voulue, mme en cours de fonctionne- ment. La vitesse doscillation requise dpend du type de matriau et des conditions de travail. Elle peut tre dtermine par des essais pratiques. Recommandations de vitesse : vitesse 6 pour le sciage, trononnage et ponage de matriaux durs tels que le bois ou le mtal, vitesse 4 pour les matriaux tendres tels que les matires plastiques.

Instructions dutilisation u Retirez laccu de lappareil lectroportatif avant toute

intervention (oprations dentretien/de maintenance, changement daccessoire, etc.) ainsi que lors de son transport et rangement. Il y a sinon risque de blessure lorsquon appuie par mgarde sur linterrupteur Marche/ Arrt.

u Avant de poser loutil lectroportatif, attendez quil soit compltement larrt.

Remarque : Nobturez pas les oues de ventilation (4) de loutil lectroportatif lors de son utilisation sous peine de r- duire sa dure de vie.

Principe de fonctionnement Lentranement oscillant fait en sorte que laccessoire de tra- vail oscille jusqu 20000 fois par minute avec une ampli- tude de 2,8. Cela permet de travailler avec grande prcision dans les endroits exigus.

Pour bnficier dune bonne capacit denlvement et ne pas risquer de bloquer laccessoire, exercez sur loutil une pres- sion modre et uniforme.

Effectuez des mouvements de va-et-vient au cours de lutilisation de loutil lectro- portatif pour viter tout chauffement ex- cessif ou blocage de laccessoire.

Sciage u Nutilisez que des lames de scie en parfait tat. Les

lames de scie dformes ou mousses peuvent se cas-

ser, produire des coupes de mauvaise qualit ou causer des rebonds.

u Lors du sciage de matriaux de construction lgers, respectez les dispositions lgales ainsi que les recom- mandations du fabricant du matriau.

u Il nest possible deffectuer des coupes plongeantes que pour des matriaux tendres tels que le bois, les plaques de pltre, etc. !

Avant de scier avec une lame HCS dans du bois, des pan- neaux agglomrs, des matriaux de construction etc., assu- rez-vous de labsence de corps trangers tels que clous, vis etc. Enlevez les corps trangers prsents dans le matriau ou utilisez des lames bimtal.

Trononnage Remarque : Lors du trononnage de carrelages muraux et faences, ayez lesprit que les accessoires susent rapide- ment lors dune utilisation prolonge.

Ponage La capacit denlvement de matire ainsi que ltat de sur- face obtenu dpendent essentiellement du type dabrasif choisi, de la vitesse doscillation prslectionne et de la pression exerce. Seuls des disques abrasifs en parfait tat assurent de bons rsultats et mnagent loutil lectroportatif. Veillez toujours exercer une pression rgulire, afin daug- menter la dure de vie des disques abrasifs. Une pression trop leve namliore pas les performances de ponage mais augmente considrablement lusure de loutil lectroportatif et du disque abrasif. Pour obtenir de bons rsultats dans les coins, sur des bords et dans des endroits daccs difficile, ne travaillez quavec la pointe ou lun des bords du plateau de ponage. Lors de travaux de ponage ponctuel, la feuille abrasive peut schauffer fortement. Il convient alors de rduire la vitesse et la pression dappui et de laisser refroidir la feuille abrasive intervalles rguliers. Un disque abrasif utilis pour poncer du mtal ne doit en- suite pas tre utilise pour poncer dautres matriaux. Nutilisez que des accessoires de ponage Bosch dorigine. Utilisez toujours un aspirateur pour les travaux de ponage.

Grattage Pour les travaux de grattage, choisissez une vitesse doscilla- tion leve. Sur les surfaces tendres (p.ex. du bois), travaillez sous un petit angle en exerant une faible pression sur loutil. La spa- tule risque sinon de pntrer dans la surface.

Protection contre les surcharges en cas de surchauffe Si loutil lectroportatif est utilis de manire conforme, tout risque de surcharge est exclu. En cas de trop forte sollicita- tion de loutil ou de surchauffe de laccu, la vitesse de rota- tion est rduite ou loutil lectroportatif sarrte. Aprs une rduction de la vitesse de rotation, loutil lectroportatif ne se remet fonctionner pleine vitesse quune fois que la temprature de laccu repasse dans la plage des tempra- tures admissibles ou que loutil est moins sollicit. Aprs un

arrt automatique, teignez loutil lectroportatif pour lais- ser refroidir laccu puis remettez-le en marche.

Indications pour une utilisation optimale de la batterie Protgez laccu de lhumidit et de leau. Ne stockez laccu que dans la plage de tempratures de 20 50 C. Ne laissez par ex. pas laccu dans une voiture en plein t. Nettoyez de temps en temps les orifices de ventilation de laccu laide dun pinceau doux, propre et sec. Une baisse notable de lautonomie de laccu au fil des re- charges effectues indique que laccu est arriv en fin de vie et quil doit tre remplac. Respectez les indications concernant llimination.

Entretien et Service aprsvente Nettoyage et entretien u Retirez laccu de lappareil lectroportatif avant toute

Segurana da rea de trabalho u Mantenha a sua rea de trabalho sempre limpa e bem

iluminada. Desordem ou reas de trabalho insuficientemente iluminadas podem levar a acidentes.

u No trabalhar com a ferramenta elctrica em reas com risco de exploso, nas quais se encontrem lquidos, gases ou ps inflamveis. Ferramentas elctricas produzem fascas, que podem inflamar ps ou vapores.

u Manter crianas e outras pessoas afastadas da ferramenta elctrica durante a utilizao. No caso de distraco possvel que perca o controlo sobre o aparelho.

