3. Warn- und Sicherheitshinweise Hinweise zum Eco Modus Der Eco+-Modus ermglicht die Strahlung zwischen Baby- und Eltern einheit zu minimieren whrend Ihr Baby ruhig ist. Dies dient zur Sicherheit Ihres Babys, da es keiner unntigen Strahlung ausgesetzt wird. Das Gert schaltet sich selbststndig in den Eco+-Modus, sobald keine bertragung von Geru- schen stattfindet.

Sicherheitshinweise

Warnung: Platzieren Sie das Gert und die Zuleitung nie in Reichweite des

Kindes. Durch die Zuleitung kann es zur Strangulation und Verlet- zungen des Kindes kommen.

Halten Sie Kleinteile auerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern (Ver- schluckgefahr).

Halten Sie Kinder vom Verpackungsmaterial fern (Erstickungs gefahr). Stellen Sie die Babyeinheit niemals in das Kinderbett oder in Reich-

weite Ihres Kindes.

Platzieren Sie die Babyeinheit in einer Entfernung von 1,5 m zu Ihrem Baby, um eine mgliche Elektrosmog-Belastung und eine Geruschstrung zu minimieren.

Achten Sie darauf, dass Kabel nicht in Reichweite Ihres Kindes sind (Stromschlaggefahr).

Achtung: Um Schden am Gert zu vermeiden, beachten Sie: Tauchen Sie die Gerte niemals in Wasser. Splen Sie sie niemals

unter flieendem Wasser ab. Benutzen Sie die Gerte niemals in feuchter Umgebung. Ziehen Sie das Steckernetzteil nicht am Kabel aus der Steckdose. Trennen Sie das Steckernetzteil vom Netz, wenn das Gert nicht

in Gebrauch ist. Das Gert und das Steckernetzteil drfen nicht mit heien Oberfl-

chen oder scharfkantigen Gegenstnden in Berhrung kommen. Verwenden Sie keine Zusatzteile, die nicht vom Hersteller empfoh-

len bzw. als Zubehr angeboten werden. Das Steckernetzteil darf nur mit der darauf notierten Netzspan-

nung betrieben werden. Das Gert darf nur mit dem mitgelieferten Steckernetzteil betrie-

ben werden. Nach jedem Gebrauch, vor jeder Reinigung und vor jedem Wech-

sel von Zubehrteilen ist stets das Steckernetzteil auszustecken.

Hinweise zum Umgang mit Batterien

Warnung: Batterien knnen bei Verschlucken lebensgefhrlich sein. Bewahren

Sie Batterien fr Kleinkinder unerreichbar auf. Wurde eine Batterie verschluckt, nehmen Sie sofort medizinische Hilfe in Anspruch.

Batterien drfen nicht geladen oder mit anderen Mitteln reaktiviert, nicht auseinandergenommen, in Feuer geworfen oder kurzge- schlossen werden.

Batterien knnen Giftstoffe enthalten, die die Gesundheit und die Umwelt schdigen. Entsorgen Sie die Batterien deshalb unbedingt entsprechend der geltenden gesetzlichen Bestimmungen. Werfen Sie die Batterien niemals in den normalen Hausmll.

Die Batterien drfen nicht starker Hitze wie Sonne, Feuer oder hnlichem ausgesetzt werden.

Achtung: Wechseln Sie schwcher werdende Batterien rechtzeitig aus. Auslaufende Batterien knnen Beschdigungen am Gert verur-

sachen. Wenn Sie das Gert lngere Zeit nicht benutzen, nehmen Sie die Batterien aus dem Batteriefach.

Wenn eine Batterie ausgelaufen ist, ziehen Sie Schutzhandschuhe an und reinigen Sie das Batteriefach mit einem trockenen Tuch.

Allgemeine Hinweise

Reparaturen drfen nur vom Kundendienst oder autorisierten Hnd- ler durchgefhrt werden. Sie selbst drfen das Gert keinesfalls ff- nen oder reparieren, da sonst eine einwandfreie Funktion nicht mehr gewhrleistet ist. Bei Nichtbeachten erlischt die Garan tie.

4. Bestimmungsgemer Gebrauch Verwenden Sie das Gert nur zum berwachen Ihres Babys, wenn Sie Ihr

Baby nicht direkt beaufsichtigen knnen. Es ist kein Ersatz fr Ihre persn- liche verantwortungsvolle Aufsicht!

