Sachschden (elektrischer Schlag, Hautverbrennung, Brand) verursa- chen. Die folgenden Sicherheits- und Gefahrenhinweise dienen nicht nur zum Schutz Ihrer Gesundheit bzw. der Gesundheit Dritter, sondern auch zum Schutz des Produktes. Beachten Sie daher diese Sicher- heitshinweise und bergeben Sie diese Anleitung bei Weitergabe des Artikels.

Dieses Wrmeunterbett darf nicht von Personen benutzt werden, die unempfindlich gegen Hitze sind und von anderen schutzbedrftigen Personen, die nicht auf eine berhitzung reagieren knnen (z.B. auch Diabetikern, Personen mit krankheitsbedingten Hautvernderungen oder vernarbten Hautarealen im Anwendungsgebiet, nach der Einnah- me von schmerzlindernden Medikamenten oder Alkohol).

Dieses Wrme-Unterbett darf nicht bei sehr jungen Kindern (0-3 Jahre) angewandt werden, weil diese nicht auf eine berhitzung reagieren knnen.

Dieses Wrme-Unterbett darf nicht von jungen Kindern (3-8 Jahre) benutzt werden, es sei denn der Schalter wurde von einem Elternteil

oder einer Aufsichtsperson eingestellt und das Kind wurde ausreichend eingewiesen wie es das Wrme-Unterbett sicher betreibt.

Dieses Wrme-Unterbett kann von lteren Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darber sowie von Personen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fhigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen be- nutzt werden, wenn Sie beaufsichtigt werden und bezglich des si- cheren Gebrauchs des Wrme-Unterbettes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstehen.

Kinder drfen nicht mit dem Wrme-Unterbett spielen. Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung drfen nicht von Kindern ohne Be-

aufsichtigung durchgefhrt werden. Dieses Wrme-Unterbett ist nicht fr den Gebrauch in Krankenhusern

bestimmt. Keine Nadeln hineinstechen. Nicht gefaltet oder zusammengeschoben benutzen. Nicht nass benutzen. Vor dem Gebrauch auf einem verstellbaren Bett ist zu prfen, dass das

Wrme-Unterbett und die Leitungen nicht beispielsweise in Scharniere eingeklemmt oder zusammengeschoben werden.

Dieses Wrme-Unterbett darf nur in Verbindung mit dem auf dem Eti- kett angegeben Schalter betrieben werden.

Die von diesem elektrischen Wrme-Unterbett ausgehenden elektri- schen und magnetischen Felder knnen unter Umstnden die Funkti- on Ihres Herzschrittmachers stren. Sie liegen jedoch weit unter den Grenzwerten: elektrische Feldstrke: max. 5000 V/m, magnetische Feldstrke: max. 80 A/m, magnetische Flussdichte: max. 0,1 Milli-Tesla. Bitte befragen Sie deshalb Ihren Arzt und den Hersteller Ihres Herz- schrittmachers vor der Benutzung dieses Wrme-Unterbettes.

Nicht an den Leitungen ziehen, drehen oder sie scharf knicken. Dieses Wrme-Unterbett ist hufig dahingehend zu prfen, ob es An-

zeichen von Abnutzung oder Beschdigung zeigt. Falls solche Anzeichen vorhanden sind, das Wrme-Unterbett unsach-

gem gebraucht wurde oder es sich nicht mehr erwrmt, muss es vor erneutem Einschalten erst durch den Hersteller berprft werden.

Wenn die Netzanschlussleitung dieses Gerts beschdigt wird, muss sie entsorgt werden. Ist sie nicht abnehmbar, muss das Gert entsorgt werden.

Whrend dieses Wrme-Unterbett eingeschaltet ist, darf kein Gegenstand (z. B. Koffer oder Wschekorb) daraufgelegt werden, keine Wrmequelle wie Bettflasche, Heizkissen oder hnliches daraufgelegt werden.

Die elektronischen Bauteile im Schalter erwrmen sich beim Gebrauch des Wrme-Unterbettes. Der Schalter darf deshalb nicht abgedeckt werden oder auf den Wrme-Unterbett liegen wenn es betrieben wird.

Sollten Sie noch Fragen zur Anwendung unserer Gerte haben, so wenden Sie sich bitte an unseren Kundenservice.

Beachten Sie unbedingt die Hinweise zur Bedienung (Kapitel 4), zur Reinigung und Pflege (Kapitel 5) und zur Aufbewahrung (Kapitel 6).

3. Bestimmungsgeme Verwendung

ACHTUNG Dieses Wrme-Unterbett ist nur zur Erwrmung von Betten bestimmt.

4. Bedienung 4.1 Sicherheit

ACHTUNG Das Wrme-Unterbett ist mit einem SICHERHEITS-SYSTEM ausgestattet. Diese Sensortechnik ver- hindert eine berhitzung des Wrme-Unterbettes auf seiner gesamten Flche durch automatische Abschaltung im Fehlerfall. Wenn das SICHERHEITS-SYSTEM das Wrme-Unterbett abgeschaltet hat, werden die Temperaturstufen im eingeschalteten Zustand nicht mehr beleuchtet.

Bitte beachten Sie, dass das Wrme-Unterbett nach einem Fehlerfall aus Grnden der Sicherheit nicht mehr betrieben werden kann und an die angegebene Service-Adresse eingesendet werden muss.

Verbinden Sie keinesfalls das defekte Wrmeunterbett mit einem anderen Schalter des gleichen Typs. Dies wrde ebenfalls zu einer finalen Abschaltung durch das Sicherheitssystem im Schalter fhren.