Segurana elctrica u A ficha de conexo da ferramenta elctrica deve caber

na tomada. A ficha no deve ser modificada de maneira alguma. No utilizar uma ficha de adaptao junto com ferramentas elctricas protegidas por ligao terra. Fichas no modificadas e tomadas apropriadas reduzem o risco de um choque elctrico.

u Evitar que o corpo possa entrar em contacto com superfcies ligadas terra, como tubos, aquecimentos, foges e frigorficos. H um risco elevado devido a choque elctrico, se o corpo estiver ligado terra.

u Manter o aparelho afastado de chuva ou humidade. A infiltrao de gua numa ferramenta elctrica aumenta o risco de choque elctrico.

u No dever utilizar o cabo para outras finalidades. Nunca utilizar o cabo para transportar a ferramenta elctrica, para pendurla, nem para puxar a ficha da tomada. Manter o cabo afastado do calor, do leo, de arestas afiadas ou de peas em movimento. Cabos danificados ou emaranhados aumentam o risco de um choque elctrico.

u Evitar uma colocao em funcionamento involuntria. Assegurese de que a ferramenta elctrica esteja desligada, antes de conectla alimentao de rede e/ou ao acumulador, antes de levantla ou de transportla. Se tiver o dedo no interruptor ao transportar a ferramenta elctrica ou se o aparelho for conectado alimentao de rede enquanto estiver ligado, podero ocorrer acidentes.

u No deixe que a familiaridade resultante de uma utilizao frequente de ferramentas permita que voc se torne complacente e ignore os princpios de segurana da ferramenta. Uma aco descuidada pode causar ferimentos graves numa fraco de segundo.

Utilizao e manuseio cuidadoso de ferramentas elctricas u No sobrecarregue a ferramenta elctrica. Utilize a

u Puxar a ficha da tomada e/ou remover o acumulador, se amovvel, antes de executar ajustes na ferramenta elctrica, de substituir acessrios ou de guardar as ferramentas elctricas. Esta medida de segurana evita o arranque involuntrio da ferramenta elctrica.

u Guardar ferramentas elctricas no utilizadas fora do alcance de crianas e no permitir que as pessoas que no estejam familiarizadas com o aparelho ou que no tenham lido estas instrues utilizem o aparelho. Ferramentas elctricas so perigosas se forem utilizadas por pessoas inexperientes.

u Utilizar a ferramenta elctrica, acessrios, ferramentas de aplicao, etc. conforme estas instrues. Considerar as condies de trabalho e a tarefa a ser executada. A utilizao de ferramentas elctricas para outras tarefas a no ser as aplicaes previstas, pode levar a situaes perigosas.

u Mantenha os punhos e as superfcies de agarrar secas, limpas e livres de leo e massa consistente. Punhos e superfcies de agarrar escorregadias no permitem o manuseio e controle seguros da ferramenta em situaes inesperadas.

Manuseio e utilizao cuidadosos de ferramentas com acumuladores u S carregar acumuladores em carregadores

recomendados pelo fabricante. H perigo de incndio se um carregador apropriado para um certo tipo de acumuladores for utilizado para carregar acumuladores de outros tipos.

u S utilizar ferramentas elctricas com os acumuladores apropriados. A utilizao de outros acumuladores pode levar a leses e perigo de incndio.

u Manter o acumulador que no est sendo utilizado afastado de clipes, moedas, chaves, parafusos ou outros pequenos objectos metlicos que possam causar um curto-circuito dos contactos. Um curto- circuito entre os contactos do acumulador pode ter como consequncia queimaduras ou fogo.

u No caso de aplicao incorrecta pode vazar lquido do acumulador. Evitar o contacto. No caso de um contacto acidental, dever enxaguar com gua. Se o lquido entrar em contacto com os olhos, tambm dever consultar um mdico. Lquido que escapa do acumulador pode levar a irritaes da pele ou a queimaduras.

u No use um acumulador ou uma ferramenta danificada ou modificada. Os acumuladores danificados ou modificados exibem um comportamento imprevisvel podendo causar incndio, exploso ou risco de leso.

u No exponha o acumulador ou a ferramenta ao fogo ou temperatura excessiva. A exposio ao fogo ou a temperaturas acima de 130 C pode causar exploso.

u Siga todas as instrues de carregamento e no carregue o acumulador ou a ferramenta fora da faixa de temperatura especificada no manual de instrues. Carregar indevidamente ou em temperaturas fora da faixa especificada pode danificar o acumulador e aumentar o risco de incndio.

Servio u S permita que o seu aparelho seja reparado por

pessoal especializado e qualificado e s com peas de reposio originais. Desta forma assegurado o funcionamento seguro do aparelho.

u Nunca tente reparar acumuladores danificados. A reparao de acumuladores deve ser realizada apenas pelo fabricante ou agentes de assistncia autorizados.