Das Gert ist nur fr den Einsatz im huslichen/privaten Umfeld bestimmt, nicht im gewerblichen Bereich.

Dieses Gert ist nicht dafr bestimmt, durch Personen (einschlielich Kin- der) mit eingeschrnkten physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fhig- keiten oder mangels Erfahrung und/oder mangels Wissen benutzt zu werden, es sei denn, sie werden durch eine fr ihre Sicherheit zustndige Person beaufsichtigt oder erhielten von ihr Anweisungen, wie das Gert zu benutzen ist.

Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, damit sie nicht mit dem Gert spielen. Jeder unsachgeme Gebrauch kann gefhrlich sein.

6. Inbetriebnahme Babyeinheit Betrieb mit Netzteil Stellen Sie die Babyeinheit so auf, dass sie dabei an einer erhhten Position und nicht in der Nhe von anderen evtl. strenden Gerten steht. Schlieen Sie die Babyeinheit mit dem Steckernetzteil an eine Steckdose an. Das Gert geht automatisch an. Die Power-LED leuchtet grn. Zum Ausschalten des Gertes halten Sie die AN/AUS-Taste mindestens 2 Sekunden gedrckt oder ziehen Sie das Netzteil. Die Power-LED erlischt. Zum wiederholten Einschalten drcken Sie ebenso die AN/AUS-Taste fr ca. 2 Sekunden.

Elterneinheit Stellen Sie die Elterneinheit in dem Raum auf, in dem Sie sich aufhalten.

Betrieb mit Akku Ladevorgang

Um eine optimale Sicherheit zu gewhrleisten ist die Elterneinheit so konzipiert, dass sie nur mit eingelegten Akkus betrieben werden kann.

Der Akku muss vor erstmaliger netzunabhngiger Benutzung des Gertes mindestens 16 Stunden aufgeladen werden, whrenddessen knnen Sie das Gert bereits betreiben. Schalten Sie die Elterneinheit ein, indem Sie die Taste 2 Sekunden gedrckt halten Die Power-LED der Elterneinheit leuchtet grn. Das Gert ist aktiv. Bei niedrigem Akkuladezustand der Elterneinheit piept diese 2 Mal. Wird das Gert nicht an eine Steckdose angeschlossen, schaltet es sich automatisch nach kurzer Zeit aus. Die Power-LED erlischt. Betrieb mit Netzteil Schlieen Sie die Elterneinheit inkl. Akku mit dem Steckernetzteil an eine Steckdose an. Das Gert geht automatisch an. Die Power-LED leuchtet grn. Beim Ziehen des Steckernetzteils wechselt das Gert in den Akku-Betrieb. Hierbei ist die Stand-by-Zeit abhngig vom Ladezustand des Akkus. Zum Ausschalten des Gertes halten Sie die -Taste ca. 2 Sekunden ge- drckt, die Power-LED erlischt.

Besteht zwischen den Gerten keine Verbindung (Babyeinheit nicht eingeschaltet oder auerhalb der Reichweite), ertnt ein akustisches Warnsignal an der Elterneinheit.

7. Anwendung Einstellung der Lautstrke Sie knnen die Lautstrke an der Elterneinheit durch Drcken der Tasten oder in 5 Stufen einstellen.

Die Intensitt des Gerusches wird zustzlich durch die LED- Geruschpegelanzeige abgebildet, wodurch das Gert auch fr Schwerhrige oder Gehrlose verwendbar ist.

Wissenswertes rund ums Babyphone

Der Betrieb des Babyphones mit Batterie oder Akku minimiert Elektrosmog durch elektrische und magnetische Wechselfelder.

Sie knnen die Reichweite eines Babyphones erhhen, indem Sie die Baby- einheit in der Nhe einer Tr oder eines Fensters sowie mglichst weit oben platzieren und sicherstellen, dass die Batterien nicht zu schwach sind.

Andere Funkwellen knnen die bertragung des Babyphones evtl. stren. Stellen Sie das Babyphone deshalb nicht in der Nhe von Gerten, wie zum Beispiel Mikrowelle, WLAN etc., auf.

Folgende weitere Faktoren knnen die bertragung des Babyphones st- ren bzw. die Reichweite verkrzen: das Verdecken der Gerte, Mbel, Wnde, Huser, Bume, Umwelteinflsse (z. B. Nebel, Regen).