4.2 Inbetriebnahme Legen Sie das Wrme-Unterbett flach ausgebreitet auf Ihre Matratze, so dass sich der Leitungseintritt unge- fhr auf Schulterhhe befindet (siehe Abbildung). Der Kopfbereich ist nicht beheizt. Anschlieend ziehen Sie das Seitenteil wie ein Spannbetttuch ber die Seiten Ihrer Matratze. Das Wrme- Unter bett ist so konzipiert, dass es sowohl fr Matratzen der Gre 90x200 cm als auch 100x200 cm passt. Danach befestigen Sie Ihr Spannbetttuch wie gewohnt, so dass sich das Wrme-Unterbett zwischen Ihrer Matratze und dem Spannbetttuch befindet.

ACHTUNG Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Wrme-Unterbett vollstndig flach ausgebreitet ist und es sich im Gebrauch nicht zusammenschiebt oder Falten bilden kann.

Verbinden Sie zuerst den Schalter mit dem Heizkrper in dem Sie die Steckkupplung zusammenfgen. Stecken Sie danach den Netzstecker in die Steckdose.

4.3 Einschalten Stellen Sie den Schieber fr EIN/AUS und Temperaturstufen auf Stufe 1, 2 oder 3, um das Wrme-Unterbett einzuschalten. Im eingeschalteten Zustand sind die Temperaturstufen beleuchtet.

4.4 Temperatur einstellen Stufe 0: AUS Stufe 1: Minimale Wrme Stufe 2: Mittlere Wrme Stufe 3: Maximale Wrme

WARNUNG Wenn das Wrme-Unterbett ber mehrere Stunden benutzt wird, emp- fehlen wir die niedrigste Temperaturstufe am Schalter einzustellen, um eine berhitzung des Anwenders zu vermeiden.

HINWEIS Die schnellste Erwrmung des Wrme-Unterbettes erreichen Sie, indem Sie zuerst die hchste

Temperaturstufe einstellen. Wir empfehlen dringend, das Wrme-Unterbett ca. 30 Minuten vor dem Zubettgehen einzuschalten

und mit dem Oberbett abzudecken, um ein Entweichen der Wrme zu verhindern.

4.5 Abschaltautomatik Bei diesem Wrme-Unterbett erfolgt eine automatische Abschaltung nach ca. 3 Stunden. Whrend das Wrme-Unterbett erwrmt wird, leuchtet die rote Signalleuchte im Schalter. Nach Ablauf der Abschaltzeit wird das Wrme-Unterbett nicht mehr erwrmt und die rote Signalleuchte beginnt zu blinken. Um das Wrme- Unterbett wieder zu erwrmen, stellen Sie den Schalter zunchst fr ca. 5 Sekunden auf die Schalterstellung 0" (AUS) und whlen danach die gewnschte Temperaturstufe. Wird das Wrme-Unterbett nach erfolgter Zeitabschaltung nicht mehr benutzt, sollte es ausgeschaltet (Stufe 0") oder der Netzstecker aus der Steck- dose gezogen werden.

4.6 Ausschalten Stellen Sie den Schieber fr EIN/AUS und Temperaturstufen auf die Position AUS ( 0 ), um das Wrme- Unterbett auszuschalten.

HINWEIS Falls das Wrme-Unterbett fr einige Tage nicht verwendet wird, stellen Sie den Schieber fr EIN/ AUS und Temperaturstufen auf die Position AUS ( 0 ) und ziehen den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.

5. Reinigung und Pflege

WARNUNG Ziehen Sie vor der Reinigung immer zuerst den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose. Trennen Sie anschlieend die Steckkupplung und somit den Schalter vom Wrme- Unterbett (siehe Abbildung).

ACHTUNG Der Schalter darf niemals mit Wasser oder mit anderen Flssigkeiten in Kontakt

kommen. Er kann sonst beschdigt werden. Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung des Schalters ein trockenes fusselfreies Tuch. Verwenden Sie keine chemischen Reiniger oder Scheuermittel. Kleine Flecken auf dem Wrme-Unterbett knnen mit einem angefeuchteten Tuch sowie ggf. mit etwas flssigem Feinwaschmittel entfernt werden.

ACHTUNG Beachten Sie, dass das Wrme-Unterbett nicht chemisch gereinigt, ausgewrungen, maschinell

getrocknet, gemangelt oder gebgelt werden darf. Dieses Wrme-Unterbett ist maschinenwaschbar. Stellen Sie die Waschmaschine auf einen besonders schonenden Waschgang bei 30 C ein (Wollwaschgang). Benutzen Sie ein Feinwaschmittel und dosieren Sie es nach Angaben des Herstellers.

ACHTUNG Bitte beachten Sie, dass das Wrme-Unterbett durch allzu hufiges Waschen beansprucht wird.

Das Wrme-Unterbett sollte deshalb whrend der gesamten Lebensdauer max. 5 Mal in einer Waschmaschine gewaschen werden.

Ziehen Sie direkt nach dem Waschen das noch feuchte Wrme-Unterbett auf das Originalma in Form und lassen Sie es flach ausgebreitet ber einem Wschestnder trocknen.

ACHTUNG Verwenden Sie keine Wscheklammern oder hnliches um das Wrme-Unterbett am Wschestnder

zu befestigen. Andernfalls kann das Wrme-Unterbett beschdigt werden. Verbinden Sie den Schalter erst wieder mit dem Wrme-Unterbett wenn die Steckkupplung und das

Wrme-Unterbett vollstndig trocken sind. Andernfalls kann das Wrme-Unterbett beschdigt werden.