Indicaes de segurana para o Multi-Cutter u Segure a ferramenta eltrica nas superfcies de

agarrar isoladas, ao executar uma operao onde o acessrio de corte possa entrar em contacto com cabos escondidos. Se o acessrio de corte entrar em contacto com um fio "sob tenso", as partes metlicas expostas da ferramenta eltrica ficam "sob tenso" e podem produzir um choque eltrico.

u Use grampos ou outra forma prtica para fixar e suportar a pea a trabalhar numa plataforma estvel. Segurar a pea a trabalhar com a mo ou contra o seu corpo, deixa a pea instvel e pode perder o controlo.

u Use a ferramenta eltrica apenas para lixamento a seco. A infiltrao de gua numa ferramenta eltrica aumenta o risco de choque eltrico.

u Ateno, perigo de incndio! Evite um sobreaquecimento do material de lixar e da lixadeira. Esvazie sempre o reservatrio de p antes de pausas no trabalho. O p de lixa no saco coletor do p, no microfiltro, no saco de papel (ou no saco do filtro ou no filtro do aspirador) pode incendiar-se sob circunstncias desfavorveis como fascas ao lixar metais. Existe perigo especialmente quando o p de lixa est misturado com restos de verniz, poliuretano ou outras substncias qumicas e o material de lixar est quente aps longo perodo de trabalho.

u Manter as mos afastadas da rea de serrar. No tocar na pea a ser trabalhada pelo lado de baixo. H perigo de leses no caso de contacto com a lmina de serra.

u Limpe com regularidade as aberturas de ventilao da sua ferramenta eltrica. A ventoinha do motor puxa p para dentro da carcaa, e uma grande quantidade de p de metal pode causar perigos eltricos.

u Utilizar detetores apropriados, para encontrar cabos escondidos, ou consulte a companhia eltrica local. O contacto com cabos eltricos pode provocar fogo e choques eltricos. Danos em tubos de gs podem levar exploso. A infiltrao num cano de gua provoca danos materiais.

u Durante o trabalho, segure a ferramenta eltrica com as duas mos e providencie uma estabilidade segura. A ferramenta eltrica conduzida com maior segurana com ambas as mos.

u Use luvas de proteo para trocar as ferramentas acoplveis. As ferramentas acoplveis ficam quentes em caso de utilizao prolongada.

u No raspe materiais hmidos (p.ex. papel de parede), nem sobre bases hmidas. A infiltrao de gua numa ferramenta eltrica aumenta o risco de choque eltrico.

u No trata a superfcie a trabalhar com lquidos que contm solventes. Devido ao aquecimento das substncias durante o processo de raspar, podem ser produzidos vapores venenosos.

u Tenha muito cuidado ao usar a esptula e a lmina. As ferramentas so bem afiadas e h perigo de leses.

u Em caso de danos e de utilizao incorreta da bateria, podem escapar vapores. A bateria pode incendiar-se ou explodir. Areje o espao e procure assistncia mdica no caso de apresentar queixas. possvel que os vapores irritem as vias respiratrias.

u No abrir o acumulador. H risco de um curto-circuito. u Os objetos afiados como, p. ex., pregos ou chaves de

fendas, assim como o efeito de foras externas podem danificar o acumulador. Podem causar um curto-circuito interno e o acumulador pode ficar queimado, deitar fumo, explodir ou sobreaquecer.

u Use a bateria apenas em produtos do fabricante. S assim que a bateria protegida contra sobrecarga perigosa.

Proteger a bateria contra calor, p. ex. tambm contra uma permanente radiao solar, fogo, sujidade, gua e humidade. H risco de exploso ou de um curto-circuito.

Nota: A bateria fornecida parcialmente carregada. Para assegurar a completa potncia da bateria, a bateria dever ser carregada completamente no carregador antes da primeira utilizao. A bateria de ltio pode ser carregada a qualquer altura, sem que a sua vida til seja reduzida. Uma interrupo do processo de carga no danifica a bateria. O acumulador de ies de ltio est protegido contra descarga completa pelo sistema "Electronic Cell Protection (ECP)". Montar/trocar a ferramenta de trabalho Se necessrio, dever remover uma ferramenta de trabalho que j estiver montada. Para remover o acessrio, solte o parafuso de aperto (11) com a chave de sextavado interior (12) e retira a ferramenta. Coloque a ferramenta de trabalho desejada (p. ex. lmina de serra de imerso (10)) no encaixe (7), de forma a que a curvatura aponte para baixo (ver figura na pgina grfica, inscrio da ferramenta de trabalho legvel de cima).

Rode a ferramenta de trabalho para a posio de trabalho favorvel e deixe-a encaixar nos cames do encaixe da ferramenta (7). So possveis doze posies dispostas por 30. Fixe o acessrio com um parafuso (11). Aperte o parafuso com a chave de sextavado interno (12) at a cabea do parafuso ficar encostada ferramenta de lixar. u Controle a posio firme da ferramenta de trabalho.

As ferramentas de trabalho mal colocadas ou mal fixadas podem soltar-se durante o funcionamento e causar perigo.

Seleo da folha de lixa Esto disponveis diversas folhas de lixar, de acordo com o material a processar e com o desbaste desejado da superfcie:

Colocar/substituir a folha de lixar na placa de lixar A placa de lixar (15) composta por um tecido autoaderente, para que possa fixar as folhas de lixa de forma simples e rpida por meio de autoaderncia. Sacuda o tecido de fixao autoaderente da placa de lixar (15) antes de colocar a folha de lixa (16), para permitir uma boa aderncia. Alinhar a folha de lixar (16) de um dos lados da placa de lixar (15) e, a seguir, colocar a folha de lixar sobre a placa de lixar e pressionar com firmeza. Para assegurar uma aspirao de p ideal, certifique-se de que os orifcios puncionados na folha de lixa coincidem com os furos na placa de lixar. Para remover a folha de lixa (16) segure-a pela ponta e puxe-a da placa de lixar (15). Pode usar todas as folhas de lixa, ls de cordeiro para polir e limpar da srie Delta 93 mm do programa de acessrios Bosch. Acessrios de lixar, como no tecido/feltro de polir, devem ser fixos da mesma forma sobre a placa de lixar.