Batteriewechsel/Akku laden Falls die Batterien oder der Akku zu schwach sind, schalten sich die Gerte automatisch aus. Die Batterien mssen dann ausgetauscht bzw. der Akku neu geladen werden (siehe Inbetriebnahme).

Verwenden Sie bei jedem Batteriewechsel Batterien gleichen Typs, gleicher Marke und gleicher Kapazitt.

Wechseln Sie alle Batterien immer gleichzeitig. Verwenden Sie schwermetallfreie Batterien.

8. Reinigung und Pflege Die Lebensdauer der Gerte hngt vom sorgfltigen Umgang ab.

Achtung: Entfernen Sie die Batterien der Elterneinheit, wenn das Gert ln-

gere Zeit nicht im Gebrauch ist. Sie erhalten eine maximale Kapazitt des Akkus, wenn Sie den

Akku mindestens alle 6 Monate entladen. Trennen Sie dazu das Gert vom Netz und entleeren Sie den Akku durch normale Benut- zung. Laden Sie den Akku danach wieder vollstndig auf.

Die maximale Kapazitt des Akkus wird erst nach mehreren Lade- vorgngen erreicht und ist von mehreren Faktoren abhngig (Akku- zustand, Umgebungstemperatur, Art und Weise und Hufigkeit des Ladevorgangs usw.)

Schtzen Sie die Gerte vor Sten, Feuchtigkeit, Staub, Chemi- kalien, starken Temperaturschwankungen, elektromagnetischen Feldern und zu nahen Wrmequellen (fen, Heizungskrper).

Wischen Sie ein verschmutztes Gert mit einem weichen, trocke- nen Tuch ab.

Reinigen Sie die Gerte mit einem trockenen Tuch. Verwenden Sie keine scheuernden Reinigungsmittel.

9. Was tun bei Problemen? Fehler Manahmen Power-LED leuch- tet nicht nach dem Einschalten.

Prfen Sie, ob das jeweilige Steckernetzteil richtig eingesteckt ist, die Batterien voll sind bzw. der Akku geladen wer-

den muss oder beschdigt ist (Elterneinheit). An der Elterneinheit ertnt ein akusti- sches Signal.

Prfen Sie, ob die maximale Reichweite berschritten ist, das Steckernetzteil der Babyeinheit richtig einge-

steckt ist, die Babyeinheit eingeschaltet ist, die Batterien voll sind bzw. der Akku geladen wer-

den muss oder beschdigt ist (Elterneinheit). Signal ist schwach, die Verbindung bricht immer wieder ab oder Strungen treten auf.

Befindet sich ein anderes technisches Gert wie zum Beispiel eine Mikrowelle im Pfad zwischen der Baby- und der Elterneinheit, entfernen Sie das Ge- rt oder schalten Sie es aus.

Prfen Sie, ob andere Faktoren wie zum Beispiel Bume o. . im Pfad zwischen den Gerten liegen, und platzieren Sie Ihre Gerte entsprechend um, bis die Elterneinheit eine Verbindung signalisiert.

Prfen Sie, ob sich Baby- und Elterneinheit inner- halb des jeweiligen Empfangsbereichs befinden.

An der Elterneinheit ertnt kein akusti- sches Signal.

Passen Sie die Lautstrke an der Eltern einheit an.

Ein Gert schaltet sich aus.

Tauschen Sie die Batterien aus bzw. laden Sie den Akku neu (Elterneinheit).

10. Entsorgen Im Interesse des Umweltschutzes drfen die Gerte am Ende ihrer Lebens- dauer nicht mit dem Hausmll entfernt werden. Die Entsorgung kann ber entsprechende Sammelstellen in Ihrem Land erfolgen. Befolgen Sie die rtlichen Vorschriften bei der Entsorgung der Materialien.

Bitte entsorgen Sie das Gert gem der Elektro- und Elektronik Altgerte EG-Richtlinie WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). Bei Rckfragen wenden Sie sich bitte an die fr die Entsorgung zustndige kommunale Behrde.

3. Warnings and safety notes Notes for the ECO mode With Eco+ mode you can minimise the radiation between the baby and parent units when the baby is quiet. This ensures the safety of your baby as there is no exposure to any unnecessary radiation. The device automatically switches to Eco+ mode, as soon as no noise is being transmitted.

