(EN) Step 3: Channel Management

SD8/SD16 Channel Management Signals are routed to and from the SD8/16 and a mixer or S16/DL16 via CAT-5e cable, with maximum cable runs up to 100 meters. The clock source is always received on AES50 port A, and the P-16 ULTRANET signals are carried on AES50-A channels 33-48. The 8 analog outputs can carry AES50-A channels 1-8, 9-16, or 17-24, selectable via the 3-position switch on the side of the stagebox.

When chaining multiple SD8 or SD16 units, the signals from the second stagebox in the chain are sent via AES50-A to the next stageboxs AES50 port B. The signals from the second stagebox are shifted up by 8 or 16 channels when merged with the first stagebox (see chart for details). The output select switch would typically be set to the 9-16 position to allow different signals to be sent from the 2 stageboxes.

MIDI Control with S16/DL16

Though the SD-series stageboxes will commonly be used with an X32/M32 digital console, it is possible to incorporate these products as part of a standalone digital snake. The SD8/16 head amp gain and phantom power settings can be remotely controlled via MIDI when used standalone with a Behringer S16 or Midas DL16 master unit.

Note that the S16/DL16 will only accept MIDI preamp controls when its preamps are not controlled via AES50 already. Slave connection to an X32/M32 console or another S16/DL16 in SN Master mode will inhibit MIDI preamp control. MIDI channel 1 controls the SN Master units local preamps (transmit and receive), while MIDI channel 2 controls the Slave unit, which in this case would be the SD8/16.

(ES) Paso 3: Gestin de Canales

Las seales son rutadas a y desde el SD8/16 y un mezclador o S16/DL16 a travs de un cable CAT-5e, con una longitud mxima de cable de 100 metros. La fuente de reloj es siempre recibido en el puerto AES50 A y las seales P-16 ULTRANET son emitidas en los canales AES50-A 33-48. Las 8 salidas analgicas pueden emitir los canales AES50-A 1-8, 9-16 17-24, conmutables a travs de un selector de 3 posiciones en el lateral de la unidad.

Cuando conecte en cadena varias unidades SD8 SD16, las seales de la segunda unidad de escenario de la cadena sern enviadas a travs del AES50-A al puerto AES50 B de la siguiente unidad. Las seales de la segunda unidad de escenario son movidas en 8 16 canales cuando sean mezcladas con las de la primera unidad (vea la tabla para ms detalles). El selector de salida habitualmente debera estar ajustado a la posicin 9-16 para que puedan ser enviadas distintas seales desde las 2 unidades de escenario.

Control MIDI con S16/DL16

Aunque las unidades de escenario de la serie SD sern usadas habitualmente con una mesa de mezclas digital X32/M32, tambin es posible incorporar estos productos como parte de una manguera digital independiente. Los ajustes de ganancia de amplificacin y alimentacin fantasma del SD8/16 pueden ser controlados de forma remota va MIDI cuando use esta unidad de forma independiente con una unidad mster Behringer S16 Midas DL16.

Tenga en cuenta que el S16/DL16 solo aceptarn controles de previo MIDI cuando sus previos no estn siendo ya controlados va AES50. La conexin como esclavo a una mesa de mezclas X32/M32 u otro S16/DL16 en el modo SN Master anular el control de previo MIDI. El canal MIDI 1 controlar los previos locales de la unidad SN Master (transmisin y recepcin), mientras que el canal MIDI 2 controlar la unidad esclava, que en este caso ser el SD8/16.

Les signaux sont routs vers et depuis le SD8/16 et une console de mixage ou un botier numrique S16/DL16 par un cble CAT-5e dune longueur maximale de 100 mtres. La source dhorloge est toujours capte par le port AES50 A et les signaux ULTRANET du mlangeur de retour personnel P-16 sont ports par les canaux AES50 A 33 48. Les 8 sorties analogiques peuvent porter les canaux AES50-A 1-8, 9-16 ou 17-24, slectionnables grce au slecteur 3 positions situ sur le ct du botier de scne.