Aspirao de p/de aparas Ps de materiais como por exemplo, tintas que contm chumbo, alguns tipos de madeira, minerais e metais, podem ser nocivos sade. O contacto ou a inalao dos ps pode provocar reaes alrgicas e/ou doenas nas vias respiratrias do utilizador ou das pessoas que se encontrem por perto. Certos ps, como por exemplo p de carvalho e faia so considerados como sendo cancergenos, especialmente quando juntos com substncias para o tratamento de madeiras (cromato, produtos de proteo da madeira). Material que contm asbesto s deve ser processado por pessoal especializado. Se possvel dever usar um dispositivo de aspirao de

p apropriado para o material. Assegurar uma boa ventilao do local de trabalho. recomendvel usar uma mscara de proteo

respiratria com filtro da classe P2. Observe as diretivas para os materiais a serem processados, vigentes no seu pas. u Evite a acumulao de p no local de trabalho. Ps

podem entrar levemente em ignio.

Ligar a aspirao de p (ver figura A) O aspirao de p (14) s se destina para trabalhos com a placa de lixar (15), em combinao com outras ferramentas de trabalho no serve para nada. Ligue sempre uma aspirao de p para lixar. Para a montagem da aspirao de p (14) (acessrios) retire o acessrio. Deslize a aspirao de p (14) at ao batente por cima do encaixe da ferramenta (7) para cima do colar de aperto da ferramenta eltrica. Rode a aspirao de p para a posio desejada (no diretamente por baixo da ferramenta eltrica). Feche a alavanca tensora (17) para fixar a aspirao de p. Insira o adaptador de aspirao (19) da mangueira de aspirao (20) no bocal de aspirao (18). Ligue a mangueira de aspirao (20) a um aspirador (acessrio). Encontra um resumo da ligao aos diferentes aspiradores na pgina grfica. O aspirador de p deve ser apropriado para o material a ser trabalhado. Utilize um aspirador especial para aspirar p que seja extremamente nocivo sade, cancergeno ou seco.

Funcionamento Colocao em funcionamento Colocar a bateria Nota: A utilizao de baterias no indicadas para a sua ferramenta eltrica pode causar falhas de funcionamento ou danos na ferramenta eltrica. Introduza a bateria carregada (3) no punho at esta encaixar de forma audvel e ficar face com o punho.

Ligar/desligar u Certifique-se de que consegue acionar o interruptor

de ligar/desligar sem ter de soltar o punho. Para ligar a ferramenta eltrica, empurre o interruptor de ligar/desligar (1) para a frente, para que aparea no interruptor "I". Para desligar a ferramenta eltrica, empurre o interruptor de ligar/desligar (1) para cima, para que aparea no interruptor "0". Nota: Se a ferramenta eltrica se desligar automaticamente devido a bateria descarregada ou sobreaquecida, ento

desligue a ferramenta eltrica com o interruptor de ligar/ desligar (1). Carregue a bateria ou deixe-a arrefecer antes de voltar a ligar a ferramenta eltrica. Caso contrrio, a bateria pode ser danificada.

Pr-selecionar o n. de oscilaes Com a roda da pr-seleo do nmero de oscilaes (5) pode pr-selecionar o n. de oscilaes necessrio mesmo durante o funcionamento. O n. de oscilaes necessrio depende do material e das condies de trabalho e pode ser determinado por tentativas. Ao serrar, cortar e rebarbar materiais duros como p. ex. madeira ou metal, recomendado o nvel de oscilao "6", no caso de materiais macios como p. ex. plstico, o nvel de oscilao "4".

Instrues de trabalho u A bateria dever ser retirada antes de todos os

trabalhos na ferramenta eltrica (p. ex. manuteno, troca de ferramenta etc.) e antes de transportar ou de armazenar a mesma. H perigo de ferimentos se o interruptor de ligar/desligar for acionado involuntariamente.

u Espere a ferramenta eltrica parar completamente, antes de depositla.

Nota: No tape a abertura de ventilao (4) da ferramenta eltrica ao trabalhar, uma vez que isso reduz a durabilidade da ferramenta eltrica.

Princpio de trabalho Graas ao acionamento oscilante, o acessrio oscila at 20000 vezes por minuto em 2,8 para trs e para a frente. Isso permite um trabalho preciso no espao mais limitado.

Trabalhar com reduzida e uniforme fora de presso, caso contrrio o desempenho de trabalho reduzido e a ferramenta de trabalho pode bloquear.

Movimentar a ferramenta eltrica para l e para c durante o trabalho, para que a ferramenta de trabalho no seja demasiadamente aquecida e no bloqueie.

Serrar u S utilizar lminas de serra que estejam em perfeito

estado e que no apresentem danos. Lminas de serrar tortas e no suficiente afiadas podem quebrar, influenciar negativamente o corte ou causar um contragolpe.

u Ao serrar materiais macios, respeite as recomendaes e disposies legais do fabricante do material.

u S podem ser processados materiais macios como madeira, pladur ou semelhantes no processo de imerso!

Antes de serrar com lminas de serra HCS madeira, placas de aglomerado de madeira, materiais de construo, etc., verifique se h os corpos estranhos, como por exemplo pregos e parafusos, ou semelhantes. Se necessrio remova os corpos estranhos ou use lminas de serra em bimetal.

Cortar Nota: Tenha em conta que ao cortar azulejos, as ferramentas de trabalho esto sujeitas a um elevado desgaste numa utilizao prolongada.