Warning: Always position the device and power cord out of the reach of

children. The power cord could result in strangulation or cause in- jury to children.

Keep small parts out of the reach of children (risk of swallowing). Keep packaging material away from children (risk of suffocation). Never place the baby unit in the cot or within the reach of your child. Place the baby unit 1.5 m away from your baby, in order to mini-

Always make sure that the devices are fully functioning before use and check that the devices have sufficiently charged batteries when on battery operation.

Only use the power supply units included with the delivery (risk of fire and electric shock).

Important: To avoid damage to the device, please observe the following: Never submerge the devices in water. Never rinse it in running water. Never use the devices in a damp environment. Do not use the cable to pull the adapter plug out of the socket. Disconnect the adapter plug from the mains when the device is

not in use. The device and the power supply unit should not come into con-

tact with hot surfaces or sharp-edged objects. Do not use any additional parts that are not recommended by the

manufacturer or offered as equipment. The plug-in power unit must be operated only from a power sup-

ply as specified on it. The appliance should only be operated with the power unit provided. After use, before cleaning and changing any accessory parts, the

power unit should always be disconnected.

Notes on handling batteries

Warning: Swallowing batteries can be extremely dangerous. Keep batteries

out of the reach of small children. Should a battery be swallowed, seek medical assistance immediately.

Batteries must not be recharged, taken apart, thrown into an open fire or short circuited.

6. Initial use Baby unit Operation with mains part Position the baby unit so that it is in an elevated position and is not in proxi- mity to any other devices that may cause interference. Using the mains part plug, connect the baby unit to a socket. The device automatically switches on. The power LED will light up green. To switch the device off press the ON/OFF button for at least 2 seconds or unplug the mains part. The power LED will go out. To switch the device on again press the ON/OFF button for approx. 2 seconds.

Parent unit Set up the parent unit in the room where you are going to be.

Battery operation charging

To ensure optimal safety, the parent unit is designed so that it can only be operated with batteries inserted.

The battery must be charged for at least 16 hours before the device can be first used independently of the mains; you may use the device during this period. Switch the parent unit on by pressing the button for 2 seconds. The power LED of the parent unit will light up green. The device is active. If the parent unit battery is low the unit will beep twice. If the device is not connected to a socket, it will switch off automatically after a short period. The power LED will go out.

Operation with mains part Using the mains part plug, connect the parent unit incl. battery to a socket. The device automatically switches on. The power LED will light up green. If the mains part plug is unplugged the device will switch to battery operation. The standby time will depend on the battery charge status. To switch the de- vice off press the button for approx. 2 seconds, the power LED will go out.

If there is no connection between the devices (baby unit not switched on or out of range), an acoustic warning will sound on the parent unit.

7. Use Adjusting the volume You can adjust the volume in 5 levels on the parent unit by pressing the or button.

The sound intensity is also pictured using an LED noise level light display so that the device can also be used by those with a hearing impairment.

Useful information about the baby monitor

Battery operation of the baby monitor minimizes electrosmog from electri- cal and magnetic alternating fields.

You can increase the range of the baby monitor by positioning the baby unit as high up as possible near a door or window and ensuring that the batteries are not too weak.

Other radio waves may interfere with the transmission of the baby moni- tor. Therefore, do not position the baby monitor near devices such as mi- crowaves, WLAN, etc.

The following other factors can interfere with the baby monitors transmis- sion or shorten its range: covering the units, furniture, walls, houses, trees, environmental factors (such as fog, rain).

Replacing/charging the batteries

If the batteries are too flat, then the units will switch off automatically. The batteries must then be replaced or recharged (see Initial use).

When changing the batteries, use batteries of the same type, make and capacity.

Always replace all batteries at the same time. Use batteries free from heavy metals.

8. Cleaning and maintenance The service life of the devices depends on careful use.

Important: Remove the batteries from the parent unit if the unit is not in use

for an extended period. You will get the maximum capacity from your battery if you run

down the battery at least once every 6 months. To do this, discon- nect the device from the mains and run the battery down through normal use. Then fully charge the battery up again.

The maximum battery capacity can only be reached after it has been charged several times and is dependent on many factors (battery state, ambient temperature, means and frequency of charging, etc.).

