Using the Remote Engine Starter

Note: Remote Control Range (200 ft) depending on where you are, you may experience reduced range reception. See the Users Information Manual for more details.

Starting the Engine: 10-minute mode 1. Push the command button on the transmitter for

1 second or less, then push in the start button within 2 seconds.

2. The transmitter emits two rapid beeps, and sends a signal to start the engine. After starting the engine, the transmitter emits another sound, and the REMAINING IDLING TIME indicator is shown on the display.

20-minute mode 1. Repeat step 1 to extend to 20 minutes.

NOTE Note that you cannot return the remote engine starter

system to the 10-minute mode after changing to the 20- minute mode by operating the transmitter.

The engine cannot start for 20 minutes even though you stop the engine within 10 minutes after exceeding the time to the 20-minute mode.

Stopping the Engine 1. Push the command button on the transmitter for

1 second or less, then push the stop button within 2 seconds.

2. The transmitter emits a short beep, and sends a signal to stop the engine. When the engine stops, the OFF indicator is shown on the display.

Checking Vehicle Status You can check the vehicle condition on the transmitter display by performing the following operation: Push the command button 2 times on the transmitter for

1 second or less.

NOTE: This function does not work when the ignition switch is in the ON (II) position.