Lixar O rendimento de desbaste e o padro de lixamento so determinados essencialmente atravs da folha de lixa selecionada, do nvel do nmero de oscilaes predefinido e da presso exercida. Apenas folhas de lixar impecveis garantem um excelente rendimento de desbaste e a proteo da ferramenta eltrica. Trabalhar com uma fora de presso uniforme para aumentar a vida til das folhas de lixar. Demasiada presso no resulta num melhor rendimento de desbaste, mas sim num maior desgaste da ferramenta eltrica e da folha de lixa. Para lixar ngulos, cantos e reas de difcil acesso tambm possvel trabalhar apenas com a ponta ou com o canto da placa de lixar. Ao lixar sobre um ponto s, possvel que a folha de lixa se aquea fortemente. Reduza o nmero de oscilaes e a presso e permita que a folha de lixa se arrefea em intervalos regulares. Jamais utilizar uma folha de lixa com a qual foi processado metal, para processar outros materiais. Use apenas acessrios de lixar Bosch originais. Ligue sempre uma aspirao de p para lixar.

Raspar Ao raspar selecione um nvel de oscilao elevado. Trabalhe sobre uma base macia (por exemplo madeira) em ngulos planos e com pouca fora de presso. Caso contrrio a esptula poder cortar a superfcie.

Indicador da proteo contra sobrecarga Numa utilizao correta, a ferramenta eltrica no pode ser sobrecarregada. Em caso de sobrecarga ou sada fora da faixa de temperatura permitida para a bateria, a nmero de rotaes reduzido ou a ferramenta desliga-se. No caso de um nmero de rotaes reduzido, a ferramenta eltrica s volta ao nmero de rotaes plenas depois de atingida a temperatura da bateria permitida. Em caso de desligamento automtico, desligue a ferramenta eltrica, deixe a bateria arrefecer e depois volte a ligar a ferramenta eltrica.

Indicaes sobre o manuseio ideal da bateria Proteger a bateria contra humidade e gua. Armazene a bateria apenas na faixa de temperatura de 20 C a 50 C. Por exemplo, no deixe a bateria dentro do automvel no vero. Limpar de vez em quando as aberturas de ventilao da bateria com um pincel macio, limpo e seco.

Um tempo de funcionamento reduzido aps o carregamento indica que a bateria est gasta e que deve ser substituda. Observe as indicaes sobre a eliminao de forma ecolgica.

Bahasa Indonesia Petunjuk Keselamatan Petunjuk keselamatan umum untuk perkakas listrik

PERINGATAN Baca semua peringatan, petunjuk, ilustrasi, dan spesifikasi

keselamatan yang diberikan bersama perkakas listrik ini. Kesalahan dalam menjalankan petunjuk di bawah ini dapat mengakibatkan sengatan listrik, kebakaran, dan/atau cedera serius.

Simpanlah semua peringatan dan petunjuk untuk penggunaan di masa mendatang. Istilah "perkakas listrik" dalam peringatan mengacu pada perkakas listrik yang dioperasikan dengan listrik (menggunakan kabel) atau perkakas listrik yang dioperasikan dengan baterai (tanpa kabel).

Keamanan tempat kerja u Jaga kebersihan dan pencahayaan area kerja. Area

yang berantakan atau gelap dapat memicu kecelakaan. u Jangan mengoperasikan perkakas listrik di

lingkungan yang dapat memicu ledakan, seperti adanya cairan, gas, atau debu yang mudah terbakar. Perkakas listrik dapat memancarkan bunga api yang kemudian mengakibatkan debu atau uap terbakar.

u Jauhkan dari jangkauan anak-anak dan pengamat saat mengoperasikan perkakas listrik. Gangguan dapat menyebabkan hilangnya kendali.

Keamanan listrik u Steker perkakas listrik harus sesuai dengan

stopkontak. Jangan pernah memodifikasi steker. Jangan menggunakan steker adaptor bersama dengan perkakas listrik yang terhubung dengan sistem grounding. Steker yang tidak dimodifikasi dan stopkontak yang cocok akan mengurangi risiko sengatan listrik.

u Hindari kontak badan dengan permukaan yang terhubung dengan sistem grounding, seperti pipa, radiator, kompor, dan lemari es. Terdapat peningkatan risiko terjadinya sengatan listrik jika badan Anda terhubung dengan sistem grounding.

u Perkakas listrik tidak boleh terpapar hujan atau basah. Air yang masuk ke dalam perkakas listrik menambah risiko terjadinya sengatan listrik.

u Jangan menyalahgunakan kabel. Jangan gunakan kabel untuk membawa, menarik, atau melepas steker perkakas listrik. Jauhkan kabel dari panas, minyak, tepi yang tajam, atau komponen yang bergerak. Kabel listrik yang rusak atau tersangkut menambah risiko terjadinya sengatan listrik.

u Saat mengoperasikan perkakas listrik di luar ruangan, gunakan kabel ekstensi yang sesuai untuk penggunaan di luar ruangan. Penggunaan kabel yang cocok untuk pemakaian di luar ruangan mengurangi risiko terjadinya sengatan listrik.

u Jika perkakas listrik memang harus dioperasikan di tempat yang lembap, gunakan pemutus arus listrik residu (RCD). Penggunaan RCD akan mengurangi risiko terjadinya sengatan listrik.