Protect the devices from knocks, damp, dust, chemicals, drastic changes in temperature, electromagnetic fields and nearby sourc- es of heat (ovens, heaters).

If dirty, wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Clean the device with a dry cloth. Do not use any abrasive clean-

ing products.

If another technical device such as a microwave is in the area between the parent and baby units, remove the device or switch it off. Check whether other factors, such as trees etc. are in the path of the two devices, and change the position of the devices until the parent unit signals a connection. Check whether the baby and parent units are inside the respective receiving range.

Adjust the volume on the parent unit.

A device switches itself off.

6. Mise en service Unit bb Utilisation avec ladaptateur secteur Placez lunit bb de manire ce quelle se trouve dans une position sur- leve et pas proximit dautres appareils pouvant la perturber. Connectez lunit bb une prise avec ladaptateur secteur. Lappareil sallume automatiquement. La LED dalimentation sallume en vert. Pour teindre lappareil, maintenez la touche MARCHE/ARRT enfonce au moins 2 secondes ou tirez sur ladaptateur secteur. La LED dalimentation steint. Utilisation avec batterie Processus de charge

Afin de garantir une scurit optimale, lunit parents est conue de manire ne pouvoir tre utilise que lorsque la batterie est insre.

Avant la premire utilisation hors secteur de lappareil, la batterie doit tre charge au moins 16 heures. Vous pouvez dj utiliser lappareil pendant ce temps. Allumez lunit parent en enfonant la touche pendant 2 secondes. La LED dalimentation de lunit parent sallume en vert. Lappareil est actif. Si le niveau de charge de la batterie est faible, lunit parent met 2 bips. Si les appareils ne sont pas connects une prise, ils steignent automatique- ment aprs une courte priode. La LED dalimentation steint.

Utilisation avec ladaptateur secteur Connectez lunit parent avec batterie une prise avec ladaptateur secteur. Lappareil sallume automatiquement. La LED dalimentation sallume en vert. Lorsque vous retirez ladaptateur secteur, lappareil passe au fonction- nement sur pile. Dans ce cas, le temps de fonctionnement dpend de la charge de la batterie. Pour teindre lappareil, maintenez la touche enfonce environ 2 secon- des, la LED dalimentation steint.

Si la connexion entre les appareils est inexistante (unit bb non allume ou hors de porte), un signal sonore retentit sur lunit parent.

7. Utilisation Rglage du volume Vous pouvez rgler le volume sur lunit parent sur 5 niveaux en appuyant sur les touches ou .

Lintensit du bruit est galement reprsente par laffichage LED du niveau sonore, ce qui permet aux personnes sourdes ou malenten- dantes dutiliser galement cet appareil.

Tout ce quil faut savoir propos du babyphone

Le fonctionnement du babyphone avec des piles ou batteries rduit la pollution lectromagntique par des champs alternatifs lectriques et magntiques.

Vous pouvez augmenter la porte dun babyphone en plaant lunit bb proximit dune porte ou dune fentre et aussi haut que possible ainsi quen vous assurant que les piles ne sont pas trop faibles.

Dautres ondes radio peuvent ventuellement perturber la transmission du babyphone. Ne placez donc pas le babyphone proximit dappareils tels quun micro-ondes, un rseau sans fil, etc.

Les autres facteurs suivants peuvent perturber la transmission du baby- phone ou rduire la porte : couverture de lappareil, meubles, murs, mai- sons, arbres, influences environnementales (par ex. brouillard, pluie).

Changer les piles/charger la batterie

Si les piles ou la batterie sont trop faibles, les appareils steignent automa- tiquement. Les piles doivent alors tre remplaces ou la batterie recharge (voir Mise en service).

Lors de chaque changement de piles, utilisez des piles de mme type, marque et capacit.

Changez toujours toutes les piles en mme temps. Utilisez des piles sans mtaux lourds.

8. Nettoyage et entretien La dure de vie des appareils dpend du soin que vous en prenez .

Attention : Retirez les piles de lunit parent si lappareil nest pas utilis pen-

dant une priode prolonge. Vous obtenez une capacit maximale des batteries lorsque vous

les dchargez au moins une fois tous les 6 mois. Pour cela, d- connectez lappareil de lalimentation lectrique et videz la batterie avec une utilisation normale. Ensuite, rechargez compltement la batterie.