WARNUNG Schalten Sie das Wrme-Unterbett auf keinen Fall zum Trocknen ein! Andernfalls besteht die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages.

6. Aufbewahrung Wenn Sie das Wrmeunterbett lngere Zeit nicht verwenden, empfehlen wir Ihnen, es in der Originalverpa- ckung aufzubewahren. Trennen Sie hierzu die Steckkupplung und somit den Schalter vom Wrme-Unterbett.

ACHTUNG Bitte lassen Sie das Wrme-Unterbett zuerst abkhlen. Andernfalls kann das Wrme-Unterbett beschdigt werden. Legen Sie whrend der Lagerung keine Gegenstnde auf dem Wrme- Unterbett ab um zu vermeiden, dass es scharf geknickt wird.

7. Entsorgung Im Interesse des Umweltschutzes darf das Gert am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht mit dem Hausmll entsorgt werden. Die Entsorgung kann ber entsprechende Sammelstellen in Ihrem Land erfolgen. Entsorgen Sie das Gert gem der Elektro- und Elektronik Altgerte EG-Richtlinie WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). Bei Rckfragen wenden Sie sich an die fr die Entsorgung zustndige kommunale Behrde.

10. Garantie / Service Wir leisten 5 Jahre Garantie ab Kaufdatum fr Material- und Fabrikationsfehler des Produktes. Die Garantie gilt nicht: Im Falle von Schden, die auf unsachgemer Bedienung beruhen. Fr Verschleiteile. Bei Eigenverschulden des Kunden. Sobald das Gert durch eine nicht autorisierte Werkstatt geffnet wurde.

Die gesetzlichen Gewhrleistungen des Kunden bleiben durch die Garantie unberhrt. Fr Geltendmachung eines Garantiefalles innerhalb der Garantiezeit ist durch den Kunden der Nachweis des Kaufes zu fhren. Die Garantie ist innerhalb eines Zeitraumes von 5 Jahren ab Kaufdatum gegenber der Beurer GmbH, Ulm (Germany) geltend zu machen.

This heated underblanket must not be used by people who are not sensitive to heat or by vulnerable people who may not be able to react to overheating (e.g. diabetics, persons with skin changes related to illness or persons with scarred skin in the area where the pad is to be applied, after taking any pain-relieving medication or alcohol).

This heated underblanket may not be used for very young children under the age of three (0-3) due to their inability to react to overheating.

This heated underblanket may not be used for young children over the age of three (3-8) unless the control has been pre-set by a parent or guardian and unless the child has been adequately instructed how to operate the heated underblanket safely.

This heated underblanket can be used by older children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or men-

tal capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

Children shall not play with the heated underblanket. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without

supervision. This heated underblanket is not intended for use in hospitals. Do not insert pins. Do not use folded or rucked. Do not use if wet. If the heated underblanket is used on an adjustable bed, check that

the heated underblanket and cord do not become trapped or rucked, for example in hinges.

This heated underblanket must be used with the type of switch that is marked on the rating label of the heated underblanket, only.

The electric and magnetic fields emitted by this electrical heated under- blanket may possibly interfere with the operation of pacemakers. However, they are well below the permissible limits: electric field strength: maximum of 5,000 V/m, magnetic field strength: maximum of 80 A/m, magnetic flux density: maximum of 0.1 millitesla. Please therefore ask your doctor and the manufacturer of your pacemaker before using this product.

Do not pull, twist or make any sharp kinks in the cords. This heated underblanket must be examined frequently for signs of

wear or damage. If there are such signs, if the heated underblanket has been misused

or does not work, return it to the supplier before switching it on again. If the mains connection cable of this device is damaged, it must be

disposed of. If it cannot be removed, the device must be disposed of. While this heated underblanket is switched on

never place any objects on it (e.g. suitcases or laundry basket), never place any heat source on it, such as a hot water bottle,

heating pad etc. When in use, the electronic components in the controller of the heated

underblanket make the controller slightly warm. The controller should therefore never be covered or placed on the heated underblanket when it is in operation.

3. Proper Use

CAUTION This heated underblanket is designed for warming beds, only.

4. Operation 4.1 Safety

CAUTION This heated underblanket is equipped with a SAFETY SYSTEM. This sensor technology prevents the entire surface of the heated underblanket from overheating by automatically switching off the heated underblanket in the event of a fault. If the safety system has switched off the heated underblanket, the temperature setting is not illuminated any more even when the heated underblanket is switched on.

Please note that the heated underblanket is not operable any more due to safety reasons in this case and has to be sent to the service address indicated.

Do not connect the defective heated underblanket with another controller of the same type. This would trigger a permanent switch-off via the controller safety system.

4.2 Putting into operation Spread out the heated underblanket flat on your mattress so that the cable entry is located at approximately shoulder height (see illustration). The head section is not heated. Then pull the side section over the sides of your mattress like a fitted sheet. The heated underblanket is designed to fit mattresses in sizes 35x80 in (90x200 cm) and 38x80 in (100x200 cm). Then secure your fitted sheet as usual so that the heated underblanket is between your mattress and the fitted sheet.

CAUTION Make sure that the heated underblanket is spread out entirely flat and that it will not rumple up or crease when in use.