Keselamatan personel u Tetap waspada, perhatikan aktivitas yang sedang

dikerjakan dan gunakan akal sehat saat mengoperasikan perkakas listrik. Jangan gunakan perkakas listrik saat mengalami kelelahan atau di bawah pengaruh narkoba, alkohol, atau obat-obatan. Jika perkakas listrik dioperasikan dengan daya

konsentrasi yang rendah, hal tersebut dapat menyebabkan cedera serius.

u Gunakan peralatan pelindung diri. Selalu kenakan pelindung mata. Penggunaan perlengkapan pelindung seperti penutup telinga, helm, sepatu anti licin, dan masker debu akan mengurangi cedera.

u Hindari start yang tidak disengaja. Pastikan switch berada di posisi off sebelum perkakas listrik dihubungkan ke sumber daya listrik dan/atau baterai, diangkat, atau dibawa. Membawa perkakas listrik dengan jari menempel pada tombol atau perkakas listrik dalam keadaan hidup dapat memicu kecelakaan.

u Singkirkan kunci penyetel atau kunci pas sebelum menghidupkan perkakas listrik. Perkakas atau kunci pas yang masih menempel pada komponen perkakas listrik yang berputar dapat menyebabkan cedera.

u Jangan melampaui batas. Berdirilah secara mantap dan selalu jaga keseimbangan. Hal ini akan memberikan kontrol yang lebih baik terhadap perkakas listrik pada situasi yang tak terduga.

u Kenakan pakaian dengan wajar. Jangan mengenakan perhiasan atau pakaian yang longgar. Jauhkan rambut dan pakaian dari komponen yang bergerak. Pakaian yang longgar, rambut panjang, atau perhiasan dapat tersangkut dalam komponen yang bergerak.

u Jika disediakan perangkat untuk sambungan pengisapan debu dan alat pengumpulan, pastikan perangkat tersebut terhubung dan digunakan dengan benar. Penggunaan alat pengumpulan dapat mengurangi bahaya yang disebabkan oleh debu.

u Jangan berpuas diri dan mengabaikan prinsip keselamatan karena terbiasa mengoperasikan perkakas. Tindakan yang kurang hati-hati dapat mengakibatkan cedera serius dalam waktu sepersekian detik.

Penggunaan dan pemeliharaan perkakas listrik u Jangan memaksakan perkakas listrik. Gunakan

perkakas listrik yang sesuai untuk pekerjaan yang dilakukan. Perkakas listrik yang sesuai akan bekerja dengan lebih baik dan aman sesuai tujuan penggunaan.

u Jangan gunakan perkakas listrik dengan switch yang tidak dapat dioperasikan. Perkakas listrik yang switchnya yang tidak berfungsi dapat menimbulkan bahaya dan harus diperbaiki.

u Lepaskan steker dari sumber listrik dan/atau lepas baterai, jika dapat dilepaskan dari perkakas listrik sebelum menyetel, mengganti aksesori, atau menyimpan perkakas listrik. Tindakan preventif akan mengurangi risiko menghidupkan perkakas listrik secara tidak disengaja.

u Jauhkan dan simpan perkakas listrik dari jangkauan anak-anak dan jangan biarkan orang-orang yang tidak mengetahui cara menggunakan perkakas listrik, mengoperasikan perkakas listrik. Perkakas listrik dapat membahayakan jika digunakan oleh orang-orang yang tidak terlatih.

u Lakukan pemeliharaan perkakas listrik dan aksesori. Periksa komponen yang bergerak apabila tidak lurus atau terikat, kerusakan komponen, dan kondisi lain yang dapat mengganggu pengoperasian perkakas listrik. Apabila rusak, perbaiki perkakas listrik sebelum digunakan. Kecelakaan sering terjadi karena perkakas listrik tidak dirawat dengan baik.

u Jaga ketajaman dan kebersihan alat. Alat pemotong dengan pisau pemotong yang tajam dan dirawat dengan baik tidak akan mudah tersangkut dan lebih mudah dikendalikan.

u Gunakan perkakas listrik, aksesori, dan komponen perkakas dll sesuai dengan petunjuk ini, dengan mempertimbangkan kondisi kerja dan pekerjaan yang akan dilakukan. Penggunaan perkakas listrik untuk tujuan berbeda dari fungsinya dapat menyebabkan situasi yang berbahaya.

u Jaga gagang dan permukaan genggam agar tetap kering, bersih, dan bebas dari minyak dan lemak. Gagang dan permukaan genggam yang licin tidak menjamin keamanan kerja dan kontrol alat yang baik pada situasi yang tidak terduga.

Penggunaan dan pemeliharaan perkakas baterai u Isi ulang daya hanya dengan pengisi daya yang

ditentukan oleh produsen. Pengisi daya yang sesuai untuk satu jenis set baterai dapat menyebabkan risiko kebakaran apabila digunakan dengan set baterai lain.

u Hanya gunakan perkakas listrik dengan set baterai yang dirancang khusus. Penggunaan set baterai lain dapat menyebabkan risiko cedera dan kebakaran.

u Apabila set baterai tidak digunakan, jauhkan dari benda logam lainnya, seperti klip kertas, koin, kunci, paku, sekrup, atau benda logam kecil lainnya yang dapat membuat sambungan dari satu terminal ke terminal lainnya. Memendekkan terminal baterai dapat menyebabkan kebakaran atau api.

u Cairan dapat keluar dari baterai jika baterai tidak digunakan dengan benar; hindari kontak. Jika terjadi kontak secara tidak disengaja, bilas dengan air. Jika cairan mengenai mata, segara hubungi bantuan medis. Cairan yang keluar dari baterai dapat menyebabkan iritasi atau luka bakar.

u Jangan gunakan set baterai atau perkakas yang rusak atau telah dimodifikasi. Baterai yang rusak atau telah dimodifikasi dapat menimbulkan kejadian yang tak terduga seperti kebakaran, ledakan, atau risiko cedera.

u Jangan meletakkan set baterai atau perkakas di dekat api atau suhu tinggi. Paparan terhadap api atau suhu di atas 130 C dapat memicu ledakan.

u Ikuti semua petunjuk pengisian daya dan jangan mengisi daya set baterai atau perkakas di luar rentang suhu yang ditentukan dalam petunjuk. Pengisian daya yang tidak tepat atau di luar rentang suhu yang ditentukan dapat merusak baterai dan meningkatkan risiko kebakaran.