3. Indicaciones de advertencia y de seguridad Indicaciones sobre el modo Eco El modo Eco + permite minimizar la radiacin entre la unidad para bebs y la unidad para padres cuando el beb est tranquilo. Esto contribuye a la seguridad de su beb, ya que no queda expuesto a ninguna radiacin inne- cesaria. El aparato cambia automticamente al modo Eco + tan pronto como se deja de transmitir sonido.

Indicaciones para el manejo de pilas

Funcionamiento con batera/proceso de carga

Para garantizar la seguridad, la unidad para padres est diseada de tal modo que solo funciona cuando la batera est colocada.

La batera debe cargarse durante al menos 16 horas antes de utilizar el apara- to sin conexin a la red elctrica, pero, entretanto, puede usar el aparato. Encienda la unidad para padres manteniendo pulsada la tecla 2 se- gundos. El LED de encendido de la unidad para padres se ilumina en verde. El aparato est activo. Si el estado de carga de la batera de la unidad para padres es bajo, pitar 2 veces. Si el aparato no est conectado a una toma de corriente, se descon- ecta automticamente tras un breve periodo. El LED de encendido se apaga. Funcionamiento con cable Conecte a una toma de corriente la unidad para padres incl. la batera con la fuente de alimentacin. El aparato se enciende automticamente. El LED de encendido se ilumina en verde. Al desenchufar la fuente de alimentacin, el aparato cambia al funcionamien- to con batera. Aqu el tiempo en espera depende del estado de carga de la batera. Para apagar el aparato mantenga pulsada la tecla durante aprox. 2 se- gundos, el LED de encendido se apaga.

Si no hay conexin entre los aparatos (la unidad para bebs no est encendida o est fuera de cobertura), se escucha una seal de advertencia en la unidad para padres.

7. Aplicacin Ajuste de volumen El volumen de la unidad para padres se puede ajustar pulsando las teclas

o en 5 niveles.

La intensidad del sonido se indica adems mediante el indicador de nivel de sonido LED, con lo que el aparato puede ser utilizado tambin por personas con problemas auditivos o sordas.

Informacin importante sobre el intercomunicador

Utilice el intercomunicador con pilas o con la batera para reducir la conta- minacin producida por los campos electromagnticos.

Coloque la unidad para bebs cerca de una puerta o ventana, y a la mayor altura posible, para aumentar el alcance del intercomunicador. Asegrese de que las pilas estn cargadas.

Tenga en cuenta que las ondas electromagnticas de otros aparatos pue- den alterar el funcionamiento del intercomunicador. Por este motivo, no lo coloque cerca de microondas, receptores WLAN, etc.

Hay otros factores que pueden provocar un mal funcionamiento del inter- comunicador o la reduccin de su alcance: que el aparato est cubierto por algo, obstculos (como muebles, paredes, casas y rboles) o factores medioambientales (como la niebla o la lluvia).

Cambio de pilas/carga de la batera

Si las pilas se gastan o la batera se descarga, el aparato se apagar automticamente y tendr que cambiar las pilas o volver a cargar la batera (consulte la seccin acerca de la puesta en funcionamiento).

Cada vez que tenga que cambiar las pilas, hgalo por unas del mismo tipo y de la misma marca y capacidad.

Cambie todas las pilas de una vez. Utilice pilas sin metales pesados.

8. Limpieza y cuidado La vida til del aparato depende del cuidado con que se utilice.

Atencin! Retire las pilas de la unidad para padres si el aparato no se utiliza

durante un periodo de tiempo prolongado. Conseguir el mximo rendimiento de la batera si la deja descar-

garse completamente al menos cada seis meses. Desconecte el aparato y deje que la batera se descargue con el uso; una vez de- scargada, crguela de nuevo completamente.

Para conseguir el mximo rendimiento de una batera, es ne- cesario llevar a cabo el proceso de carga en varias ocasiones. Adems, influyen otros factores como el estado de la batera, la temperatura ambiente o la frecuencia y el modo de carga de la ba- tera, por citar algunos.

Proteja el aparato de golpes, humedad, polvo, sustancias qumi- cas, grandes cambios de temperatura, campos electromagnticos y de la cercana de fuentes de calor (hornos, radiadores).

Elimine la suciedad con un trapo suave y seco. Limpie el aparato con un trapo seco. No use productos abrasivos.