To operate the heated underblanket connect the controller to the heated underblanket by plugging in the connector.

Then plug in the supply plug into the mains outlet.

4.3 Switching on To switch on the heated underblanket, set the slider for ON/OFF and temperature settings to setting 1, 2 or 3. The temperature settings are illuminated when switched on.

4.4 Setting the temperature Setting 0: OFF Setting 1: minimum heat Setting 2: medium heat Setting 3: maximum heat

WARNING If the heated underblanket is used continuously (for several hours) it is recommended to use the lowest setting of the control to avoid overheat- ing of the user.

NOTE: The quickest way to heat up the heated underblanket is to select the highest temperature setting

of the controller, first. We strongly recommend switching on the heated underblanket approx. 30 minutes before going to

bed and covering it with the quilt to prevent the warmth from escaping.

4.5 Automatic switch-off This heated underblanket switches off automatically after approximately 3 hours. The red indicator light on the switch is illuminated while the heated underblanket is being heated. After the switch-off time expires, the heated underblanket is no longer heated and the red indicator light starts flashing. To heat the heated underblanket again, first set the controller to zero 0 (OFF) for approx. 5 seconds and then select the required temperature. If the heated underblanket is no longer used after timeout, it should be switched off (setting 0) or else disconnected from the mains.

4.6 Switching off To switch off the electric underblanket, set the slider for ON/OFF and temperature settings to the OFF (0) position.

NOTE: If the heated underblanket is not used for several days, set the slider for ON/OFF and temperature settings to the OFF (0) position and remove the mains plug from the socket.

5. Cleaning and care

WARNING Always remove the supply plug from the mains outlet and remove the controller from the heated underblanket by disconnecting it at the connector (see illustration).

CAUTION The controller must never come into contact with water or other liquids, as this

may cause damage. To clean the controller, use a dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use cleaning agents containing solvent or scouring agents. To remove stains from the heated underblanket use a damp cloth and, if necessary, a mild cleaning agent.

CAUTION Note that the heated underblanket must not be dry-cleaned, wrung out, machine dried or ironed.

The heated underblanket is machine washable. Set the washing machine to a particularly gentle, 30C cycle (woolens programme). Use a mild detergent with dosage according to the manufacturers instructions.

CAUTION Note that the heated underblanket will suffer from too frequent washing. For its entire life, therefore, the heated underblanket should be washed not more than 5 times in a washing machine.

CAUTION Do not attach the heated underblanket to washing lines with washing pegs or the like. Otherwise the heated underblanket may be damaged. 6. Storage When not in use we recommend to store the heated underblanket in its original packaging. For this purpose, disconnect the controller from the heated underblanket by unplugging the plug-in coupling.

7. Disposal For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device in the household waste at the end of its useful life. Dispose of the unit at a suitable local collection or recycling point. Ce chauffe-matelas peut tre utilis par les enfants de plus de 8 ans ainsi que par les dficients physiques, sensoriels ou mentaux et les personnes ayant peu de connaissances ou dexprience la con- dition quils soient surveills ou sachent comment lutiliser en toute scurit et en comprennent les risques.

Les enfants ne doivent pas jouer avec le chauffe-matelas. Le nettoyage et lentretien ne doivent pas tre effectus par des

enfants sans surveillance. Ce chauffe-matelas nest pas conu pour une utilisation en milieu

hospitalier. Nenfoncez pas daiguilles ! Nutilisez pas le chauffe-matelas pli ou froiss. Nutilisez pas le chauffe-matelas mouill. Avant toute utilisation sur un lit rglable, vrifiez que le chauffe-

matelas et les cbles ne sont pas, par exemple, pincs dans les charnires ou coincs.

Vous ne devez utiliser ce chauffe-matelas quen association avec linterrupteur mentionn sur ltiquette.

Les champs lectriques et magntiques manant de ce chauffe- matelas lectrique peuvent ventuellement perturber le fonctionne- ment des stimulateurs cardiaques. Ils sont pourtant bien infrieurs aux limites : puissance des champs lectriques : 5 000 V/m max., puis- sance des champs magntiques : 80 A/m max., induction magntique : 0,1 mT max. Veuillez donc consulter votre mdecin et le fabricant de votre stimulateur cardiaque avant dutiliser ce chauffe-matelas.

Ne tirez, tordez ou ne pliez pas trop fortement les cbles. Ce chauffe-matelas doit tre rgulirement vrifi pour dtecter

la prsence de tout signe dusure ou dendommagement. Le cas chant, ou si ce chauffe-matelas a t utilis de faon inapproprie ou sil ne chauffe plus, il doit tre vrifi par le fabricant avant dtre utilis nouveau.

Si le cble dalimentation lectrique de lappareil est endommag, il doit tre mis au rebut. Sil nest pas dtachable, lappareil doit tre mis au rebut.

Pendant que ce chauffe-matelas fonctionne, vous ne devez pas poser dobjets dessus (par ex. valise ou corbeille linge), poser de sources de chaleur dessus, comme des bouillottes, des

coussins chauffants ou autres. Les composants lectroniques de linterrupteur chauffent lors de

lutilisation du chauffe-matelas. Vous ne devez donc pas couvrir linterrupteur ou le poser sur le chauffe-matelas lorsque ce dernier est utilis.

3. Utilisation conforme aux recommandations

ATTENTION Ce chauffe-matelas est exclusivement conu pour rchauffer les lits.