Servis u Minta teknisi berkualifikasi untuk menyervis

perkakas listrik dengan hanya menggunakan suku cadang yang identik. Dengan demikian, hal ini akan memastikan keamanan perkakas listrik.

u Jangan pernah melakukan servis pada baterai yang telah rusak. Servis baterai hanya boleh dilakukan oleh produsen atau penyedia servis resmi.

Petunjuk Keselamatan untuk Multi Cutter u Pegang perkakas listrik pada permukaan gagang

isolator saat digunakan, karena aksesori pemotong dapat saja bersentuhan dengan kabel yang tidak terlihat atau kabelnya sendiri. Aksesori pemotong yang bersentuhan dengan kabel yang dialiri listrik dapat menyebabkan terbukanya bagian logam dari alat yang dialiri listrik sehingga berisiko mengakibatkan sengatan listrik pada operator.

u Gunakan penjepit atau cara lain yang praktis untuk mengamankan dan menopang benda kerja pada permukaan yang stabil. Benda kerja dapat goyah atau kehilangan kendali jika dipegang dengan tangan atau ditahan dengan tubuh Anda.

u Hanya gunakan perkakas listrik untuk melakukan penggerindaan kering. Air yang masuk ke dalam perkakas listrik menambah risiko terjadinya kontak listrik.

u Waspada terhadap risiko terbakar! Hindari benda kerja dan gerinda agar tidak menjadi terlalu panas. Kosongkan kontainer debu sebelum Anda menghentikan pekerjaan sementara. Debu penggerindaan pada kantung debu, microfilter, kantung kertas (atau pada kantung filter atau filter pengisap debu) dapat terbakar dengan sendirinya pada kondisi tertentu, misalnya akibat percikan api saat menggerinda logam. Khususnya, terdapat bahaya jika debu penggerindaan tercampur dengan sisa cat, sisa poliuretana, atau bahan kimia lainnya dan benda kerja dalam keadaan panas setelah penggerindaan dalam waktu yang lama.

u Jauhkan tangan Anda dari area penggergajian. Jangan menjangkau ke bawah benda kerja. Bersentuhan dengan mata gergaji dapat mengakibatkan cedera.

u Bersihkan lubang ventilasi pada perkakas listrik secara rutin. Kipas angin motor menarik debu ke dalam rumahan dan debu logam dalam jumlah yang besar dan listrik bisa mengakibatkan bahaya.

u Gunakanlah alat detektor logam yang cocok untuk mencari kabel dan pipa yang tidak terlihat atau hubungi perusahaan pengadaan setempat. Sentuhan dengan kabel-kabel listrik dapat mengakibatkan api dan kontak listrik. Pipa gas yang dirusak dapat mengakibatkan ledakan. Pipa air yang dirusak mengakibatkan barang- barang menjadi rusak.

u Pegang erat perkakas listrik dengan kedua tangan selama mengoperasikannya dan pastikan Anda berdiri di posisi aman. Gunakan perkakas listrik dengan kedua tangan secara hati-hati.

u Kenakan sarung tangan pelindung saat mengganti alat kerja. Alat kerja menjadi panas jika dipakai untuk waktu yang lama.

u Jangan mengerik material yang lembap (misalnya kertas dinding) dan pada permukaan yang basah. Air yang masuk ke dalam perkakas listrik menambah risiko terjadinya kontak listrik.

u Jangan gunakan cairan yang mengandung pelarut saat menangani permukaan yang akan dikerjakan. Pada waktu mengikis, bahan yang dikerjakan menjadi panas dan dapat menimbulkan uap yang beracun.

u Berhati-hatilah dengan ekstra saat memegang alat pengerik dan pengukur. Peralatan tersebut sangat tajam dan dapat menimbulkan risiko cedera.

u Asap dapat keluar apabila terjadi kerusakan atau penggunaan yang tidak tepat pada baterai. Baterai dapat terbakar atau meledak. Biarkan udara segar mengalir masuk dan kunjungi dokter apabila mengalami gangguan kesehatan. Asap tersebut dapat mengganggu saluran pernafasan.

u Jangan membuka baterai. Ada bahaya terjadinya korsleting.

u Baterai dapat rusak akibat benda-benda lancip, seperti jarum, obeng, atau tekanan keras dari luar. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan terjading hubungan singkat internal dan baterai dapat terbakar, berasap, meledak, atau mengalami panas berlebih.

u Hanya gunakan baterai pada produk yang dibuat oleh produsen. Hanya dengan cara ini, baterai dapat terlindung dari kelebihan muatan.

Lindungi baterai dari panas, misalnya juga dari paparan sinar matahari dalam waktu yang lama, api, kotoran, air dan kelembapan. Terdapat risiko ledakan dan korsleting.

Spesifikasi produk dan performa Bacalah semua petunjuk keselamatan dan petunjuk penggunaan. Kesalahan dalam menjalankan petunjuk keselamatan dan petunjuk penggunaan dapat mengakibatkan kontak listrik, kebakaran, dan/atau luka-luka yang berat.

Cara memasang u Sebelum melakukan semua pekerjaan pada perkakas

listrik (misalnya merawat, mengganti alat kerja, dsb.) serta selama transpor dan penyimpanan, keluarkanlah baterai dari perkakas lsitrik. Terdapat risiko cedera apabila tombol untuk menghidupkan dan mematikan dioperasikan tanpa sengaja.