9. Resolucin de problemas Error Medidas El LED de corriente no se ilumina al en- cender el aparato.

Compruebe lo siguiente: Los respectivos enchufes estn bien conectados. Las pilas estn llenas o la batera debe cargarse o

est deteriorada (unidad para padres). En la unidad para padres suena una seal acstica.

Compruebe lo siguiente: No se ha sobrepasado el radio de alcance. El bloque de alimentacin de la unidad para bebs

est bien conectado. La unidad para bebs est encendida. Las pilas estn llenas o la batera debe cargarse o

est deteriorada (unidad para padres). La seal es dbil, la conexin se in- terrumpe una y otra vez o se producen interferencias.

Si hay otro aparato tecnolgico, como un microon- das, entre la unidad para padres y la unidad para bebs, retire el aparato o desconctelo.

Compruebe si hay otros elementos, como rbo- les u otros objetos, entre los aparatos y cambie de lugar los aparatos hasta que la unidad para padres indique que hay conexin.

Compruebe que la unidad para bebs y la unidad para padres se encuentran dentro del radio de al- cance pertinente.

En la unidad para padres no suena ninguna seal acstica.

Ajuste el volumen en la unidad para padres.

Un aparato se apaga.

Cambie las pilas o vuelva a cargar la batera (uni- dad para padres).

10. Eliminacin Para la proteccin del medio ambiente, no se debe desechar los aparatos al final de su vida til junto con la basura domstica. Se puede desechar en los puntos de recogida adecuados de que dispone su zona. Respete las normas locales referentes a la eliminacin de residuos.

Avvertenze sulluso delle batterie

Pericolo: Se ingoiate, le batterie rappresentano un pericolo mortale. Tenerle

lontane dalla portata dei bambini. In caso di ingestione di una bat- teria, richiedere immediatamente assistenza medica.

Le batterie non devono essere ricaricate o riattivate con altri mez- zi; inoltre non devono essere aperte, gettate nel fuoco o cortocir- cuitate.

Le batterie possono contenere sostanze nocive per la salute e lambiente. Quindi devono essere smaltite correttamente, nel ri- spetto delle norme di legge vigenti. Non gettare mai le batterie nei normali rifiuti domestici.

Non esporre le batterie a fonti di calore intenso, quali sole, fuoco o simili.

Avvertenza: Sostituire in tempo utile le batterie quasi scariche. La fuoriuscita di liquido dalle batterie pu danneggiare lapparec-

chio. Se lapparecchio non venisse utilizzato per lunghi periodi, to- gliere le batterie dallapposito scomparto.

Se una batteria presenta una perdita di liquido, indossare guanti protettivi e pulire lo scomparto con un panno asciutto.

Indicazioni generali

Le riparazioni possono essere effettuate solo dal Servizio clienti o da rivenditori autorizzati. Non aprire o riparare personalmente lap- parecchio per non comprometterne il corretto funzionamento. In caso contrario la garanzia decade.

Per ulteriori domande sullutilizzo delle apparecchiature, rivolgersi al proprio rivenditore o al Servizio clienti.

4. Uso conforme Utilizzare lapparecchio solo per sorvegliare il bambino quando non pos-

sibile controllarlo direttamente. La responsabilit ultima della supervisione del bambino rimane in ogni caso a carico dei genitori.

Lapparecchio destinato solo a uso domestico/privato e non industriale. Lapparecchio non deve essere utilizzato da persone (compresi bambini)

con ridotte capacit fisiche, percettive o intellettive o non in possesso della necessaria esperienza e/o conoscenza, se non sotto la supervisione di una persona responsabile per la loro sicurezza o che fornisca loro le indicazioni per luso dellapparecchio.

Controllare che i bambini non utilizzino lapparecchio per gioco. Qualsiasi uso non conforme comporta un pericolo.

Funzionamento a batterie - Processo di carica

Per garantire la massima sicurezza, lunit genitore concepita in modo da funzionare solo con la batteria inserita.

Le batterie, prima di utilizzare lapparecchio per la prima volta senza essere collegato alla presa, devono essere caricate per minimo 16 ore, durante le quali gi possibile utilizzare lapparecchio. Accendere lunit genitore tenendo premuto il pulsante per 2 secondi. Il LED Power dellunit genitore si illumina. Lapparecchio attivo.