4. Utilisation 4.1 Scurit

ATTENTION Le chauffe-matelas est quip dun SYSTME DE SCURIT. Cette technologie de capteur empche la surchauffe du chauffe-matelas sur toute sa surface grce larrt automatique en cas de dfaillance. Lorsque le SYSTME DE SCURIT a dsactiv le chauffe-matelas, les niveaux de temprature qui montrent quil est allum ne sont plus clairs.

Veuillez noter quaprs une dfaillance due la scurit, vous ne pouvez plus utiliser le chauffe-matelas et devez lenvoyer au service aprs-vente indiqu.

Ne branchez jamais le chauffe-matelas dfectueux un autre interrupteur du mme type. Cela entra- nerait galement un arrt dfinitif dclench par le systme de scurit de linterrupteur.

4.2 Mise en service Placez le chauffe-matelas bien plat sur votre matelas de sorte que larrive de la ligne se situe peu prs au niveau des paules (voir illustration). La partie se trouvant au niveau de la tte nest pas chauffe. Ensuite, tirez la partie latrale comme un drap housse sur les cts de votre matelas. Le chauffe-matelas est conu de sorte tre adapt tant aux matelas de 90x200 cm que de 100x200 cm. Ensuite, fixez votre drap housse comme dhabitude de sorte que le chauffe-matelas se situe entre votre matelas et le drap housse.

ATTENTION Assurez-vous que le chauffe-matelas soit tout fait plat et, lors de son utilisation, quil nest pas froiss et quaucun pli ne sest form.

Branchez dabord linterrupteur au corps chauffant en connectant la fiche secteur. Branchez la prise au secteur.

4.3 Mise sous tension Rglez le commutateur MARCHE/ARRT et des niveaux de temprature sur le 1, 2 ou 3 pour allumer le chauffe-matelas. Lorsquil est allum, les niveaux de temprature sclairent.

AVERTISSEMENT Lorsque vous utilisez le chauffe-matelas pendant plusieurs heures, il est recommand de rgler linterrupteur sur le niveau de temprature le plus bas pour viter la surchauffe.

REMARQUE : Le chauffe-matelas se rchauffe plus rapidement lorsque vous rglez le niveau de temprature au

plus haut. Nous vous recommandons dallumer le chauffe-matelas env. 30 minutes avant de vous coucher et

de le recouvrir avec le couvre-lit afin dviter une perte de chaleur.

4.5 Arrt automatique Ce chauffe-matelas se dsactive automatiquement au bout de 3 heures environ. Pendant la phase de chauf- fage du chauffe-matelas, le tmoin rouge est allum sur linterrupteur. La dure pour larrt automatique tant coule, le chauffage du chauffe-matelas est larrt et le tmoin rouge se met clignoter. Pour remettre le chauffe-matelas en marche, slectionnez dabord la position 0 (arrt) et aprs 5 secondes environ, rglez la temprature voulue. Quand le chauffematelas nest plus utilis aprs la dure slectionne pour larrt automatique, il doit tre teint (position 0 ) ou la fiche doit tre retire de la prise de courant.

4.6 Mise hors tension Placez le commutateur MARCHE/ARRT et des niveaux de temprature sur la position ARRT ( 0 ) pour teindre le chauffe-matelas.

REMARQUE : Si vous ne souhaitez pas utiliser le chauffe-matelas pendant quelques jours, placez le commutateur MARCHE/ARRT et des niveaux de temprature sur la position ARRT ( 0 ) et dbranchez le cble dalimentation de la prise secteur.

5. Nettoyage et entretien

AVERTISSEMENT Pour commencer, dbranchez toujours le cble dalimentation de la prise avant de nettoyer lappareil. Dconnectez ensuite la fiche secteur et donc linterrupteur du chauffe-matelas (voir illustration).

ATTENTION Linterrupteur ne doit jamais entrer en contact avec de leau ou dautres liquides. Il peut tre endommag.

Pour le nettoyage de linterrupteur, utilisez un chiffon sec non pelucheux. Nutilisez pas de produit abrasif ou autre dtergent. Vous pouvez nettoyer les petites tches du chauffe-matelas laide dun chiffon humide et un peu de lessive liquide pour linge dlicat.

ATTENTION Le chauffe-matelas ne doit pas tre nettoy avec des produits chimiques, essor, sch en machine,

cylindr ou repass. Le chauffe-matelas est lavable en machine. Rglez la machine sur un cycle trs doux 30 C (cycle laine). Utilisez une lessive pour linge dlicat et dosez-la selon les instructions du fabricant.

ATTENTION Veuillez noter quune exposition trop frquente du chauffe-matelas leau nest pas recommande.

Par consquent, vous ne devez laver le chauffe-matelas la machine quau maximum 5 fois pendant sa dure de vie.

tirez le chauffe-matelas encore humide juste aprs le lavage pour quil retrouve sa taille dorigine et laissez- le scher plat sur un tendage.

ATTENTION Nutilisez pas de pinces linge ou autres pour accrocher le chauffe-matelas sur ltendage. Sinon,

il pourrait tre endommag. Ne reconnectez linterrupteur au chauffe-matelas quune fois que celui-ci et la fiche secteur sont compltement secs. Sinon, il pourrait tre endommag.

AVERTISSEMENT Ne mettez en aucun cas le chauffe-matelas en marche lors du schage ! Sinon, vous vous exposez un risque de choc lectrique.

6. Rangement Si vous nutilisez pas le chauffe-matelas pendant une priode prolonge, nous vous recommandons de le ranger dans son emballage dorigine. Pour cela, dconnectez la fiche secteur et donc linterrupteur du chauffe-matelas.