Lorsque plusieurs SD8 ou SD16 sont connects en cascade, les signaux du deuxime botier de scne de la chane sont envoys par le port AES50 A au port AES50 B du botier de scne suivant. Les signaux du deuxime botier de scne sont dcals de 8 ou 16 canaux lorsquils sont combins avec ceux du premier botier de scne (voir le tableau pour plus de dtails). Dans ce cas, le slecteur de sortie doit normalement tre plac sur 9-16 pour permettre aux diffrents signaux dtre transmis depuis les deux botiers de scne.

Contrle MIDI avec S16/DL16

Mme si les botiers de scne de la srie SD sont habituellement utiliss avec une console numrique X32/M32, il est possible de les incorporer systme multipaire autonome. Les pramplis et lalimentation fantme du SD8/16 peuvent tre contrls distance en MIDI lors dune utilisation autonome avec un botier numrique Behringer S16 ou Midas DL16 utilis en matre.

Remarquez que les pramplis du S16/DL16 pourront tre contrls en MIDI uniquement sils ne sont pas dj contrls par AES50. La connexion en tant quesclave une console X32/M32 ou un autre S16/DL16 en mode SN Master empche le contrle MIDI des pramplis. Le canal MIDI 1 permet de contrler les pramplis de lappareil matre (transmission et rception) et le canal MIDI 2 permet de contrler lappareil esclave, dans ce cas le SD8/16.

Signale werden via CAT-5e Kabel zum und vom SD8/16 und einem Mixer oder einer S16/DL16 bertragen, wobei Kabelwege von maximal 100 Metern erlaubt sind. Die Clock-Quelle wird immer ber AES50-Port A empfangen und die P-16 ULTRANET- Signale werden ber die AES50-A Kanle 33 - 48 bertragen. Die 8 Analogausgnge knnen die AES50-A Kanle 1 - 8, 9 - 16 oder 17 24 bertragen, was ber den 3-Weg-Schalter auf der Seite der Stagebox whlbar ist.

Beim Verketten mehrerer SD8- oder SD16-Gerte werden die Signale der zweiten Stagebox in der Kette via AES50-A zum AES50 Port B der nchsten Stagebox geleitet. Werden die Signale der zweiten Stagebox mit denen der ersten gemischt, werden sie um 8 oder 16 Kanle nach oben verschoben (siehe Tabelle). Der Ausgangs-Wahlschalter sollte normalerweise auf 9-16 stehen, damit man unterschiedliche Signale von den 2 Stageboxen senden kann.

MIDI-Steuerung mit der S16/DL16

Obwohl die Stageboxen der SD-Serie normalerweise mit einem X32/M32-Digitalpult eingesetzt werden, kann man diese Produkte auch in eine eigenstndige Digital Snake integrieren. Beim eigenstndigen Einsatz mit einer Behringer S16- oder Midas DL16-Mastereinheit kann man das SD8/16 Vorverstrker-Gain und die Phantomspannung via MIDI fernsteuern.

Hinweis: Die S16/DL16 akzeptieren MIDI Preamp-Steuerungen nur dann, wenn ihre Vorverstrker nicht bereits via AES50 gesteuert werden. Eine Slave-Verbindung mit einem X32/M32-Pult oder einer anderen S16/DL16 im SN Master-Modus verhindert die MIDI Preamp-Steuerung. MIDI-Kanal 1 steuert die lokalen Vorverstrker des SN Master-Gerts (Senden und Empfangen), whrend MIDI-Kanal 2 das Slave-Gert steuert, das in diesem Fall die SD8/16 wre.

Os sinais so roteados para e provenientes do SD8/16 e um misturador ou S16/DL16 atravs de cabo CAT-5e, com extenso de cabo mxima de at 100 metros. A fonte de relgio sempre captado na porta A AES50, e os sinais P-16 ULTRANET so sempre realizados nos canais 33-48 AES50-A. As 8 sadas anlogas podem conduzir os canais 1-8, 9-16, ou 17-24 do AES50-A, selecionveis atravs do boto de 3 posies ao lado da caixa de palco.