Quando la carica della batteria ricaricabile bassa, lunit genitore emette due volte un segnale acustico. Se lapparecchio non collegato ad una presa, dopo poco tempo si spegne automaticamente. Il LED Power si spegne.

Funzionamento con alimentatore Collegare lunit genitore incl. la batteria ricaricabile con lalimentatore a una presa di corrente. Lapparecchio si accende automaticamente. Il LED Power verde. Una volta estratto lalimentatore, lapparecchio passa al funzionamento a batteria. La durata della modalit standby dipende dalla carica delle batterie. Per spegnere lapparecchio tenere premuto il pulsante per circa 2 secondi. Il LED Power si spegne.

Se le due unit non sono collegate tra loro (perch lunit bambino non accesa o si trova al di fuori della portata), lunit genitore emette un segnale acustico di avvertimento.

Lintensit del rumore viene visualizzata anche tramite lindicatore LED del livello di rumore, in modo che lapparecchio possa essere utilizzato anche da persone con problemi di udito o non udenti.

Informazioni importanti sul babyphone

Il funzionamento del babyphone a batterie/batterie ricaricabili riduce al mi- nimo lelettrosmog provocato dai campi alternativi elettrici e magnetici.

La trasmissione del babyphone pu essere disturbata da altre onde radio, pertanto opportuno evitare di posizionare il babyphone vicino ad appa- recchi quali forno a microonde, dispositivi WLAN, ecc.

Altri elementi che possono disturbare la trasmissione del babyphone o ri- durne la portata sono mobili, pareti, case, alberi, condizioni ambientali (ad es. nebbia, pioggia) o se gli apparecchi vengono coperti.

Caricamento/Sostituzione delle batterie

Quando le batterie sono completamente scariche, gli apparecchi si spengo- no automaticamente. Le batterie devono quindi essere cambiate o ricaricate (vedi Messa in funzione).

A ogni sostituzione delle batterie, utilizzare batterie ricaricabili dello stesso tipo, della stessa marca e della stessa capacit.

Sostituire sempre tutte le batterie contemporaneamente. Utilizzare preferibilmente batterie prive di metalli pesanti.

8. Pulizia e cura La durata dellapparecchio dipende dalluso corretto.

Avvertenza: Se lunit genitore non viene utilizzata per un lungo periodo,

estrarre le batterie. Per sfruttare al meglio la capacit delle batterie ricaricabili, sca-

ricarle almeno ogni 6 mesi. A tale scopo, staccare lapparecchio dallalimentazione e far scaricare le batterie con il normale uso. Ri- caricare quindi le batterie completamente.

La capacit massima delle batterie ricaricabili si raggiunge solo dopo diverse cariche e dipende da numerosi fattori (stato della batteria, temperatura ambiente, modalit e frequenza di ricarica, ecc.).

Non esporre gli apparecchi a urti, umidit, polvere, prodotti chimi- ci, forti sbalzi di temperatura, campi elettromagnetici e fonti di ca- lore troppo vicine (forni, caloriferi).

Se lapparecchio sporco, pulirlo con un panno morbido e asciut- to.

Pulire gli apparecchi con un panno asciutto. Non utilizzare deter- genti abrasivi.

danneggiate (unit genitore). Il segnale debole, il collegamento si interrompe sempre o ci sono interfe- renze.

Se ad esempio tra lunit bambino e lunit genitore si trova un altro apparecchio, come ad esempio un microonde, allontanare lapparecchio o spegnerlo.

Verificare se tra le due unit ci sono altri elementi di disturbo, come ad es. alberi o altro, e posizionare lapparecchio di conseguenza in modo che il se- gnale di collegamento giunga fino allunit genitore.

Verificare se lunit bambino e lunit genitore si trovano nel raggio di azione luna dellaltra.

Lunit genitore non emette alcun segnale acustico.

Adattare il volume dei segnali acustici allunit ge- nitore.

Un apparecchio si spegne.

Sostituire le batterie o ricaricare la batteria ricarica- bile (unit genitore).

10. Smaltimento A tutela dellambiente, al termine del suo utilizzo lapparecchio non deve es- sere smaltito nei rifiuti domestici. Lo smaltimento va effettuato negli appositi centri di raccolta. Seguire le norme locali vigenti per lo smaltimento.