ATTENTION Laissez dabord le chauffe-matelas refroidir. Sinon, il pourrait tre en- dommag. Ne posez pas dobjet sur le chauffe-matelas lors de son stockage pour viter quil ne se plie trop fortement.

7. limination Dans lintrt de la protection de lenvironnement, lappareil ne doit pas tre jet avec les ordures mnagres la fin de sa dure de service. Llimination doit se faire par le biais des points de collecte comptents dans votre pays. Los componentes electrnicos del interruptor se calientan durante el uso del calientacamas, por lo que el interruptor no deber estar cu- bierto o estar encima del calientacamas elctrico en funcionamiento.

3. Uso correcto del aparato

ATENCIN Este calientacamas elctrico solo est destinado a calentar camas.

4. Utilizacin 4.1 Seguridad

ATENCIN El calientacamas elctrico dispone de un SISTEMA DE SEGURIDAD. Esta tecnologa de sensores impide un sobrecalentamiento del calientacamas en toda su superficie gracias a la desconexin au- tomtica en caso de error. Si el SISTEMA DE SEGURIDAD ha desconectado el calientacamas elctrico, los niveles de temperatura dejarn de iluminarse en el estado conectado.

Tenga en cuenta que tras un caso de error el calientacamas elctrico ya no podr utilizarse por razones de seguridad y que deber ser enviado a la direccin del servicio de atencin al cliente especificada.

No conecte en ningn caso el calientacamas elctrico averiado con otros interruptores del mismo tipo. Esto tambin supondra una desconexin final del interruptor a travs del sistema de seguridad.

4.2 Funcionamiento Coloque la colchoneta elctrica desplegndola completamente sobre el colchn de manera que la entrada del cable quede ms o menos a la altura del hombro (vase la ilustracin). La regin de la cabeza no est calefaccionada. A continuacin poner las partes laterales de la colchoneta encima de los lados del colchn, como una sbana ajustable. La colchoneta elctrica est diseada de modo tal puede usarse tanto con colchones de un tamao de 90x200 cm como tambin de 100x200 cm. Luego fije su sbana ajustable como de costumbre, de manera que la colchoneta elctrica se encuentre entre su colchn y la sbana ajustable.

ATENCIN Asegrese de que el calientacamas est completamente extendido y de que no se doble ni se puedan formar arrugas durante el uso.

Conecte primero el interruptor con el elemento trmico en el que se une el acoplamiento enchufable. A continuacin, conecte el enchufe.

4.3 Encender Coloque el deslizador para encender y apagar y los niveles de temperatura en el nivel 1, 2 o 3 para encender el calientacamas elctrico. En el estado encendido los niveles de temperatura se iluminan.

temperatura posible. Recomendamos encarecidamente encender el calientacamas elctrico aprox. 30 minutos antes de

irse a la cama y cubrilo con la colcha para que no se pierda el calor.

4.5 Desconexin automtica Esta colchoneta elctrica se desconecta automticamente despus de unas 3 horas. Mientras la colcho- neta se calienta permanece encendida la luz piloto roja en el interruptor. Una vez transcurrido el tiempo de desconexin, se apaga la colchoneta y la luz piloto roja comienza a parpadear. Para volver a calentar la colchoneta elctrica, coloque el interruptor durante unos 5 segundos en la posicin 0 (desconectado) y luego seleccione el escaln de temperatura deseado. Si la colchoneta elctrica no se continuar usando despus de apagarla, es aconsejable desconectarla (escaln 0) o bien desenchufar el cable de la caja de toma de red.

4.6 Apagar Coloque el deslizador para encender y apagar y los niveles de temperatura en la posicin OFF (0) para apagar el calientacamas elctrico.

INDICACIN Si no va a utilizar el calientacamas elctrico durante varios das, coloque el deslizador para encender y apagar y los niveles de temperatura en la posicin OFF ( 0 ) y saque el enchufe de la toma de corriente.

5. Limpieza y cuidado

ADVERTENCIA Desenchufe siempre el calientacamas elctrico antes de limpiarlo. Retire a con-

tinuacin el acoplamiento enchufable y consiguientemente el interruptor del ca- lientacamas elctrico (vase la figura).

ATENCIN El interruptor no debe entrar nunca en contacto con agua o con otros lquidos,

ya que podra daarse. Para limpiar el interruptor, utilice nicamente un pao seco y sin pelusas. No emplee ningn producto de limpieza qumico ni abrasivo. Las pequeas manchas del calientacamas pueden eliminarse con un pao hmedo y en su caso un poco de detergente lquido suave.

ATENCIN Tenga en cuenta que el calientacamas no se debe limpiar en seco, retorcer, secar en secadora, calandrar o planchar.

Este calientacamas elctrico se puede lavar a mquina. Ponga la lavadora en un programa de lavado muy suave a 30 C (programa para lana). Utilice un detergente suave y dosifquelo segn las indicaciones del fabricante.

ATENCIN Tenga en cuenta que, si se lava con demasiada frecuencia, el calientacamas elctrico se desgasta. Por eso, a lo largo de su vida til, se debera lavar a mquina un mximo de 5 veces.

Estire bien el calientacamas an hmedo nada ms lavarlo y djelo bien extendido en un tendedero hasta que se seque.

ATENCIN No utilice pinzas ni similares para sujetarlo en el tendedero, ya que podran daarlo. Conecte de nuevo el interruptor al calientacamas elctrico solo cuando el acoplamiento enchufable y el calientacamas estn completamente secos, ya que si no podra resultar daado.