Mengisi daya baterai u Hanya gunakan pengisi daya yang tercantum pada

data teknis. Hanya pengisi daya ini yang sesuai dengan baterai li-ion yang digunakan pada perkakas listrik Anda.

Catatan: Baterai dikirim dalam keadaan terisi sebagian. Untuk memastikan kinerja penuh baterai, isi penuh daya baterai ke pengisi daya sebelum menggunakannya untuk pertama kali. Daya baterai li-ion dapat diisi setiap saat tanpa mengurangi masa pakainya. Penghentian proses pengisian daya tidak merusak baterai. Baterai li-ion terlindung dari pengosongan daya total dengan "Electronic Cell Protection (ECP)". Jika baterai habis, perkakas listrik dimatikan oleh pengaman: Alat sisipan berhenti beroperasi. u Jangan menekan kembali tombol on/off jika perkakas

listrik mati secara otomatis. Baterai dapat rusak. Untuk melepas baterai (3), tekan tombol pembuka kunci baterai (2) dan tarik baterai ke belakang dari perkakas listrik. Jangan melepas baterai dengan paksa.

Indikator level pengisian baterai Ketiga LED berwarna hijau pada indikator level pengisian baterai (6) menunjukkan level pengisian baterai (3). Indikator level pengisian baterai hanya menyala selama 5 detik setelah diaktifkan.

Anda dapat menggunakan semua kertas ampelas, kain flanel pemolesan dan pembersihan seri Delta 93 mm program aksesori Bosch. Beberapa debu tertentu seperti misalnya debu kayu pohon ek atau pohon fagus silvatica dianggap dapat mengakibatkan penyakit kanker, terutama dalam campuran dengan bahan- bahan tambahan untuk pengolahan kayu (kromat, obat pengawet kayu). Bahan-bahan yang mengandung asbes hanya boleh dikerjakan oleh orang-orang yang ahli. Gunakanlah hanya pengisap debu yang cocok untuk

mengisap bahan yang dikerjakan. Pastikan terdapat ventilasi udara yang baik di tempat

kerja. Dianjurkan untuk memakai masker anti debu dengan filter

kelas P2. Taatilah peraturan-peraturan untuk bahan-bahan yang dikerjakan yang berlaku di negara Anda. u Hindari debu yang banyak terkumpul di tempat kerja.

Debu dapat tersulut dengan mudah.

Hubungkan ekstraksi debu (lihat gambar A) Unit ekstraksi debu (14) hanya dirancang untuk digunakan dengan bantalan ampelas (15), tidak dapat dikombinasikan dengan alat sisipan lainnya. Selalu hubungkan ekstraksi debu untuk pengampelasan. Lepas alat sisipan untuk pemasangan ekstraksi debu (14) (aksesori). Pasang adaptor (19) dari slang pengisapan (20) ke soket (18). Hubungkan slang pengisap (20) dengan ekstraksi debu (aksesori). Ikhtisar untuk menyambungkan ekstraktor debu yang berbeda dapat ditemukan pada halaman grafik. Mesin pengisap debu harus sesuai dengan bahan yang dikerjakan. Bekerjalah dengan tekanan yang ringan dan merata, jika tidak, daya kerja akan berkurang dan alat sisipan dapat terhenti.

Selama bekerja, gerakkan perkakas listrik ke sana ke mari agar alat sisipan tidak menjadi terlalu panas dan tidak terhenti.

Menggergaji u Gunakanlah hanya mata gergaji yang tidak rusak dan

mulus. Mata gergaji yang melengkung atau tidak tajam dapat patah, membuat potongan tidak bagus, atau mengakibatkan sentakan.

u Jika menggergaji bahan-bahan bangunan yang ringan, perhatikanlah peraturan dari pemerintah dan petunjuk dari produsen material.

u Hanya bahan lunak seperti kayu, gipsum atau sejenisnya yang boleh digunakan pada proses penggergajian!

Sebelum menggergaji, periksa kayu, papan partikel, bahan bangunan dll dari benda asing seperti paku, baut, atau sejenisnya, dengan mata gergaji HCS. Singkirkan benda- benda tersebut atau gunakan mata gergaji bimetal.

Memotong Catatan: Pada pemotongan ubin dinding, perhatikan bahwa alat sisipan akan mengalami keausan saat digunakan pada waktu yang lama.

Mengampelas Pengikisan dan pola pengampelasan ditentukan oleh pemilihan kertas ampelas, tingkat jumlah getaran yang dipilih sebelumnya dan daya tekan. Hanya kertas ampelas yang baik yang menghasilkan kinerja pengampelasan yang sempurna dan memelihara fungsi perkakas listrik. Pastikan daya tekan selalu merata agar meningkatkan masa pakai kertas ampelas. Menambah daya tekan tidak akan meningkatkan kinerja pengampelasan, melainkan hanya membuat perkakas listrik dan kertas ampelas menjadi aus.

Untuk mengampelas secara teliti di bagian sudut, tepi dan area yang sulit dijangkau, Anda dapat cukup menggunakan ujung atau tepi bantalan ampelas. Kertas ampelas dapat sangat memanas saat pengampelasan. Kurangi jumlah getaran dan daya tekan, dan dinginkan kertas ampelas secara teratur. Kertas ampelas yang telah digunakan untuk mengerjakan logam, tidak boleh digunakan untuk mengerjakan bahan- bahan lainnya. Hanya gunakan aksesori pengampelasan Bosch yang asli.