Quando estiver fazendo a ligao em cadeia de unidades mltiplas SD8 ou SD16, os sinais provenientes da segunda caixa de palco na cadeia so enviados atravs do AES50-A at a prxima porta B da caixa de palco AES50. Os sinais provenientes da segunda caixa de palco so deslocadas para cima pelos canais 8 ou 16 quando misturados com a primeira caixa de palco (verificar grfico para obter detalhes). O boto de seleo de sada estaria tipicamente ajustado na posio 9-16 para permitir que sinais diferentes sejam enviados a partir das 2 caixas de palco.

MIDI Control with S16/DL16

Embora as caixas de palco SD-series sejam tipicamente usadas com uma mesa digital X32/M32, possvel incorporar esses produtos como parte de um digital snake standalone. Os ajustes do ganho e alimentao fantasma do cabeote amplificador SD8/16 podem ser controlados remotamente pelo MIDI quando usados como standalone com uma unidade principal Behringer S16 ou Midas DL16.

Note que o S16/DL16 somente aceitar controles de pr amplificador MIDI quando seus pr amplificadores no estiverem j sendo controlados atravs do AES50. A conexo slave com uma mesa X32/M32 ou outra S16/DL16 no modo SN Master inibir o controle de pr amplificador do MIDI. O canal 1 do MIDI controla os pr amplificadores locais da unidade SN Master (transmisso e recepo), enquanto que o canal 2 do MIDI controla a unidade Slave, que neste caso seria o SD8/16.

SD8/SD16 Channel Management I segnali vengono instradati da e verso SD8/16 e un mixer o S16/DL16 tramite cavo CAT-5e, con una lunghezza massima del cavo fino a 100 metri. La sorgente di clock viene sempre ricevuta sulla porta A dell'AES50 e i segnali ULTRANET del P-16 vengono trasmessi sui canali 33-48 dell'AES50-A. Le 8 uscite analogiche possono trasportare i canali AES50-A 1-8, 9-16 o 17-24, selezionabili tramite l'interruttore a 3 posizioni sul lato dello stagebox.

Quando si concatenano pi unit SD8 o SD16, i segnali dal secondo stagebox della catena vengono inviati tramite AES50-A alla porta AES50 B dello stagebox successivo. I segnali del secondo stagebox vengono spostati verso l'alto di 8 o 16 canali quando vengono uniti al primo palco (vedi tabella per i dettagli). L'interruttore di selezione dell'uscita dovrebbe essere in genere impostato sulla posizione '9-16' per consentire l'invio di segnali diversi dai 2 stagebox.

SD8/SD16 Channel Management Signalen worden van en naar de SD8/16 en een mixer of S16/DL16 gerouteerd via CAT-5e- kabel, met een maximale kabellengte tot 100 meter. De klokbron wordt altijd ontvangen op AES50-poort A en de P-16 ULTRANET-signalen worden overgedragen op AES50-A- kanalen 33-48. De 8 analoge uitgangen kunnen AES50-A-kanalen 1-8, 9-16 of 17-24 dragen, selecteerbaar via de 3-standenschakelaar aan de zijkant van de stagebox.

Bij het koppelen van meerdere SD8- of SD16-eenheden worden de signalen van de tweede stagebox in de keten via AES50-A naar de AES50-poort B van de volgende stagebox gestuurd. MIDI Control with S16/DL16

Hoewel de stageboxen uit de SD-serie vaak worden gebruikt met een X32/M32 digitale console, is het mogelijk om deze producten op te nemen als onderdeel van een zelfstandige digitale slang. De SD8/16-hoofdversterkerversterking en fantoomvoedingsinstellingen kunnen op afstand worden bediend via MIDI wanneer ze standalone worden gebruikt met een Behringer S16- of Midas DL16-mastereenheid.

Merk op dat de S16/DL16 alleen MIDI-voorversterkerbesturingen accepteert als de voorversterkers niet al via AES50 worden bestuurd. Slave-verbinding met een X32/M32-console of een andere S16/DL16 in SN Master-modus zal de MIDI-voorversterkerbesturing blokkeren.