ADVERTENCIA No encienda en ningn caso el calientacamas para secarlo! Si lo hace, existir el peligro de una descarga elctrica.

6. Conservacin Si no va a utilizar el calientacamas durante un periodo de tiempo prolongado, le recomendamos guardarlo en su embalaje original. Retire para ello el acoplamiento enchufable y por tanto el interruptor del calienta- camas elctrico.

ATENCIN Deje primero que el calientacamas se enfre. De lo contrario podra re- sultar daado. No coloque objetos sobre el calientacamas elctrico mientras lo tenga guardado para evitar que se estropee.

7. Eliminacin A fin de preservar el medio ambiente, cuando el aparato cumpla su vida til no lo tire con la basura domstica. Se puede desechar en los puntos de recogida adecuados disponibles en su zona. De- seche el aparato segn la Directiva europea sobre residuos de aparatos elctricos y electrnicos (RAEE). Para ms informacin, pngase en contacto con la autoridad municipal competente en materia de eliminacin de residuos.

Questo coprimaterasso termico pu essere utilizzato da ragazzi di et superiore a 8 anni e da persone con ridotte capacit fisiche, percettive o mentali, o non in possesso della necessaria esperienza e conoscen- za, esclusivamente sotto supervisione oppure se sono stati istruiti in merito alle misure di sicurezza e comprendono i rischi ad esse correlati.

I bambini non devono giocare con il coprimaterasso termico. La pulizia e la manutenzione a cura dellutente non devono essere

eseguite da bambini, a meno che non siano sorvegliati. Questo coprimaterasso termico non concepito per lutilizzo in ospe-

dale. Non infilare oggetti appuntiti. Non utilizzare piegato o arricciato. Non utilizzare se bagnato. Prima delluso su un letto regolabile, verificare che il coprimaterasso

termico e i fili non si impiglino ad esempio in cerniere e non si arriccino. Questo coprimaterasso termico pu essere utilizzato solo in combina-

zione con linterruttore riportato sulletichetta. I campi elettrico e magnetico emessi dal coprimaterasso termico pos-

sono disturbare il funzionamento di pacemaker. Sono tuttavia molto al di sotto dei valori limite: intensit di campo elettrico: max. 5000 V/m, intensit di campo magnetico: max. 80 A/m, densit di flusso magne- tica: max. 0,1 Milli-Tesla. Prima di utilizzare il coprimaterasso termico, consultare quindi il medico e il produttore del pacemaker.

Non tirare o torcere i fili o piegarli eccessivamente. In tal senso spesso necessario verificare la presenza di eventuali

segni di usura o danni al coprimaterasso termico. In presenza di segni di un utilizzo non corretto del coprimaterasso termico o se non scalda pi, farlo controllare dal produttore prima di riaccenderlo.

Se il cavo di alimentazione dellapparecchio danneggiato, ne- cessario smaltirlo. Nel caso non sia rimovibile, necessario smaltire lapparecchio.

Quando il coprimaterasso termico in funzione, non appoggiarvi - alcun oggetto (ad es. valigia o cesto della biancheria), - alcuna fonte di calore come boule dellacqua calda, termoforo o simili. I componenti elettronici nellinterruttore si riscaldano durante lutilizzo

del coprimaterasso termico. Non coprire quindi linterruttore e non lasciarlo sul coprimaterasso termico quando in funzione.

3. Uso conforme

ATTENZIONE Questo coprimaterasso termico concepito unicamente per riscaldare letti.

4. Funzionamento 4.1 Sicurezza

ATTENZIONE Il coprimaterasso termico dotato di un SISTEMA DI SICUREZZA, i cui sensori impediscono un sur- riscaldamento sullintera superficie del coprimaterasso termico mediante arresto automatico in caso di guasto. Quando il SISTEMA DI SICUREZZA disattiva il coprimaterasso termico, i livelli di temperatura nello stato di funzionamento acceso non vengono pi illuminati.

In caso di guasto non pi possibile utilizzare il coprimaterasso termico per motivi di sicurezza. Il prodotto deve essere inviato allindirizzo del Servizio clienti specificato.

Non collegare mai un coprimaterasso termico difettoso a un altro interruttore dello stesso tipo. Ci comporterebbe uno spegnimento finale da parte del sistema di sicurezza nellinterruttore.

4.2 Messa in funzione Tendere quindi la sottocoperta termica sul materasso in modo che lingresso del cavo alimentatore si trovi circa allaltezza della spalla (vedere illustrazione). La zona della testa non riscaldata. Tendere la parte laterale come un lenzuolo elasticizzato sui lati del materasso. La sottocoperta concepita in modo che possa essere applicata su materassi di 90x200 cm e 100x200 cm. Fissare quindi il lenzuolo inferiore elasticizzato come di consueto in modo che la sottocoperta termica si trovi fra materasso e lenzuolo inferiore.

ATTENZIONE Accertarsi che il coprimaterasso termico sia ben disteso e che, durante luso, non si formino arric- ciature o pieghe.

Innanzitutto collegare linterruttore allelemento riscaldante inserendo linnesto rapido. A questo punto inserire la spina nella presa di corrente.

4.3 Accensione Impostare il regolatore per accensione/spegnimento e livelli di temperatura sul livello 1, 2 o 3 per accendere il coprimaterasso termico. Una volta acceso, i livelli di temperatura vengono illuminati.

4.4 Impostazione della temperatura Livello 0: OFF Livello 1: riscaldamento minimo Livello 2: riscaldamento medio Livello 3: riscaldamento massimo

AVVERTENZA Se il coprimaterasso termico viene utilizzato per diverse ore, si consiglia di impostare il livello di temperatura pi basso per evitare il surriscalda- mento.

NOTA: Per fare in modo che il coprimaterasso termico si riscaldi il pi rapidamente possibile, impostare innanzitutto il livello di temperatura pi elevato. Si consiglia di accendere il coprimaterasso termico ca. 30 minuti prima di andare a dormire e di

coprirlo con il piumino per evitare la dispersione del calore. 4.5 Dispositivo di arresto automatico Questa sottocoperta termica si spegne automaticamente dopo circa 3 ore. Durante il riscaldamento della sottocoperta termica accesa la lampada spia nellinterruttore. Al termine del tempo di funzionamento, la sottocoperta termica non viene pi riscaldata e la lampada spia rossa inizia a lampeggiare. Per riscaldare nuovamente la sottocoperta termica mettere linterruttore per circa 5 secondi in posizione 0 (spento) e se- lezionare quindi il livello di temperatura desiderato. Se la sottocoperta termica non viene pi utilizzata dopo il disinserimento impostato, spegnerla (livello 0) o sconnettere la spina dalla presa.

4.6 Spegnimento Per spegnere il coprimaterasso termico, posizionare il regolatore per accensione e spegnimento e livelli di temperatura su OFF (0).

NOTA: Se non si utilizza il coprimaterasso termico per alcuni giorni, impostare il regolatore per accensione/ spegnimento e livelli di temperatura sulla posizione OFF ( 0 ) ed estrarre la spina dalla presa di corrente.

5. Pulizia e cura

AVVERTENZA Prima di procedere alla pulizia, estrarre sempre la spina dalla presa di corrente. Scollegare poi linnesto rapido e quindi linterruttore del coprimaterasso termico (vedi illustrazione).

ATTENZIONE Linterruttore non deve mai entrare in contatto con acqua o altri liquidi. Potrebbe subire danni.

Per la pulizia dellinterruttore, utilizzare un panno asciutto non sfilacciato. Non utilizzare detergenti chimici o prodotti abrasivi. Piccole macchie sul coprimaterasso termico possono essere eliminate con un panno inumidito ed eventual- mente con un detergente liquido per capi delicati.

ATTENZIONE Il coprimaterasso termico non pu essere lavato a secco, strizzato, asciugato in asciugatrice, man-

ganato o stirato. Questo coprimaterasso termico pu essere lavato in lavatrice. Impostare un programma di lavaggio particolarmente delicato a 30C (programma per la lana). Utilizzare un detergente per capi delicati e dosarlo secondo le indicazioni del produttore.

ATTENZIONE Il coprimaterasso termico pu essere danneggiato da lavaggi troppo frequenti. Lungo tutto il suo ciclo di vita, il coprimaterasso termico dovrebbe essere lavato al massimo 5 volte in lavatrice.

Subito dopo il lavaggio, rimettere in forma il coprimaterasso termico ancora umido, riportandolo alle dimen- sioni originali, e lasciarlo asciugare ben disteso su uno stendibiancheria.

ATTENZIONE Non utilizzare mollette o simili per fissare il coprimaterasso termico allo stendibiancheria, in quanto il coprimaterasso termico potrebbe danneggiarsi. Ricollegare linterruttore al coprimaterasso termico solo quando linnesto rapido e il coprimaterasso

termico sono completamente asciutti. In caso contrario, il coprimaterasso termico potrebbe dan- neggiarsi.

AVVERTENZA Non accendere il coprimaterasso termico per farlo asciugare! In caso contrario, sussiste il pericolo di scossa elettrica.

6. Conservazione Se il coprimaterasso termico non viene usato per lunghi periodi, si consiglia di conservarlo nellimballo origi- nale. A tale scopo, scollegare linnesto rapido e quindi linterruttore del coprimaterasso termico.

ATTENZIONE Lasciare raffreddare il coprimaterasso termico prima di riporlo, in quanto potrebbe danneggiarsi. Quando non viene utilizzato, conservare il coprimaterasso termico senza appoggiarvi sopra alcun oggetto per evitare che venga piegato e schi- acciato.

7. Smaltimento Per motivi ecologici, lapparecchio non deve essere smaltito tra i normali rifiuti quando viene buttato via. Lo smaltimento deve essere effettuato negli appositi centri di raccolta. Smaltire lapparecchio secondo la direttiva europea sui rifiuti di apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche (RAEE). Per eventuali chiarimenti, rivolgersi alle autorit comunali competenti per lo smaltimento.

10. Garanzia / Assistenza Per rivendicazioni nellambito della garanzia, rivolgersi al rivenditore locale o alla sede locale (vedere lelenco Service international). Allegare al reso dellapparecchio una copia della prova dacquisto e una breve descrizione del difetto.

Si applicano le seguenti condizioni di garanzia: 1. La garanzia dei prodotti BEURER dura 5 anni oppure, se pi lunga, fa fede la durata di garanzia valida

dalla data di acquisto di ciascun paese. In caso di rivendicazioni, la data di acquisto deve essere dimostrata tramite una prova dacquisto o una

fattura. 2. La durata della garanzia non viene prolungata da riparazioni (dellintero apparecchio o di parti di esso).
